Has anyone else experienced an issue trying to download Instagram after running the new CM 7.2 Stable version??
When I go to download the application through the Google Play store I get this error at the top:
Your device isn't compatible with this version.
I'm not sure why it worked fine before when I was running CM 7.1.
Is there a fix other than just finding the APK I would rather not do that so I can keep up to date with the application through the Play Store.
Have the same issue on latest nightly

I'm on the June 15 nightly, I have no issue, try wiping davlik and regular cache and market data and cache.

I ended up clearing the data on the play store. booted into recovery and wiped cache, dalvik cache, and fixed permissions and rebooted and it worked.

Wiping just the cache and dalvik cache should work fine.
so i updated cm10 to a newer version and i didn't wipe anything i just flashed the zip file and everything booted up fine but now im worried that something may go wrong in the future can anyone help??
Boot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik. Reboot and you should be good.
If you start getting issues, consider reflashing will all the wipes.

I have couple of question and need some help. With the new AOKP nightlies being release every 3 days or so, I would like to stay updated on them. So when I download them and proceed to update and flash over the old nightly. (Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache) Upon reboot everything is gone icluding Gapps and seems that it instead of just updating the rom and keeping everything, It updates everything and wipes clean as if it was a fresh flash instead of a update flash ("Dirty flash"). Does anybody know why this happens? Is it that with the AOKP nightlies, you just have to always do a clean install and flash?

I can see why the keyboard won't work. That might be due to having to re install Gapps. But I don't understand why every time I update to the new nightlies, all my stuff is gone and it's like a full wipe fresh install/flash. Does anybody know how to avoid this from happening? Or is it that AOKP nightlies won't allow these types of updates.
I don't think there is a way around this. I've been using aokp for awhile and i just keep all my apps backed up so i can restore them after install.
Okay. Thank you for the help.

It's not working as I expected. Battery life is like half the time it was before on CM 10.1. Anyone having the same issue?

CarbonROM supposedly is...

Tried it out for a short while. Except for a FC on the setup wizard (first wipe), looks pretty solid.

A new CM11 ROM is also out.
Good practice is to do a full factory reset, wipe dalvik, format system, format sdcard0 (some even advocate formatting it twice). Then load your zip, then gapps. Then wipe cache and dalvik (again).
I usually load BaNkS minimal gapps. Very thin, and I let the playstore take care of the rest.
