Does anybody have the OPS file for the Galaxy Tab 7 3100, I've heard the 5100 OPS file works for the device as well.

Why do u need the s file ? You can flash without ops file also

How do you flash a single package .tar.md5 file with ODIN without the OPS?
Just select the package in pda and flash. i have done all the updates like that.

That fails for me for some reason. The file I'm talking about is the official flash file from samfirmware. Have you tried those?

Hi everybody,
a friend of me owns a SG SL and he wants stockrom (normal) on Gingerbread.
I own a Galaxy Fit, I know how to flash via odin- but i downloaded a firmware on samfirmware.
I unrared it and found only one file- I9003XXKPH_I9003XXKPH_I9003SERKPH_HOME.tar
How I must flash it?

Hi!
Since u downloaded from sammobile.. well it's more likely that you set everything to standard and just click on PDA and choose the .tar file u downloaded then click start

Hello everyone.
I just want to mod a costum rom and i need system files of original samsung rom. But when i download a firmware from sammobile.com, it contains .tar.md5 file. I need .zip file like costum roms, so that i can use system folder for my costum rom. How can i find samsung's system folders to modify? Can anyone help me?

I'm using galaxy s2 and want to create costum rom which based on Samsung's official rom's. But i can only use .zip costum roms like CM9 etc. How can use samsung rom's for a base rom?
there is an APP called archidroid
this can extract .tar . If it say not supported rename the .tar.md5 to
.tar......
Now you have the extracted content.
Mod it and then ZIP it.(e.g. Wirth archidroid )

But if you already have a cyanogenmod port, use this as base Rom, its a lot easier.(just a recommendation)

Download the cwm ONLY for 4.2.2 (doesn't matter which version)
Click on pda on Odin and choose it. Start it and you'll get cwm. Then flash root zip which u can find in the thread for rooting 4.1.2. It's the same zip

Someone plz help me, I have tab 2 with Sensonic rc 1 rom. Every time i flash any zip file in recovery mode (philz recovery) it keep showing error plz upgrade to latest binary.

if you have superSU it does the work see that data connection is on
There's no superuser apk separately, its attached with ROM i am using and present in setting menu.Thank u very much for ur reply... Plz help me.

It does mean the update-binary inside the flashable ZIP is not up to date.

No need to replace it. If you like, you can take the update-binary from a KitKat build (ectract it from the Rom.zip) and replace inside your ZIP.

I have a rooted Samsung J7 with TWRP as recovery. I used SuperSU to remove root but I can't update the device. I guess I would have to flash Samsung recovery over twrp.
Question is how to get hold of Samsung recovery. Does it exist? Tia
