Which radio to choose? - HTC One S

What radio should I use for best WiFi

Thats a ridiculous question to ask.
You need to give more info, Your current radio version, Your location, Your ROM and so on...
generally speaking newer released radios have better signal strengths, But this isnt always the case.

What radio?

There are so many topics and discussions on this...is there one radio that is actually better than others based on my phone, location, and other things? I have the nexus s 3g on Tmobile in Ohio...thanks!

hmmm , i am not in USA, so i can not tell you which radio is better
but only someone who lives same location as you who can tell you , but OHIO is not small place ...
so , you should try it yourself, personal ideal , newest might be better , such as XXKF1 for me is better then others.
Is radio flashing done through Odin in the phone portion? Been thinking of doing this to try and find a more stable radio. Playing battlefield is impossible. My ping bounces around way too much. Wish it would stay at a steady 90.

Radio with ICS

Baseband 26.13.04.19_M on ICS 4.0.3 is my current setup.
Anyone have any recommendations yet as to what Radio yields the best results?

This topic, regardless of the ROM, has been covered more times then it should have. Radio results vary widely from user to user. What is best for one person is not the same for another. The best way to find what radio gives the best results would be to test them for yourself.
So you don't have any recommendations then?

My recommendation is to try them out...its nearly impossible to recommend a great overall radio since the results vary from user to user and location to location. 4.30 is the most result radio release I believe and from what I'm seeing with newer released ROMs this is the radio of choice but to be honest that's based on the RIL they cooked in and not so much based on the "best" radio out there since, like I've said, there is virtually no way to say which is the best. I've seen you've released a ROM, if 4.30 is the best radio you have, use that one...assuming you're running your own ROM..everyone else can either jump on board or try different radios out for themselves.

This thread will help you... Be really careful about flashing radio though... It can brick a device... I cant advice you on how to do it since its been along time i flash a radio.. its a combination of ril version and radio tgat can give better signal... This thread talk about best combination on each area... Whats best for the others might not be best for your location, the way to find out whats best for you, is to test it... Again, be really careful...

Telstra NextG radio

I have a Vodafone sourced HTC Sensation XE and I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best radio to use with it.
I've tried the latest radio from the 33 firmware and the radio from the 32 firmware and didn't notice any major difference.
Just thought I would put this out to the forum to see what others thought.
Thanks
P.S. I did try searching but it came up with no results
Radio performance depends on your geographical location. So its goin to be different for everyone. If you're gettin good reception from the radio you have, stick with it, you'll unlikely find a better one.

What radio for att and cleanrom?

I'm curious which radio you guys are using. Are you using the radio from the firmware upgrade or have you tried a different one? My reception in the settings isn't very good and it seems like my battery drains a little faster than before.

If you're on the 2.15 firmware package the best radio for you is apparently the one that is bundled with it. Nobody can really tell you which radio to use as it depends on your location, among other things. If you're having trouble with your current radio you need to test a few for yourself, note the results, and go with the one that works best for you.
I saw you posted this question in the radio as well. If you took a few minutes to read a few pages of that thread you would have seen that this is the answer given every time someone asks which radio is best.
