Ladies & Gentlemen welcome to Starship Triumph. A CM7 based Rom built from Source using G60 final as a base. Heavily Tweaked and designed to be lite-weight, fast and efficient like any good Starship should.
THANKS
The usual cast of characters, Tickerguy, isaacj87, mantera, ziggy46, Austrie, Whyzor, Mobstergunz, b_randon14, Jaay Dogg, sblood86 from the Kindle forums and of curse the Madman G60.
Tweaks & Features
Faster GPS fix
Different set of Minfree Values so it will run a couple less apps in the background,
Made sure all base system stuff like Phone,Messaging,Settings and Launcher & what not get top priority,
Modified a few buffer sizes,
Increased scrolling speed just a bit,
increased image quality
Decreased outgoing call pause duration,
A few battery saving tricks like wifi will scan for a network every 180 seconds instead of 90.
Almost forgot, is Themed out the wazoo!
Issues (Slandered expected Triumph CM7 issues)
HDMI does not work (Maybe one day but until that day I say its worth the trade.)
BT or Wi-Fi enabled will prevent deep sleep mode. (Toggle, Toggle, Toggle)
Some videos in portrait mode flickers.
Instructions
1, Download and place zip on SD-Card.
2, Boot into Recovery,
3, select "wipe data/factory reset",
4, Under "Mounts and storage" select "format /system",
5, Under "advanced" select "wipe Dalvik cache",

8, select "Starship_Triumph.zip" from the available list of files,
9, select "yes install Starship_Triumph.zip",

Thanks have been putting together an arsenal of images over the last few months and fitting them together like a jigsaw puzzle. Was so happy with the way things had come together almost sent you a zip to check out late Saturday night. One thing I’m thinking about changing is reversing the star button on the dialer. Think things would look more symmetrical. Going with the transparent dialer buttons had been a last minute decision, did not look out of place when they had been solid. Otherwise probably not as noticeable had I not just pointed it out.
Downloading now ;-)
Dam XDA just sent me a happy birthday email, nothing yet from the other hang out who will not be named.
ROM has been fantastic so far. Very fluid and battery life is way up from the TickerGuy ROM I used to run on my fiancee's Triumph. As of 1.3 the camera still force closes on me when I try to use any functionality in it (like its freezing on open but not force closing until I push a button in the app). Using another camera app like Pudding Camera works just fine.

Just out of curiosity had you been on a previous version of CM7 or Starship before flashing v1.3? If so clearing the App data in the Application settings and wiping Caches may help with the Camera. I haven't had any issues with a clean flash but will restore a backup and then test coming from the previous version and ran into issues doing the above fixed. Also I am a big fan of formatting /system before flashing. Sorry I don't know if this is the case with the above issue but figured I would cover all basis.
Hey Chairshot! Yes I was coming from a previous version of CM7 but I went the fresh install method and went by your directions (Wiped everything out and started from scratch). I was hoping that would work as well! abut unfortunately it hasn't. It did this on a previous CM7 ROM as well. As with the previous ROM, video sources, like Skype, work just fine with the Front facing camera.
Hey not sure what wrong try twice to install went thru all the steps but after reboot stuck at red logo
Would either try doing a full wipe or downloading the .zip again if you had already. Just posted a new .zip so would be a good reason for downloading again. Otherwise the previous .zip was downloaded about 150 times and am pretty sure I would have gotten an ear full had it not booted so one of the above 2 things should work.
Just in general wanted to post this about how to check the MD5. Will let you know if even a single bit is different then the original file. A good thing to get in the habit of doing before flashing, could save some potential grief down the line.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1135620
There is also an App on the Market that can be used to check the MD5 on the phone.

This is correct but still something else is going on because I can verify it boots and again has been flashed many many times by other users without issue. When flashing the .zip in Clockwork are you seeing the progress bar and text on the screen indicating that the package is being installed? Also are you doing a full wipe or coming from another version of Starship or CM7? make sure If coming from another CM7 or any other Rom you will definitely %100 need to wipe data /factory reset. Lastly are you still trying to flash the same .zip or have you download a new copy?? Would recommend not downloading it from your Phone, they always seem to have issues. Other then that I am not sure what else I can suggest as it is definitely not an issue with the Rom. Currently at my Moms trying to clean out her Virus infected computer and even on her Virus infected computer I just downloaded the .zip and it flashed perfectly fine.
Hey and thanks ,yes did see the progress bar but it loads to fast did after reboot noting happens that ok went back to the rom i had before thanks again .

The DX 1.2.1 has been pulled. Development has been delayed for the time being.
I am not blaming testers at all. I have been missed plenty of stuff testing. I am still laughing at myself dropping the D2 build into the DX media folder It is just crap that happens when building this stuff. I do not want to waste any of your time either. It must suck to download a ROM, install it and then be told there was a bug and you should not run it...
Plus it makes our work look bad and that is the last thing any of us want when we are striving for high quality ROMs.
Update: I could not just give up...worked through night. DX issue solved.
HotFix:
D2 1.2.1 - Download HERE - This will update your build to 1.2.1
DX 1.2.1 - Download HERE - This will update your build to 1.2.1
If you are coming from the 1.2.1 test file from IRC then still install this update file since it will remove items that did not make it to final build (Nexus One Livewallpapers that were not working)
Full 1.2.1 ROMs are listed bleow.
Changelog is listed below.
No need to wipe for update file. No need to wipe if AND ONLY IF you are coming from 1.1, 1.2 and upgrading to 1.2.1. You MUST wipe if coming from any other ROM.
D2/DX - HotFix for data still functioning when custom battery manager is used to turn off data during certain times. Download HERE. Install from recovery as any other update. Just mount system, do not wipe and select the zip file for update.

Changelog:
1.2 -> 1.2.1
Cleaned up Add_On folder. Removed items that would not work with this ROM, added Live Wallpaper packages.
Added Network location (AGPS) pop ups. Will pop up when permission is needed. It is working in ROM but the option is not in settings.
Data Manager fix now included. Fixed issue when setting custom battery manager profile but data was still on during off hours.
Few changes to build.prop.
Added transparent status bar pull down curtain.
1.1 -> 1.2
Addressed Superuser issue - Not sure if it is fixed for some users.
DX Build now has FroYo Android Keyboard stock - Install DX Multi-Touch in add_on folder if you prefer.
Addressed USB issue - Not sure if it is fixed for some users.
Added ability to overclock from shell. Open terminal (download from market) and type in proper commands.
Improved boot animation. Now with hi-res graphics.
Updated install script for ROM.
DX Build - Fixed displayed version info in about phone.
Add Ons have been fixed so all zip files should install fine.
More cleaning of code...
Not part of the release but I updated darkonion's one click root method. It is now an EXE file. Will fix all broken root issues, update you to latest version of Superuser and install the APK properly in data/app so any future update from market should not cause problems.
About ROM:
First Vanilla ROM for Droid2, DroidX & Droid2 WE!
First ROM for Droid2, DroidX & Droid2 WE that can be overlocked!
This is not an AOSP ROM but all stock packages are built from source. It is a complete set of vanilla Android applications. All Blur has been removed so it is the closest you will get to a true AOSP clean ROM for the Droid2/X/WE/Pro right now. This is not a themed ROM to make it look like AOSP ROM.
The purpose of this ROM was to remove all Blur and have a real Android experience. Please do not ask to add anything to ROM. Everything that is missing can be found in the Add On folder that was created when you installed ROM or can be downloaded from market.
The installed applications are all of your basic Android apps. Gmail, Voice Search, Car Home, YouTube and some other apps are missing since there are more updated versions on the market.
ROM has root, deodexed, busybox and zip alligned.

Donations:
We do not have a DX to fully test ourselves yet so donating to project will help us obtain one. We would also like to obtain future devices such as the Droid Pro, Droid2 World Edition and whatever else may come down the pipe that we can port this ROM too. Your help will allow us to do that. If you would like to contribute to our project you may do so by clicking HERE

Great Stuff! no issues so far... can't wait for you to port some of CyanogenMOD's hacks.
EDIT: found one issue, car home won't launch. But easily fixed by downloading Car Home from Market.

The launcher was left in but the apk file removed. This was done so there was no issue from downloading from market.
If you remove both files then you can not download from market
is there anyway you could add an option for the D2 dock screen or even the D1's original dock screen?

Isn't the dock screen the D1 original?
I do not think the D2 one works. Have not tested it yet but I will. You can always add them yourself by using root explorer to place the APK in system/app and then setting correct permission.
New hot fix is now posted. Cures data still being active when a custom profile is used in battery mananger.
The link is in the first post under the hot fix section.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS for CM7EX_l33t:
Are you coming from CM7EXv10?
-if yes:
.........FLASH l33t ROM,reboot
.........FLASH BATTERY MOD,reboot. Easy-peasy.
if no:
........Nandroid your current setup, and backup your apps with appbrain or titanium
........Flash the 's_FORMAT_ALL.zip (attached), wipe data, cache, and dalvik-cache
........Flash rom (CM7EXv10)/reboot. Then boot into recovery
........Flash gapps/reboot. Then boot into recovery and do the "if yes".
*****Many of you have been having issues with the notification bar not appearing on the new ROM. I have found a viable issue for it.
If you haven't yet flashed the l33t version and are currently on v10, then it's easier for you. Install the attached adw ex launcher (if you don't have it already, google it/market buy it) and make sure notification bar is showing in the settings. Then follow the directions to install the l33t ROM.
If you are on l33t and don't have them, hopefully you have a nandroid for v10. If you do, restore backup and follow the instructions in the paragraph above. If not, wipe everything, flash v10, install adw ex, then do paragraph above's solution.*****
NOTE: If you NEED help with the ROM, just wanna talk about the ROM, or want to contribute to the ROM, go here, or join the chatroom. You can get to the chatroom by using a client like Xchat, Mirc, ect. If you dont have a client and want to use mibbit here is the link.

another quick ? will the files be changed since we are essentially renaming the zip (ex.BATTERY_GB.v10.zip-signed) and it gets changed to BATTERY_GB.v10-signed.zip as that i am aware i would not be able to flash with out it being a .zip file ?
Edit: NVM You Beat me to it
This ROM is beautiful. The screen off animation makes me jizz my pants.

Yah, no go for me with GPS as well. The funny thing is, when I first installed Ex10 gps worked! I was so happy. Played with it all night. Then latter in the day (today) after I got things all setup gps stopped working..... I flashed like 5 times trying to get it to work again, no dice.
UPDATE: My GPS now works because of this:
You will need:
1. A 'sense' ROM currently running on your phone (I had Fresh 3.5.1)
2. MSL reader installed (get it from the market)
2. Have CM7 (build 17 worked for me) and the latest gapps (I used the ones from 2011-01-15) downloaded to your SD card
Steps:
1. Open MSL reader and get your MSL (jot it down)
2. Launch phone dialer and dial ##GPSCLRX#
3. It will ask you for your MSL, enter it.
4. Upon hitting OK, your phone will just say reboot in 10 secs, let it reboot.
Phew!
5. After it has rebooted, boot to recovery (i used clockworkmod 2.6.0.1)
6. Nandroid backup (if you are so inclined)
7. Wipe cache, Dalvik and then wipe data/factory reset
4. Flash CM7 b17 from your sd-card
9. Flash gapps
10. Reboot and walk through set-up. Your gapps will be downloaded from the market. Wait for all the downloads to complete.
11. Use GPS as normal and enjoy the GPS goodness!
Please note I did not write this, I'm just helpN to spread the goods!

Him hit a boot loop I guess. Flashed rom, reboot, loads then reboot into recovery, flash mod (VVM, HTC music) and now cyanogen (mod) keeps glashing on my screen. Any ideas what I did wrong?
Sorry guys. The all in one zip at the bottom of post three isn't compatible, just found out.. sorry for any trouble this caused you guys. Ragnarok is working on it.
To fix the bootloops, do a battery pull or hold volume up + volume down + power until reboot, then boot into bootloader by holding down volume down. Navigate to recovery and re-flash the ROM.

Yea the battery mod keeps kicking out an error at UOT as well. I tried to lad it earler and kept getting bootloops as well. OH well will wait for a fix
After flashing this ROM, I flashed the Gapps. Rebooted and now I'm stock where it says "touch the android to begin". I did it and nothing happens...
Well wiping fixed my problem with com.android.phone crashing. Everything is running well except Pocket Legends still doesn't work.

All of my Rom's from this point forward will be Voodoo enhanced. Which means, if you do not have a voodoo kernel now, it will take a few minutes to first boot up.

Install Instructions For Green ClockWork and Modified Recovery 3e:
The install instructions are for phones that have been rooted and have the proper recovery installed. If you are not sure or don't please goto the main forum and download the proper sources.
Also, a word of advice to the in-experienced. It is best to install a ROM with a battery that has been fully charged. Otherwise you are going to have to WIPE the battery stats. If you flash a rom and it seems like your battery is "off", I assure you , that is most likely the problem. Plus it takes at least 72 hours to get an accurate reading.
1.) If you are in windows , make sure you have the proper drivers installed. If you don't have them , google it.
2.)Plug USB cord in and allow it to Mount USB Storage. Copy the ROM(a.ka install zip) to the SDCARD.
3.) If you are on another rom that has the Extended Power Menu, hold the power button down and choose "Recovery" from the menu. Otherwise, open up Rommanager and reboot into recovery.
4.)If you get the original 3e recovery, choose "Reinstall Packages" .
5.) When you finally get to the Clock Work Recovery screen, you can choose to wipe your data. Otherwise proceed to step 6.
6.) Choose install zip from sdcard, choose the zip file and choose yes to install.
7.) The most IMPORTANT THING THAT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH. AFTER YOU INSTALL THE ROM, OR ANY OTHER ROM, REBOOT AND LET THE PHONE SIT FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES.
8.) If you are having issues, it might be due to not wiping then entire phone. Sometimes it is best to wipe DATA, CACHE , DBDATA and SYSTEM. But CAUTION, you will lose your apps , so please make a backup first.
9.) Enjoy and send me lots of thanks or money
Install Instructions For Voodoo Recovery:
1.) Copy file to your SDCARD. ( either mount via USB or push via ADB)
2.)Reboot into Recovery. From the power menu(hold power for 2 seconds), choose Recovery. Or poweroff the phone by holding the power button for at least 10 seconds, then hold the power button + volume up and volume down all at the same time. Or if you have the drivers installed and the android-sdk, adb reboot recovery works wonders.
3.)Once in the RED RECOVERY, choose install zip from
SDCARD.
4.)Choose your zip, install and Reboot.
5.)Wait at least 15 minutes before playing, let it settle. Build the Dalvick Cache.
It was just re-born, it needs a moment to take all the greatness in. Like NEO coming out of the matrix for the first time.
6.) Send thanks
And if you are having problems , please try to get me a logcat. Also I am available on IRC at the #INFUSE4G or #teamwhiskey on irc.freenode.net. And you can also contact me VIA private messages.

The Camera Program from UCK3 had a sensor issue, it would constantly run eating your battery. Also the front facing camera , like GTG's will force close if you take a picture . We are working on it
so which one did you include? the one from UCKE5? or other?
What is the difference between using the voodoo kernel included with this ROM and a voodoo kernel from infused 1.3?
None, they are both the same. I have noticed sometimes when you install it over each other things get odd. The reason why I asked for people who already have to install the ROM with outis because of that.

He's saying use that other download link if you already have it because, obviously, you don't need it. I'd imagine there is no difference between the kernels since gtg was involved with it.

Welcome to the "Energy" ROM collection thread !
This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the HTC Sensation device. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look. I accomplish that by theming the original HTC ROMs and replacing the green with a dark, electric blue.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Stability through private beta testing before public release
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
Now on to the good stuff...
(You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter)
How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install a custom recovery
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #3
- Make sure to do a Factory Reset / Wipe before installing ROM

Quickies
- For some of the operations below, e.g. Q23 etc, you will need a root explorer. A good one is ES File Explorer, included in the rom. You will need to check root access in settings and mount system for it to work.
- The first boot after flashing a rom takes longer (can take up to 10 mins as well). The boot takes longer also when you wipe dalvik cache.
- Incase you have missing widgets, wipe data and cache for HTC sense. Thanks to guptadh for the great advise.
- FOR ICS: If you are have sense FC, check to see if you have apps on teh SD card. Move them to phone. ICS doesn't seem to like apps on the SD card.
General rule of thumb before flashing:
- Unless specified, you don't need to Superwipe.
- However, before flashing, boot to recovery - wipe cache. Advanced - wipe dalvik. Now flash the new NRGZ Rom.
- Problems? Goto Settings - applications - HTC Sense - Wipe Data
- Still problems? Superwipe, as explained in FAQ 10.
Current Version - NRGZ June 24th - ICS!!! .Taketwo
(MD5 4355ae6ebe0b82006631135818513583)
- SuperWipe not necessary.
- Custom Kernel: Please use it at your own risk. More than likely you will face random issues. A dependable custom kernel for the Sense 3.5 is a WIP.
- Volume wake up Mod - Now included in Energy Tweaks!

Flashing ICS
Since the ICS ROM is coming up soon, it is highly recommended to read the following posts to get your self ready!
Do not do this till the ROM is ready and you are ready to flash the ICS rom
1. How to go about flashing ICS?
2. Known ICS Problems.
3. Going back to GB.
In my experience, if you are dead sure to go ahead with ICS, regardless certain bugs (assuming you are superCIDed - look at Step 4, post 1.)
1. Download the Firmware from 3.24.401.1 & 3.25.401.101 RUU from here. As per the post by viperd, you may not be able to revert back to GB if you flash FW 3.24.
2. Download the Energy ROM (when available).
3. Do a Nandroid backup of your current ROM.
4. Place Superwipe, ROM and the PG58 file on the SD Card. The PG58 file needs to be on the root folder of the SD card.
5. Boot into bootoloader and let it update, it will turn the screen off in between, don't worry, its updating.
NOTE: When the screen turns off during the firmware update that it is not finished updating yet. The screen will come back on and continue updating, so first wait for the message that the update was completed. Also check in bootloader that the hboot and radio were both updated. A few problems were the hboot is updated but not the radio and this will then cause a bootloop when flashing the rom. Hboot should read 1.27.1100 and radio 11.21.3504.13_2.
6. Once updated, remove the battery, pull out the SD card - stick it on to your laptop and delete the PG file from it.
7. Put the SD Card back on and boot into the bootloader (Vol down + power) and then to recovery.
8. Superwipe, Q10 below. (Do this only once, while coming from GB to ICS for the first time.. thereafter, only when NRGZ explicitily mentions)
9. Flash the rom.
10. Watch the phone as it boots .
Another simple tutorial by JaxChris.

F.A.Q
Q1: How do I flash this ROM?
A: Assuming you have S-Off, and have installed recovery – Reboot the phone into recovery (Vol Down + Power [In power off mode] and select recovery. Select “Install with Zip from SD Card” – Select the ROM from your SD and press power – Confirm and you are good to go.
Q2. Huh?? What is S-OFF or Recovery?
A: A detailed explanation on how to is here.
Q3: Which radio should I use?
A: This is a trick question. According to many users over the years, they have recommended to change the radio only if you are facing troubles with the current one that you are using. Radio is a very very very location specific thing. So, what works for me, may not work for you. Here is a good thread discussing radios ad their performance.
Q4: Is the radio included in the ROM? How do I flash?
A: No, you will need to flash the radio separately.
A: Easiest steps to flash a radio is (assuming you have sdk and HTC Drivers and are SOFF)
- Put the radio.img in the folder where fastboot is under sdk\tools
- Turn off your phone and and reboot into Bootloader and select fastboot, connect the phone to the pc - now you show see Fastboot USB on the phone.
- Goto command prompt on your pc. Goto the folder with Fastboot.
- Type fastboot flash radio radio.img and watch it write the new radio.
A: If the file is named PG58IMG.ZIP, then simply copy it to the root folder of the sd card and reboot into bootloader and follow instructions on the phone screen.
Read about radios and RILs here
Q5: Right or recommended order of flashing?
A: Wipe>ROM>Reboot> Radio.
Q6: Should I use a task killer on the ROM?
A: Check this and decide for yourself.
Q7: Backup? What is that?
A: A good idea is to back up all your data and settings from the phone before flashing a new rom with a full wipe. Best app available is Titanium Back up (included in the ROM)
The best way to back up the contacts is to sync it via HTC Sync or via your gmail.
Q8: Is Nandroid and Titanium backup the same thing? How do I manage backups?
A: No, Nandroid backs up the ROM and Titanium backs up the applications. Nandroid is what you do using the recovery and it makes the exact image of your ROM along with the data.
Q9: On what occasion will I lose my data (apps, contacts etc)?
A: Only when you apply the full wipe or the super wipe. When you just flash a rom or a .zip from recovery, it will not wipe anything unless otherwise mentioned. Generally, Android Chefs do not include the full wipe script in their ROMS.
Q10: I was on stock (or another rom from another cook) and I flashed NRGZ ROM, now I am having some problems.
A:
1. Try rebooting the Phone and see if it makes a difference.
2. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik, reboot the phone and clear data of the apps causing problem.
3. If nothing else works, “SUPERWIPE”. Beware: A superwipe/ full wipe will erase EVERYTHING on the phone. EVERYTHING! So, be sure to backup what you want.
Q11: How do I flash Superwipe and what does it erase?
A: Copy the .zip to the SD Card and flash it via recovery. DO NOT REBOOT once it is done, flash the ROM straightafter. Superwipe will erase data, cache, system, boot and system files on SD card (EXT4 format).
Q12: The screen is not very responsive and is lagging.
A: Let the phone settle down a bit after you unlock it. It generally needs a few seconds to kick up the CPU. Some discussions on the screen responsiveness and a market app here.
Q13: The market is not installing anything. Gives error.
A: Reboot into recovery and select “clear cache partition”. And under settings - applications - Manage applications - under the Market app < Clear Data>.
Q14: I don’t like the CRT on and off animations, what can I do to disable these?
A: Install the patch from the post above.
Q15: My battery is draining heavily
.
A: When you first flash a ROM this is what happens. Give it atleast one full charge cycle and it should come back to normal. If required, reboot into recovery and clear battery stats. It is advisable to do so on 100% charge. Here is the battery calibration app from the market.
Common Opinion - Heavy battery drain is one thing that you cannot complain about on this rom, for sure. The battery life is much above average
Q16: Should I run the phone battery to zero percent, and what if it does??
A: Absolutely not! Both the current recoveries are giving problems while pulling the battery up from zero percent. If the phones dies off due to battery being zero, look here, might help. The new recovery from ROM Manager claims to have fixed the charging issue.
Q18: MMS Problem?
A: Please check your APN settings. Or try the patch from here. Also worth checking out Shroomster's post.
Q19: Some games that use the motion/G sensor are not working as they should.
A: Re-Calibrate your Gsensor –> Settings – Display – Gsensor Callibration
Q21: What about Wifi Printing?
A: NRGZ released the APK's here.
Q22: I dont like the animations. Dont want them.
A: Go to settings - display - animations. Or go to Spare parts and disable all animations.
Q24: How do I change the bootanimation or the downanimation?
A: System\Customize\Resource again. Replace the bootanimation.zip file with the one you want. The new file must be named bootanimation.zip/downanimation.zip.
Q25: Can I modify frequencies using SetCPU?
A: Avoid set cpu at this stage. It is causing much troubles. The app needs to be updated for dual core usage.
Q26: GPS Problems?
A: Try faster fix app from the market. Has helped a few members.
Q27: I am having difficulties assigning ringtones from my SD card on the 3.5 sense.
A: Go to contact, select ringtone. Select ADD where it shows a list of system ringtone - Now it should take you to your music and tones on the SD card. Select the one that you want and click OK. Back on the system ringtones, scroll to find the newly added tone and select it.
Q28: The search capacitive button does nothing, only on press and hold I get menu to select from. I want the normal search action.
A: Download and install the Google Search from the market.
(Fixed in Oct 3 Rom)
Q29: WiFi turning on randomly, can't find "Install unknown sources checkbox", found a typo somewhere on a screen.
A: Use this ICS OTA patch that fixes those issues.

Guess I'll check the build prop too see if it's T-Mobile's version. I hope this is compatible with Unity7 kernel, or else I'd just have to go stock lol. Looking forward to flashing this. I'll feel even better if this is T-Mobile's 2.3.4, looks like it would be since I see the 4G in the status bar. Looks great though....can't wait to flash

Probably the 2.2.0169 RIL since it's a 2.3.4 based ROM. It works good on TMO users....

Welcome, This is My first page Photon OS ROM I uploaded, These ROM are based on Liberty ROMs. I modified it to work on HTC HD Mini Phones (Photon). This has Multi Languages support, It's Fast and smooth ROM for HTC HD Mini.
Most Things are working.
Known problems:
- Audio is Mono, means it doesn't have Stereo (Left & Right) Audio.
- Audio via Car's Bluetooth for Calling doesn't work only, but it's activated.
- Video Capture Recording doesn't stop, freezing for seconds then quits unexpectedly.
- Video Player is buggy, it plays videos fine at 240p but higher quality and above not very well.
- Sometimes USB cable doesn't wake automatically until you unlock the screen, Checking the (Stay Awake) in Settings is recommended.
- with some small other bugs,
Note: You have two options about Wifi & GPS, (You should install it after Phonerty Installed at CWM Recovery)
1- if you want Wifi, you will have to choose +Wifi-Photon, this will make Wifi work normally. but you won't have GPS.
2- if you want GPS, you will have to choose +GPS-Photon, this will make GPS work, and Wifi will work But connecting to network by Wifi may cause your CPU Clock at 100%, surfing internet by this once will be okay for about hour. and after that you should Turn Off Wifi and Restart Android.
By default the ROM is set on +Wifi-Photon. save those +two files on SDCard.. and you can always choose whatever time you need it.
Tip: Some Devices may have audio issue while calling person, So just tap on Speaker Button two times while in Call.
With 3rd Party Apps, you can Record video by using Videocam illusion Pro, and for Radio you can use Spirit FM. or find another apps that works.
It's Better & Recommended to Partition your SDCard using CWM Recovery in Advanced menu (this will erase SDCard completely) & to have a lot of space for many reason. choose 1GB Size, and Swap size 32MB. or whatever you like to be. and then Install/Open app "Link2SD" to active your Second Partition ext3.
This is only for installing on NAND, SDCard test not available.
- Note: Backup your Important Files, This may erase your Photon's Partitions automatically, also it may delete the "Android" folder with ".android_secure" folders on SDCard if include.

Phonerty CM9.1 OS ROM
Google Apps
Download Google Apps for CM9:
GoogleAppsICS(ics-20120429).zip
For latest Google Apps (CyanogenMod Wiki)
ClockWorkMod Recovery
Download; Munjeni's CWM Recovery Boot (16 July 2012):
CWM LK Boot Recovery (16-July-2012).zip
- Beginning,
Instructions: first you need a good microSDHC to Install the ROM. Don’t try on damaged or bad microSDHCs.
Steps: (Skip steps 1 & 2 if you already installed Munjeni's CWM Recovery LK Boot)
1- Beginning, Extract the "LK Boot" to some where you like to begin, open folder and extract the "LK Boot Photonic SDCard.zip" and copy its files in "LK Boot Photonic SDCard" without folder to the Root of SDCard, also copy the Google Apps with CM9 Photon ROM to SDCard.
2- Installing Recovery, In the Phone WM6.5, Open Explorer and navigate to SDCard and touch at HaRET, or if you're on another CWM Recovery, Restart & in White HTC press & Hold Volume Down until you're in FastBoot Mode, You should be in Fast Boot Mode to Install Recovery both in WM6.5 or others, Connect the USB cable to the PC (it may ask you the Divers needed for the device) and the Drivers are in the folder in "LK Boot - Photon" in "Google Windows USB driver" folder. After that click on “Update.bat” and Install both of them, when it’s finished fine try reboot it.
3- Installing the CM9 ROM, On HTC Boot Screen White Press and hold “Up Volume” the phone until you see entered Recovery, So in Recovery *, Go to (Install from SDCARD), then (Choose zip from SDCard), and now you're on the microSDHC, so choose the (Phonerty ROM) and choose Yes- Install, Wait about Minutes and it should be done, and then reboot the Phone.
Remember to Install the Google Apps after the OS installation completed, or you can also reboot Android to come back to recovery by press & holding “up volume” phone’s on HTC Boot Screen and choose the "Install from SDCard" and then "Choose zip from SDCard" so choose the Google Apps to Install, done and reboot.
* Make sure that you Wipe your Phone & format manually the Boot, Cahe, System, Data, by Recovery. only be careful that you don't format your SDCard at Recovery time.
More info about Restoring/Installing: Schlund's Information Page for HTC HD Mini
"Finally, you're ready to go Android. Have a nice try.."
The ROM is based on (WinSuk's 5 November 2012 Liberty CM9.1 ROM)
Kernel Source is made by Munjeni and Derefas, Kernel Link, or click this Link for more informations.
Themes,
As a Tip, Don't do that, only if you're tired of the CM9 theme or you've backed up Nicely.
You can simply Download the CM9's Themes on the Web. but it's not easy as MIUI, and at this stage it can be risky too (specially CM10 and above are risky), if you do wrong things, your phone may restart and wont reach android Boot... so you have to reinstall Android or the User knowledge knows to do. Do a backup before doing this, and if you lost your control on Android, your datas wont erase but you have to connect to computer and doing uneasy things.
All you have to do is active the Theme in CyanogenMod Theme chooser's Settings, And this a tested Theme by myself on my HTC HD Mini, iPhone Theme, Enjoy with Cyanogen Themes.
Soon I may add more Themes.

Like as I said as above: I edited it to work better on HTC HD Mini.
for example: Camera is Perfect both Preview and Save Image. also Camera360 works fine when you go to Camera360's Settings and check the Compatible Hardware Mode, it's Liberty Device, etc.

I'm stuck on the CM9 boot animation. I was running SCREAM CM7 before so I wiped the caches and formatted data, boot and system mounts but its still stuck on the boot animation. Been there for over 10 mins now.
Any ideas?
I am testing this rom yesterday. but I have a problem. I dont understand but I think this rom's battery life is not good. because I full charged the battery and I started to wait. last 8 hours I did not anything. no call no sms no internet no anymore. only open screenlock for the battery level control. now the battery level is 60%
I think munjeni's cm9 battery life is better than this rom
Found something in [email protected] commands for gps, but you need to try if it will enable gps! For this procedure you need to comunicate with radio!
Procedure is:
You need 2 window opened at same time. First window:
Code:
adb shell
stop rill-daemon
In seccond window:
Code:
adb shell
cat /dev/smd0 &
Back to first window again:
Code:
echo 'ATV1' >/dev/smd0
echo 'ATE1' >/dev/smd0
echo '[email protected]' >/dev/smd0
In seccond window you will see response from radio something like "start gps ok"... If gps message was ok, close seccond window and back to first window:
Code:
killall -9 cat
start rill-daemon
Close first window and... let me know if gps working! For info I have done new version for Aria and will upload it today to aria forum!
thank you I can not understand. I did it what you say .
result : I did not saw any message in second window from radio ?
I'm not sure I made the right
Ok, so its something liike not supported on photon

I'm still using schlund's CM7.2 and GPS works like a charm.
Maybe I can help with some logs, etc.?
Or CM9 is much different then CM7?
Sound got better since it's a consistent aria rom now? DSP working by any chance?

Hi munjeni,
I am new user of XDA Developers. I am not permitted to post in your thread or theard by iPlasm - new USER :-( .
I tried exchange gps files between ROM by iPlasm (YOUR modified ROM) and ROM - HTC HD MINI Sense 3.5.
Copy files from Sense 3.5 to iPlasm ROM: gps.conf, gps.goldfish.so, gps.liberty.so, gps.photon.so and libgps.so
Now, my phone see satellites. I tried navigation... OK! )))
I didn't want hack HD Mini Sense 3.5. Only try something to do.
I wrote similar message to iPlasm.
I hope that it is good for your and iPlasm develop.

Hi guys, This message was sent by new user that is not allowed to post in development forum, so he say he got gps working using these libs! These libs is from old SDK so I think there will be (maybe?) segfaults! After you replace libs, and if gps realy working you need to look in logcat to be surre that if there is not a problems!

Still hoping someone can help. I wondered if it might be my SD Card which is and 8 gb SD HC. Backed up all my data, formatted it, copied the ROM zips back and reflashed. On first boot, same story; I'm stuck in the boot animation. I'm running CWM 5.0.2.7 and I've repeatedly flashed CM7 ROMS so I don't think its a CWM issue.
Is there something I need to do prior to upgrading to CM7?
Any ideas at all?
sorry friends, I was too busy in this three days... anyway let me answer

draltus, before this three days, I fully charged to 100%, and after three days taken some pictures and battery percentage 13% at night, I can't get that even in WM6.5, so I don't know how was that with you.?

yes, he write to me also, and I will see it then upload new ROM it here.
another thing Munjeni, I tried your new Aria ROM [9 July 2012], but it stuck at the Boot screen, I can see the new Cyanogen Man Logo.
-----
ELdaArk, did you installed the new LK boot from munjeni?
I think maybe boot.img need to be repacked, or at least maybe not enought space for system? Try adb shell df and see how many free mb is in system partition!
