i have checked that, but there is no Folder name 'Favorites'... Sorry for my bad... Can you give me a little more details

Those instructions were for ES File Explorer. "Favorites" isn't a folder, it's a menu in ES File Explorer.
The external sd is mounted at /mnt/emmc .

emmc folder dear

Beats me. /mnt/emmc is the external sd in ICS roms. Maybe put something in there, and it won't be empty.

I am grabbing the wallpapers as we speak.
EDIT: The wallpapers are already located in the Market - Click to view
As per the "same" ringtones, this happens sometimes with me too even when loading other ringtones on my evo. Try wipe cache and reboot and try again. After a while if there were dupes they go away, and everything goes back to normal.
Awesome! Since my Evo and Xoom are now good buddies, this will help them to become even closer. Thanks
haha yup. EVO & XOOM love ;-)
glad ya like them ;P

I'm using ES file explorer and when I try to extract to that path it says I have to extract to the SD card. Any ideas why or should I use a better file manager?

ES File Manager does not allow you to go to anything prior than /sdcard i believe.
Root Explorer (for root users) allows you to get into those system folders.
Are you rooted?
Cool I'll get Root Explorer from the market. Thanks.
I'm rooted by the way.

2. Copy apk from app to /system/app
3. Copy files from lib folder to /system/lib
Method 2:
1. Extract all files in a folder (i use winrar; hence extract to <folder name>)

It'll will FC if there are no lib files or not copied properly, try again by mounting your system directory and copy them again(using Root Explorer) or use adb to push the files.
That's working fine for me. Thanks dude.

If you unzip the rom package and go under system/apps/ there is an apk file in there called swagpapers.apk . I believe that is the wallpaper package. All you would need to do is copy that .apk file and then paste it in system/apps/ for any rom you want to use them in.

You shouldnt have to mess around with the permissions..
If placing it in the system/app folder, you will need to edit permissions...

Im assuming you mean if your transferring from SD card? I unzip the ROM, past the apk in the folder and rezip and sign the ROM... So i dont have to change any permissions.

You can't install system apps from Internal/External SD card. You would have to drag and drop it under system/apparently and set the permissions.

OK... Then im confused... Because when i drag and drop it and rezip and resign the ROM, thats all i have to do... I definitely do not change permissions and have no issues...
I believe the term for this is Beating a dead horse.

Setting permissions only applys to an installed ROM. Perhaps a person has trouble on the latest update with the browser apk of your ROM, he then would just rip out the browser apk from the previous release. And throw it in with the correct permissions (from previous), to see if it fixed any issues.

Here's a better way:
Use an app like "App Backup & Restore" from the Playstore. It will copy the apks to a folder on your SD card. You can then use a File Explorer to send those apks via Bluetooth. :good:
Try finding it in CM file manager.
I hope you find it!

All your app's installed and linked using Link2SD are saved into your second partition you created as fake internal ram. This second partition is either EXT2 or EXT3, Linux format.
