Does titanium backup work fine with the one x...I used to use it all the time on my infuse. Completely wiping and downloading the apps over again are getting old.
Thanks

Are there any other htc e reader
Has anyone gotten this to work? It failed for me on Eaglesblood. Can someone post the apk?
This one works for me.
I extracted it from a 2.3.4 custom rom a couple of days ago in order to put into another rom that didn't have it as standard.
Can't remember which one, I seem to flash so many! So I can't give credit (although not sure I need to seeing as it's an HTC app?)
Nice! Last one worked on the stock rooted version of the newest update on tmousa! Thanks. Now off to read some books.

Ok just tried on eaglesblood but I am still getting force closes. This sucks!

does anyone have a CWM flashable zip that will work on any rom? each time i install the apk using the apk file it force closes when i open a book and keeps popping up force close errors as long as i have it open. im on TMO USA
Im running clockwork mod 2.5.0.7 and through rom manager ive tried updating to 5.something. However it never works, so, i have the .img file for the newest version. how do i update to it manually? Oh and i don't want to use adb.
thanks in advance
I'm guessing you flash it using CWR

thats what i figured, but it doesn't allow you to flash .img, only .zip. unless im missing something

a) You are missing the whole point of the development section.
b) there is a reason why a number of reputable members here still use cwm 2.5.0.7
SwiftKeyed from my HTC Desire using XDA App.
the only reason im updating is because i want to partition my sd without using adb, but that isn't working out with 2.5
This is the first one for me that partitioning can be done from adb. I love this board as every day I learn something new.

Use gparted for your sd card...
Did u also see there is a Q & A SECTION?!?!?!

Yep, using parted.
Op. Best to use gparted than recovery.

I have 2 backups of my one s, so if I were to get my one s replaced, can I just back up using the backup from my older one s.
I know they would both have to s4 models but is this possible?

I used someone elses nandroid of the 1.84 ROM to update my phone, so it's definitely possible. Not sure if some of your apps might get confused though, so best make a Titanium Backup of apps/data as well to be safe.
Thanks for clearing that up

So I've been on 2.4.1 but I really wanted to flash to jb 3.2.1 for the first time so I did it and it worked fine but then I realized I had to reboot for some apps to restore there data and I did so but then it gets stuck at the Viper xl boot screen. Also it says u don't have to flash the boot. Img so I didn't also I wiped everything b4 I flashed it from ics 2.4.1 to jb 3.2.1.. I also have twrp
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Are you on hboot1.14? I'd flash the boot img just to make sure
by "wiping everything" do you mean you did factory reset (in TWRP) and wiped cashe and Dalvik? Those are all mandatory to wipe (at least if you are having troubles0.
Well I flashed it about 4 times and it finally works I have no idea what was wrong but everything is ok now.. Thnx

Make sure data you are restoring isn't system data as ics and jb don't like each other

Still cannot make hangouts work over 3G, I've done all tricks they say to do but none of them works, how could I make it work please?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4
Firstly, questions go in q&a, I'll ask for it to be moved for you. How did you install Hangouts? Was it a restored backup from Titanium or an install from Play Store?
Sent from my Evita
@timmaaa It was a play store installation before I changed Rom to cleanrom 6.5 then I restored from a titanium backup
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4
I've had issues with Hangouts after restoring a backup. Try uninstalling the app and installing it from Play Store.

@timmaaa just did, same thing
