Had my One S since last Wednesday and although I'm not in a hurry to get a case for this sexy beast I DO want to get a screen protector on it because it's a bit too glossy for me, I'd like something to tone it down just a bit and also protect it a little.
So, any recommendations? I've seen several good comments about the official HTC screen protectors but was wanting to get feedback from those who have actually purchased, received and are using a screen protector.
Thanks!
I am using the Zagg Dry (the ones that u don't have to spray stuff everywhere) protectors that come for a front and back protector. Seems to go very well and gives good grip.

I always go for HTC official protector, reason is very simple, it fits perfectly. I mean perfectly, literally, perfectly.
And they are very clear and not easily damaged.
Only down side I can think about is the installation. Cos it fits so perfectly, it makes the installation bot difficult, you have to be very patient to do it, but definitely possible.
BTW, yes, I have official one on my one s, and I love it.
And, no need to go to Expansys or other websites which are really expensive, eBay will just do, less than £5.

Do you have any type of case? Was thinking of getting the Cruzerlite clear case and using it with the official HTC screen protector but I want to make sure both fit correctly together.

i got this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200745665...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
it fitted perfectly.. Its so cheap and it does the job
well worth it
htc official protector for me as well. More expensive but you can really slide the fingers on it and it fits ideally. No cheap stuff

Yes, have normal tpu case on. They work well together. Never had the Cruzerlite one but it should be ok I assume. It's a normal shape tpu case right?

I went with zagg for the screen and waiting for otterbox for the case.

I'm waiting for the otterbox myself... I hope they can send in the UK directly.

i bought the one like "azzledazzle" too.(sr first post and can"t post other links).I am in Berlin now, at ebay.de they said the good is in Berlin but i waited for 4 days till it came.and on the Bill it says come from UK lol.
btw this one is good, cheap, but hard to press (power and volume)
the screen protector ist good too.
I was using the one they sell at the T-Mobile store and it worked quite nice. Only complaint is that my D30 case peeled it up in the corners so I took it off. That was most likely from me putting it on weird though.

I have the same combo and initially had the peeling problem, too. Try pushing the screen protector away from the side where it's peeling. That worked for me.
Really like the official tmobile screen protector.

Anyone know if the HTC one is that much better than the one from T-Mobile?

does the t-mobile screen protector offer a smooth surface to touch? I am used to SGP's screen protectors which smooth as hell. Right now I am deciding on the t-mobile ones or the Realook ones

Smooth as the original screen...I don't experience any difference.
$30.00 Zagg dry for me. Watch out when you put the front protector on. It needs to be done withe the phone sitting upside down, your ear piece needs to be facing you. I recommend you do this with your phone off.
When I did mine and answered a txt while doing the front and ended up setting the phone down on the desk right side up. And now the front screen protector is on up side down. Still works though.

I am also a fan of SGP. Very smooth and resists figure prints.
Zagg HD was good for a few days and then started bubbling at the top and was easily nicked up.
Skinomi will always have microbubbles.(bad batch) Have tried 4 at 2 plus days each.
Please note what is actually working and where you purchased it.
please help before I go insane.
Leave the Skinomi alone for at least 3 days. I bet the speckles will disappear.
Had a dozen devices, never used a screen protector and never will.
Over the years had zero scratches
Had a Skinomi purchased from their website since I received the phone on May 4th. Have had no problems at all. Love it.
still rocking the skinomi on mine as well. no bubbles or anything here. it cleared up within 8hrs of putting it on.
Believe it or not but the best luck with screen protectors I've had, as far as durability and application, is with the AT&T branded ones (I think they're actually iFrog or something). The only problem is that they are "anti-glare" so I ended up going "bare" for a while but my nerves got the best of me and now I'm using a Zagg "Dry" Invisibleshield. The Zagg is starting to "peel" at the edges and it actually scratches pretty easily so I might just go back to the AT&T ones.
I agree the AT&T ones fit well but sucks cause its anti glare, at least it's not much fingerprints, and at least I know in my head there's a beautiful screen under all that graininess
I had the att anti glare and it would not sit right bc of the screen curve. Now have zagg and its nice but far too grippy. Suggestions ?

I've had one installed for 2 weeks. Have some micro bubbles.
I have had the Zagg HD on for as long as I've had the phone and it's still great. It's been over a week, maybe close to 2.
everyone in this thread should try liquid armor. It is a spray on screen protector, no bubbles, no dust, no lowered image quality. I have it on my one x and has been great so far. Best part is its only 20 bucks and you can use the spray over 50 times.
I honestly don't know why this isn't a very popular its incredible.

No the question is how do you know it's on and protecting your screen.
xo skin,
still crystal clear
I'm using the one from Zagg and it's great. Can't stand the matte ones on such a beautiful screen. However, you do notice some nicks a day or two after installation.

The screen protector is remarkably easy to pop out. I also used some duct tape to remove the residual adhesive left over off the inside of the plastic frame. After that you are free to use any screen protector you like.

I think it's common knowledge by now that GG is susceptible to thin, shallow hairline scratches. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof

GG2 was just an improvement on it's structural strength, meaning they can make them thinner. It's still the same material, and Corning states that it just "maintains" its durability though being thinner, not that it's any more resistant to scratches.
http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/news/press-releases/corning-unveils-new-gorilla®-glass-2
But whatever man, to each his own. You do whatever you want with your phone. I just think it's misleading to tell everyone that the glass is indestructible when it's not.
Also, keys really can't scratch any modern glass used on smartphones. Here's a video of the Galaxy Nexus (which does not have GG) and the key doesn't do anything either.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPco1NzLgZ8
The "hammer" demo is pretty cool though.
yuk!
That is most certainly the ugliest phone case i have ever seen. most of these cases make the streamline HTC devices look like pieces of crap. I'm certain that HTC didn't work on slimming down the device so you can bulk it up again by inserting it into that ugly block of rubbery ****.
no case, no screen protector.
I run a "phone pocket" , i just choose a pants or shirt pocket, and the which ever one i put it in, the phone rides solo, no keys, no coins, co cards .. just the phone. That keeps it sweet and it still looks premo.
Yeah but it's good protection from dropping it and possible other way of damaging it

Just walked out of best buy with the Pt (Seidio) Surface case and I really like it! I'll post a review in a couple days but I can already tell this is going to become my daily case from here on out (at least until my Incipio Silicrylic comes in a few days lol). I really like the way they did the power and volume buttons, makes them really easy to press. Plus, it came with a really nice holster. $35 + tax. Man I really need to stop buying cases.

I had that case too in white. I found the front part of the case covered too much of the sides of the screen taking away from the nice design of the phone. It also felt a little waxy to me. Other then that it did provide good protection and it was one of the few all white cases out.

I think I have the same one (black/grey color). I actually like the waxy feel of it. To me, it's similar to the feel of the phone's matte texture on the back, so it almost feels like there is no case on it. It's thin and light, but still sinks in the camera a little. The easy-pressing-ness of the buttons is also a huge plus. I really like it!

Appears a bit thick that case. Assume it offers good protection though.
The only issue I have with my Diztronic is that there is no back camera/raised section to protect the lens and flash. You set it down, the camera is right on the surface, stupid design that is an easy fix they chose not to do.
I ordered a Nillsen off ebay and am going to give that one a try, it is basically the same TPU with protection for the camera/flash and some rough edges to grip.
Got mine today. Extremely impressed with it , and that's coming from someone who goes through tons of cases.

I don't think anything can ever take me away from the nillkin TPU case. I am so impressed with it. I love the matte backside and how it does not leave fingerprints, the grips on the side and most importantly the camera protection. this case does not leave ANY gap around the camera and has a nice sloped lip around the camera lense. The best camera protection that I have seen on any case I've ever owned.
All of this from a slim, sleek TPU case!
I do not work for this company, just sharing how incredibly impressed with this case. Check it out!

It's how you apply it. It has to be a dust free place. Never experienced having a speck of dust on between with different brands of skins on a screen and I also make sure to squeegee out the liquid thoroughly

Honestly I don't see much difference between these, BSE, Invisibleshield etc. But I usually go with Ghost Armor because they have a stand at mall near me that does the installation and replacement themselves.
They all work fine, but I hate when they are not applied correctly, it makes them pretty redundant.

I'll look into buying an SPG, very good experience with them. The bad? Their screen protectors are expensive, but they worth.
