Move to next song - HTC One S

Hi,
I used to have an ipod and it was possible to go to the next song from the active apps Window(when you double click the ipod home button).
I find it very annoying to always go out of an application change song and return to the app... Does someone have a solution For that?
I have stock Rom unrooted.

Cyanogen mod has the ability to put music controls in the notification area. Or you can use Widgetsoid.

It's a bit difficult to explain. Try this:

Pandora lockscreen controls?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get Pandora controls to popup on the lock screen when it is playing?
I'm looking for something similar to what Google Music does.

I'd like this for Power Amp as well. It's gotta be the way the app is coded, since HTC Music, Google Music, and BeyondPod all show the HTC lock screen controls.
Maybe email Pandora and ask if they'll update it.
Did a little research, apparently the only way to get lock screen controls is by using widget locker and put the actual widget on the lock screen. Only problem with this is that they don't disappear when pandora closes.

Well that's something at least. I'll check it out.

[Q][Req] App to listen to YouTube in the background

Hello
Does anyone know of an app to listen to YouTube audio in the background while I can do things like browse the Internet?
This would be useful to listen to music.
Thanks!

Try PVSTAR+

This looks and sounds right, but when I try to play a video, it just sits on 'now loading...'.
Any idea what might be wrong?
I have a fast connection, and it only takes a few seconds to open on the YouTube app.

Supervideo, its that pop up video player, like sgs3. Open utube then share....click supervideo.
LisTube....its better then PVSTAR+....just not as well known. It does what you want.
Is it possible to hear music with LisTube while the screen is off?
Background playback in Listube doesnt work with a galaxy sii in android 4.03. Not for me anyway.

There's a shortcut app in the play store that will let you put an icon on the home screen for desk dock that's already in your phone

I can't remember, just try shortcut. Honestly, I just use alarm clock plus but that's all personal preference.

By sub I mean an option inside a main option in settings... I know if you go to the message app like your going to send a text and hit the menu it will also bring up message settings too... It has been a long time since I've been on sense but I'm sure I saw that option somewhere.. Sorry for being so vague...
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
No worries.
Yeah looks like the only setting is to show message on lock screen, but nothing to actually turn screen on when it arrives. I really only want this because I always have my phone on silent. When playing Xbox with headphones I miss everything but I guess that's a good thing lol.
Anyways thanks for the help

I don't ever remember hearing about that option built into a rom--
But, as Google is your proverbial friend--maybe this--it is for text messages, maybe something else available for more notifications--

I use this app, simple and does exactly what it says it does. Turns on your screen when you get a text, nothing more nothing less.
I bought the pro version, there is also a free version that does the same thing.
There used to be an stock option in sense, I'm not sure what version they took it out in.

How to sort playlist songs in play music

Hello,
I can't figure how to move a song up or down in a playlist ...
It's there a solution for this?

If you're in the playlist view, there's these tiny little lines next to each track listing. Tap and drag to rearrange.
