I will not be held responsible for any damage done to your device. I only say this so I don't get sewed or accused. Download at you own risk. So far I've been running it for a hour and it's working great!

Change Log:
1. Rom Was Created
2. Fixed Data & Roaming Indicator - Thank whoshotjr2006

Another Rom will be released here shortly!! How's everyone liking this one?

im working on getting the roaming indicator fixed right now, just gotta let my phone back up and get shendu installed
congrats on your release!

Thread updated! Enjoy my other Rom is about to be Released!

with this addon (not flashable from recovery, sorry for that) status bar is fixed to a solid black color which just seems to work better
edit: oh yeah, lol almost forgot this. i didnt quite like the stock cyanogenmod wallpaper, so i replaced the default wallpaper with a better one from shenduos, hope you and others like it
if you want the roboto fonts, they are attached. just drag and drop replace.
now to start resizing and getting the last of things translated then this rom would be 100% complete, oh yeah, and minfree tweaks and bulletproof launcher. then 100%
edit: after messing around, i found that the dialer app is whats borked. dunno how to fix it right now.
so the only clear course of action for the time being to call this fixed, is to find another dialer app to replace the native one with. i tried dialer one which is free on the market and it works great with absolutely no crashes. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kz.mek.DialerOne&hl=en
we will have to find a dialer app that the author does not mind us including in a stock install of this rom

Alright thanks my thread will be updated soon =)
Sent from my PG06100 using xda premium

forgot to say this part too:
we can remove some apk's that either dont work or dont need to be there.
stk.apk is sim toolkit, we dont need that on a cdma phone
fm.apk is fm radio, doesnt work on heroc
livewallpapers.apk and livewallpaperspicker.apk, live wallpapers doesnt work great on heroc, would be worth it to remove
magicsmokewallpapers.apk is a live wallpapers, remove it since it doesnt work
removing the 2 untranslated apks, one looks like a market and the other one a file manager
also maybe consider replacing pinyin ime with regular good old android keyboard

Expect more Roms from me tomorrow ill be porting 2 Roms maybe 3

[THEME]BlueMod for CM 5.0.6 - N1 and Droid

Like the stock normal look and feel of Android, but don't much care for orange? Well, here's a blue alternative. Check out the screenshots below.
It's a metamorph, so apply accordingly. I expect you to know how to use Metamorph. Search around on XDA or Google if you need to learn it.
This is a flash-over theme. It will only work and look right if you apply it over the stock Cyanogenmod rom as only the images/files that need to be changed from orange to blue are modified. If you have a theme already, flash your current Cyanogenmod rom from recovery first before applying this metamorph.
This has been tested on both the Droid and the Nexus One each with Cyanogen's latest roms (5.0.6.2). It should work for future versions as well.
Apps not yet themed (will still have some orange bits):
Market
Youtube
Gmail
Facebook
any other market app...
I haven't decided if I want to include these in the theme since I'd have to modify and re-sign the full APKs. Also, if I did that there wouldn't be any updates. Market and Youtube shouldn't be a prolem, and I plan on including those.
I also want to say thank you to the following people:
@Stericson for his awesome work on metamorph and making it all possible.
@Cyanogen for the awesome work on the ROMs.
@PhaseBurn and @iShawnW for helping test things with this theme.
* Everyone who's posted on XDA with bits of knowledge especially the Ultimate Android Theming Guide (Jairomeo, Manup456, ArmyRanger251, Stericson, Brandenk, SirMez, Beagz, david1171_) and many others.
Please provide feedback and post any issues it might have here.
Edit: a version for CM 5.0.7-test(x) for Dream/Magic is coming soon too as soon as I build the morph.

Awesome dude. thanks. looks awesome.
Except... that it doesn't work. applied fine, but didn't do anything.
Really? Can anyone else confirm? It was working fine for me and 2 others.
If anyone else has a problem with it not applying I'll look into it and see if maybe the zip I uploaded is bad...

Looks epic, anyway I can get one thats not a metamorph so I can just apply it over my current theme? That would make it awesome
I might be persuaded to do an update.zip method.

Looks good, running with no problems. Love the blue!
Looks good, ran in to 1 problem so far. After it was applied and restarted, I was able to use the camera app, but then when I try to use it again it just goes to a black screen.
Odd.
Did you reboot again after having the issue?
Try killing the camera process with a task manager and opening it again.
Try wiping the dalvik-cache and restarting.
If the issue is persistant Pm me with a logcat while opening camera and I'll see what I can determine.

Black Gtalk and GVoice - now available in JARubix 10/28

Ok, this took a lot of work ( at least GTalk did )
I was only able to make this work by reviewing and wonderful work already done by "thebowers" for the "Black N Bold" theme.
This will be released with the new JAR custom update which is being worked on now and offically being ported to Rubix, as Fussion will no longer be supported on the DX.

Black Google Voice
Both APK's are available in JARubix and they should work on any ROM
Excellent! I am a rubiX fan. So - looking forward to it.
Will these work on OTA?
You will need to have root to install GTalk, cause its a system app, but yea they should both work on OTA or any 2.2 build..
Looks awesome, can't wait to see it finalized so I can toss it into my customized TranQ 3.0 build I'm working on.
Sweet. A fine addition to my blacked out DX.
Will the GVoice widget be themed aswell?

No, it is not. I did not want to completely theme Gvoice just release a black version
BTW this is out now. You can find it as part of the JARubix custom update over in the developer section.

where is the update.zip of the files? Cant seem to find
An issue with black Gtalk - not a big one - no mobile indicators shown. The reason looks to be droid_watermark.png - it doesn't show up on black background at all. I'll try to do something with it.
[edit] Ok, did something about it. The files are:
droid_watermark.png
im_contact_icon_android_light.png
im_contact_icon_mobile_light.png
Changed the base color from black to white, left transparency (alpha) the same.
Works wonders.
APK attached.
Please update, for those that miss the feature that was gone:
adb push TalkMod_Mod.apk /system/app/Talk.apk

[ROM] DI14 Blues ROM

With a little work and permission from jabbawalkee I have ported parts of the MattedBlues theme into this ROM. The original MattedBlues can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768848
I would also like to add a thanks and credit to nitsuj17 for some of the images and the dialer. At the time of my original post, I was unaware that some of the pieces I was using were his.
This is in beta as I have not yet gotten everything in it that I want, but it's a good start and usable. As usual take a nandroid backup before you flash anything. I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone while flashing any of this content. That being said, I have had no problems with any of it. It uses all of the dependencies so all of the stock apps should work and anything that has been removed can be added from the Pick-n-Pack ROM.
Here are a few screen shots. They are low res, so the dock icons look especially fuzzy.

If you want to use the icons for the phone, contacts, app drawer, mms, and web they are in the icon.zip below.
This looks like a theme as opposed to the rom, looks good though and Thanks for posting it.

I probably should have explained a little more. I only decided to deem it a ROM because I left the apk's in tact. Since it installs apk's and not just the drawables and xml's I couldn't call it a theme. I will probably start a pull on all of that stuff so I can put it out as a theme also, but I have several others I'm working on right now so this was the easier for me. Kinda lazy I know, but if the permissions come in I want to be able to get them put out for the variety for now.
--EDIT
OK, I took the time, not as long as I thought btw, to go ahead and rip out the files that need to be taken out of the ROM to make a theme only version. I will post it in the themes and apps section as soon as it finishes uploading.
i would like to say that some of my images and dialer from the fascinate port are in here ...in addition to the ones in the original

Sorry, about that. I thought that I had the original downloaded. I will correct the OP to include you. I never meant to take without asking.

[hero s][ROM]Heroic Hero S V 0.9.2

NX9_Heroic_Hero_S
I am not responsible for any damage to your phone. Flash at your own risk.
Get this phone it's own forum on here.
Hi everyone, this is my first release for developing on any phone.
I know it's nothing special, as it's just a stock rom that I've debloated and tweaked just a bit, but like I said, it's my first attempt at ever doing anything like this.
I would also like to first off thank all the very helpful, and patient people on here, and at the sdx developers forums. All I've learned in this short time (which isn't much really) would have taken so much longer if I had to play around with no guidance.
Working:
Everything as far as I can tell. I've been using all the updates on this as daily drivers on my phone, and have not come into any sort of bugs with it. Again though, that is likely because I didn't really change anything system wise.
What's not working:
Nothing that I've noticed.
No Wimax if you load onto sprint evo design.
What's different:
ICS Roboto font used.
Removed the US Cellular default WP and replaced with the Sense 4.0 default WP.
Added in Green overscroll.
100% battery icons.
New screen transition animations.
Removed all the bloat apps.
Moved some of the apps that could be considered bloat that were kept off the system so they
can be uninstalled. (Amazon app store, etc..)
Added some other useful apps like google voice, etc..
(Added google voice because US cellular doesn't have a VVM app like sprint, but I found setting up VM to forward to google voice works even better for that.)
Updated some of the apps to the newest versions.
Newest version of Google play store.
Rooted, and busybox installed of course.
I'm sure there are a few other minor things I've one, but I can't remember off hand.
I was unable to completely figure out the widget placement and shortcut placement so I decided to go ahead and put this out without messing with it too much. I could move existing ones around just fine, but couldn't get new ones to show up.
Changelog:
V0.9.2
Removed a few widgets that the corresponding apps had already been removed.
Changed the battery icon.
Added in new custom skin.

You might want to check out the forum at sdx developers. There is actually some decent things happening on this phone, they just won't give us a forum here for some reason.
I'm up on the ICS and just can't post to SDX from taptalk. There is something simple that we are missing maybe the ICS kernel Idk.

Awesome! You just love to port stuff, don't you?

lol, i guess. Summer Break is coming so hopefully I can use the extra time and bring a few more ROMs over. Atleast until I get a One X
P.S. Expect a new port in the next 2 days or so
You do a lot of stuff like this, and I really appreciate being able to try new things! It keeps my old aria looking fresh every once in a while. Because of new ROMs I don't end up dumping cash on a new phone!
I am not trying to seem rude, but I'd like to know more about this ROM before I try it. From the description you posted, it seems like a skinned CM port. What else is there?
Sent from my Liberty using xda premium
It's pretty much CM7 with a great notification widget system, data meter, and a nice-looking launcher and replacement settings, music, and most other core apps. It's fantastic coming from CM7 or FroYo, but from CM9, it's just alright.
im gonna try it, doing a nand right now, gonna flash it in a few. i will post status tomorrow.
installed, pretty cool so far. I like the layouts for the menus and the launcher is incredibly smooth with no tweaking. Looks pretty like MiUi too. A few translation errors and some apps appear to be entirely in chinese.
SD manager force closes. And what he said above...

Also realized no live wallpapers 0.o should be an easy fix though
Sorry guys, looks like my phone finally died T-T Looks like I'm going to have to move on. (probs to the one x) I'll try to continue to dev for you guys blind, but i don't think that will turn out well lol
