[Q] KingCobra Rom - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I like using the pattern unlock on my phone but dont like when I have to swipe the little icon first then do the pattern. Any way to make it so when I turn my phone on it goes straight to the pattern unlock?

[Q] unlock screen AND PIN unlock???

I was wondering if it was possible to set up the unlocking sequence for the phone so that I could do the normal unlock motion, and THEN proceed to typing in the PIN code to unlock the phone. As it stands, I can only have one option, not both. So it's either I have the unlock motion, without the security of a PIN, or I just go straight to the PIN after waking the phone. I'd like to have both options, if that makes sense
sorry forgot to mention, I'm running the Serendipity 5.12 ROM, if that helps.
I was wondering the same thing!

[Q] Disappearing Pattern Lockscreen?

I have a problem with my phone that I can't seem to find a solution for. Every single rom that I have flashed to my phone always ends up with a disappearing lockscreen. No matter what I choose, whether it is pattern unlock, pin unlock, etc eventually after maybe 2 or 3 unlocks and relocks the screen to enter the pattern or pin disappears and all I have left is an emergency call option at the bottom of the screen. And the only way to get it working (for a while) is to pull the battery. I properly wipe the phone before flashing but I haven't been able to stop it from happening.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Lollipop pattern lock quirk

So I noticed that in order to reach the pattern unlock, it requires an extra step and for me to slide up on the lock screen, in order to reach it. Not really a huge fan of this extra step. Any recommendations on how this can be changed to act as if it were the old way?
I attempted to turn off the lock screen notifications, and that was to no avail. ?
I've got the same question. It's an annoying quirk.
As a kinda solution I've been using smart lock and then face unlock. If my face is recognised, I only have to do the slide up. If it's not recognised, the device reverts to slide up followed by a pattern.
I prefer the old way, only the pattern.
I googled some more about getting rid of this slide first and on another forum someone stated:
"You can’t get rid of it. The slide is necessary because now the lockscreen is also the place where you see your notifications."

Lollipop + Face Unlock.........You're doing it wrong?!?!

So on 4.4.4 when I used face unlock I would get a circle to see my face and it would unlock the phone, if it was to dark for my face then the PIN pad would appear.
Now on 5.0.1 I get the PIN pad first with no area to see my face. I can hit the back nav button on the PIN screen and get to the unlock screen and if it had seen my face it unlocks, other wise its back to the PIN screen. Seems overly annoying compared to the way 4.4.4 ran facial unlock.
Am I doing something wrong??????
In lolipop it will try to see your face without anything appearing on the screen .. then if it successfully find your face, your device will be unlocked automatically
U can see face icon in the lock screen and if it successfully unlocked, u can pull the lock to unlock the device without entering the password
Correct but on 4.4.4 it required no screen interaction to unlock with my face. On 5.0.1 I still have to back out of the PIN screen and swipe up to unlock.
Homonyms... "your" doing in wrong.

[Q] One touch screen passcode lock

Hi guys,
Used this site many times being able to search for the solutions to any questions I have had until now.
Looking to have a app/widget that with one touch, passcode locks the phone with a predetermined passcode. Then the next time the phone is unlocked, it won't be passcode locked unless I hit the passcode lock icon. I tend to passcode lock my phone a lot and know there has to be a one touch solution out there that basically only locks the phone one time per lock activation. Hate going through the settings menu each time and putting in the code to turn on passcode lock and then putting in the code to remove passcode lock.
Anyone know of any apps?
Thanks!!!
