Placeholder for Epic 4G accessories!!
Sorry to say that the placeholder may stay as a place holder. Epic is a slider and it took a while to get cases for the moment. USB and HDMI cables are the same between EVO and Epic. There usually isn't a lot of accessories for Samsung smartphones.
HDMI cable is different as the Samsung connects through microUSB instead of microHDMI. Ill probably post a how-to on Lego dock building.

I'm looking to use my Epic with a portable DAC/amp, the Fiio E7. For that, I need a line out dock (LOD) cable. The only line out cables that I see are iPod/iPhone ones.
Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm also looking for a line out dock solution for samsung epic. It employs a Wolfson DAC of high quality. If some one comes out with a solution it will be awesome.
Anyone with a Car dock with ICS or Gb or w/e. Can you tell me how the sound plays from the dock? Would really appreciate it.
we don't know anything about docks here, our only experience is with car dicks

Yea I saw that. Poor guy got flamed and trolled so hard. But for real, does the audio part work or do I have to do some dremel fun?

I have a car dock. It's pretty much always worked for me. Works on AOKP....
When I was using TSM Ressurection, I had to use the stock Car Dock app(Root Explorer is your friend) and touch the mic symbol in the upper right hand corner to get sound through the dock. On AOKP it just works. Hope you don't use speaker phone though...
Why does speaker phone not work on this? On AOKP that is, does it work with bluetooth mic?
So I got the car dock today. Here is my improptu review
pros:
Awesome that it charges (with caveat) and has audio (with caveat)
Pretty secure once you tighten it
Sounds really really good, even seems like it has an amp in it
Over all, I am glad I bought it for 17 dollars
Cons:
Seems like it requires the dock redirect from the market, no biggie. Works on AOKP build 31
It charges it, but it doesnt pick it up that it is charging, no biggie.
Be careful with it, it seems slightly weak, but I have not mounted it yet in my car because right now its in the shop and my dad and I had to tear out the dashboard to replace an AC part
good to hear. got subs and an amp, and replaced my speaker system and stereo head in my car. I'll probably get a desk and car dock soon. dat bassss

Ditto, I have not tested the audio feature with my car cause as I said it is taken apart right now.
I got a 16 sub in the back, 10's in the back, 6's on the doors at tweeters up front.

My dad works at Lexus, and one of his coworker is obsessed with cars and he sold me his amp that he had. It has two 15 amp breakers, I forget what brand or model is. Too bad it only supports one sub . But I'd need two batteries for that then haha.

Any reasons this would not work on i9000:
Wireless Charger Receiver Coil from i9300:

A few wires to connect it to the USB potr + fitting in under back cover (or just use a extended battery cover).
Anybody tried this yet? It looks really cool & useful
Look nice but i think it's not worth spending money on wireless charging.
Somewhere in the development forums there's a thread on how to get wireless charging working on the S

Wireless charger for i9000 works?
would love to try if it was available to buy.
trying one myself though is a different story.
if this would be tested by other users and make an easy-noob tutorial, maybe we could try..
hehe..
or better yet i'll buy this if available commercially..

Really interesting, thanks!
I don't want to "burn" my device. It has to be working. After producer's warranty we can try .
Give me an anderoid tablet with WiFi bluetooth GPS 3G SD card slot and mhl enabled USB. Front and rear facing camera. And a quality processor, screen, and battery. Then get me an ultra durable case/keyboard accessory and I'll pay whatever you want because it's the whole package. Until then I'll keep saveing my money. Why do they keep leaving sd card slot out of all the best tablets? And how come ipad is the only one with an amazingly durable keyboard/case accessory? Is this an excercise of planned obsolescence?
