Bluetooth toggle in notifications window - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Do any of the current ROMS incorporate this feature?
It's obviously not a huge pain to just hit settings, and then disable/enable bluetooth... but I thought it would be handy to have in the notifications window as well.

cm7 lockscreen bluetooth gesture

How can I create a lockscreen gesture to toggle bluetooth on/off? I ca create a gesture to take me to the bluetooth settings but I just want to be able to toggle it on/off from the lockscreen.
Am I blind or is the option not obvious.

Click to collapse
I just did some playing around and couldn't seem to find a way to do this either. However, now you've piqued my interest as this would be an awesome thing to be able to do lol
*bump* for anyone that knows how to do this for cm7...
There are a few ways that this could be possible..if I could figure out if there is a way to do them in cm7:
1. Like op suggested, gesture to toggle bluetooth
2. Give access to notification bar on lockscreen so you can toggle on the power control widgets
3. Be able to install a toggle widget on the lockscreen
I know that 2 and 3 are doable with widgetlocker but i'd like to find some intrinsic/native way of cm7 to do it...
If anyone knows any of these methods...please let us know...
It's been a while, have you found any way to do it?
I can think of a silly way.
1. Create 2 apps for enabling and disabling BT.
2. Run each app from home screen with different gistures
What i could find is this.
Gesture to go directly to bluetooth settings. Enable or disable there.
Lockscreen gesture lets you choose a shortcut as the target of the gesture. I have created an app called "Toggle Settings" which exposes toggling Bluetooth and WiFi as system shortcuts. So you install this app and then when setting up the gesture choose shortcut and then choose "Toggle Settings" and choose WiFi or Bluetooth. Potentially other toggleable settings could be added too. you can download it from here: goo.gl/0b6sj

Popup or peek notifications

Hi there
I'm searching the settings for the popup (or peek) notifications.
That means, when I'm using the phone and for example a mails is incoming I would like to see a preview of the notification, not just an icon in the statusbar
Where do you have to enable this?
thanks
This should be enabled by default. Ensure do not disturb isn't enabled.
Unfortunately that doesn't work. At least no with gmail. It works with calendar events.
Do not disturb is not enabled and I rebooted the phone
Edit: i found the setting. Missed something, thanks!

disable/enable multiple apps nofitications at once (i.e. toggle "work mode")

disable/enable multiple apps nofitications at once (i.e. toggle "work mode")
Hi there,
I want to use the my samsung s9 for work and private so for the past hour I was trying to find out how to toggle (enable/disable) notifications for multiple apps. In the end of the (work-)day I want to flip a switch and all notifications for work-related apps will mute.
I could possibly do it with the dnd-mode where I could configure all the apps I still want to notificate me to ignore dnd but thats a lot of work and basically the opposite of the intented use of dnd. Also I guess I would be able to do it with the android enterprise work profile feature, but that's not free and I'm not a corporation...
Does anybody know of a way to achieve that?
Thanks in advance.

Looking for app that enable/disable group of notifications

I have 2 different jobs and have 3 different apps in my phone that I use for each work (so total 6 apps).
What I want to do is toggle between the notifications here.
Example when I start workA I want to enable notifications for appA+appB+appC while silent notification sounds (still keep bar icon) for appD+appE+appF
and when I start workB I want the opposite to be done. Receive sound+vibration for appD+appE+appF while silent notifications (still receive notification bar icon) for appA+appB+appC
And when I logout or I am on holiday I want to silent notifications for both jobs.
Is there any app out there that lets me toggle between multiple custom notification quick and easy?
As it is now I have to go to android settings and make 6 different settings all the time.

Quick panel shortcut to disable notifications

Is there a 3rd party app perhaps that lets you add a custom Quick panel shortcut to disable/enable notifications from either a certain/multiple/all apps? Something like "Do not disturb" except it doesn't turn your phone into silent mode, it just turns off the text notification/s. Like if I receive an email, the Gmail icon would still show a +1 counter or even trigger the new email sound, but I wouldn't receive any notification at the top of my screen. Like if I'm showing my photo gallery to a friend, I don't want a random email or SMS or whatever from whomever to pop up and my friend sees it - it's none of their business. I know I can also go manually into Settings, Apps & turn Notifications off completely for specific apps, but I just want a quick 1 tap shortcut like I have for "Do not disturb" mode and also not disable them completely, but just the text notification at the top.
