can someone help me please i flashed CM9 to my samsung infuse 4g phone and it wouldnt let me send or recieve picture messages so i reflashed back to Gingerbread 2.3.6 and now it wont get passed cwm and everytime i reboot it shows the galxy s cm9 logo then goes back to cwm again. how can i get it back to stock os where it will work again
You should start by reading the infuse 4g forum. They should have guides to help you along. After you have read EVERYTHING related to your issue, you should post in their Q&A section. They will have a better understanding of what exactly is happening. But try to help yourself first before you ask others for help, you would be amazed how much a little (or a lot depending) can really help.

I have had slot of problems trying to flash. Does anyone know how to do this? Every time I try to reboot my phone it gets stuck on that stupid Samsung screen and so then I need to Odin it. Pain in my butthole. How do I install roms and kernels? Hi guys I thought I would see if I could find a solution here you all seem to be a nice bunch of folks with little or no trolls lol.
Right I rooted my phone today and installed beastmod using clockwork recovery mod I followed the instructions and everything down to the T and well my phone comes up with the samsung galaxy sign with the ! mark in the yellow triangle then it goes black and nothing happens I am worried I have bricked my phone.
So I thought ok ill switch back to the original rom but I cant find the original ROM ,well I can but the links are dead my Kernel from what I can remember was BOKG2.. which seems to be macedonia strange since I live in the uk and I am also on tmbile lol .
I have no idea what to do any help would be very appreciated! I just want my phone back to normal now although using beastmod would be cool too!
oh and I can still boot in recovery and download mode ..

Hi, my friend has this phone and she cant receive sms anymore, i told her i could fix it just by rooting it + installing new rom on it, but now im new to these thread so could anyone guide me to which rom is super stable and if i have anything else to flash like a kernel or something. THANKS!!

If this phone is stock, then SMS not working is probably due to apn/provider settings being wrong in Settings.

Okay so i finally got my US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S Mesmerise GB:2.3.6 and i want to downgrade to froyo 2.2.2 but i can't!!! I tried flashing back via odin to EE19:2.2.2 but it just bricks(soft) the phone Then i tried EC10 and it worked flawlessly BUT ONE MAJOR PROBLEM. It has no signal! I tried the *228 phone call to activate it but it says to turn off airplane mode and its not even on!!! I tried factory resetting it/took out the batter for half hour and still nothing!! I just don't get what I'm doing wrong guys However i did manage to flash back to 2.3.5 and rooted it. But i want to go to froyo so badly but it has no radio/signal?!?! If anyone can help me get back to froyo it would be most helpful and I'm most grateful for any help at all SOMEONE JUST PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK TO A WORKING FROYO PPPPLLLLLLZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!! :crying:
You've already posted this question in the Samsung Galaxy S Mesmerize forum so you're not allowed to post exactly the same thing here. You'd get less help from here anyway because most people will have different phones whereas people in your own forum will have exactly the same phone meaning they can help you better.

Hi, Im very lost in rooting my device of a Samsung Galaxy S3 SPH-L710...I tried rooting my device following steps on the forums for samsung galaxy s3's and everything was going right until I downloaded TWRP and I ended up on booting into TWRP and I tried to reboot and now it says I have , "NO OS"......So just to see what happens I rebooted different ways on TWRP and now it gets as far as showing the Samsung Galaxy SIII logo and stays on that screen until I take the batteries out and the only way to get on any screen is pushing Menu button, Volume and On button to get into TWRP... :crying: .Im totally lost..please tell me I didnt brick or something of no return...I dont care if i Factory Reset...I just wanted it to root and work for me..... :crying: .please help if possible...or any advice what to do next???

I know what your gonna probably say next after my next question...and thats maybe you saying, "What the heck u doing here and doing rooting if you dont know crap!!".....hehe...uuhh but my yeah my next question is..."HOW do I flash stock rom via odin???"....Uhhg I know I know I rooted my pantech flex with step by step on xda and that I thought that all of a sudden made me near an expertise in the computer field... ..haha...uuhhh Im not even close to knowing crap.... And btw....thank you thank you for replying back to my help in need....but maybe if there is even a thread you can revert me to here on xda that would clearly explain it all with all my needs and conditions???
