Try turning on screen rotation in settings.
And im sorry but why didnt you ask this question/problem in the thread of the ROM. Ive seen more topics from you more than anyone else in this sub-forum. I dont mean to flame or anything its just my opinion.

I don't know about recording issues with 2.3.7 I always record in landscape mode... so I started a video recording in landscape and half way through I went to portrait and the video playback is screwed up and not playing in portrait the way I thought it would... starting off in portrait made no difference at all...weird. I haven't a clue on this one, as it is only my 3rd time recording something with my phone lol. I'm on latest 2.3.7 stock camera.

Oh man I don't remember the thread it's from... for that maybe someone could post the zip or which thread it's in.
Try searching for "LG cm7 cam". I'm sure it'll only he for our device. And just to be sure just make a backup of your ROM then flash it.
In my opinion its amazingly... freaking amazing. Especially how you can adjust the exposure when it's too dark for the camera, and also for the camcorder.

I would say for close ups and when you want to make something pop out more in the picture (landscapes) , low light situations too

this is noobish i know but could one of you post the link to the cm7 rom you are talking about. I just see a ton that say CM7 in the development section and want to make sure i get the right one

Yes, turn it off the phone, then press power + vol down and hold it until you see the word android.
Be careful though, if is not install you will factory reset ur phone

You really shouldn't post this in Dev unless it was an official release and checked out. It is already in general where it belongs for this moment.
2nd it has a password, which you didn't even include: sampro.pl , which already makes it quite suspicious.

Don't, that simple. It is NOT a working Infuse 4g ATT Gingerbread rom.
I have a buddy who works for ATT and apparently they're testing it right now, He said possibly within the next week. Believe me or not, your choice. All im telling you is info i have received
You should remove this before too many people try to flash a rom that doesn't work.

IM RUNNING IT RIGHT NOW
what do you mean it's not real? it just hasnt been finalized. it just has the galaxy s shutdown animation, and is missing bootloaders. it is an infuse rom that works nearly perfectly. you can root it with the custom kernels on the forum and flash the stock kernel back to it to get hdmi support back.
maybe people are weird about flashing leaks but this is an infuse rom plain and simple.

havent tested, did you clear data?
EDIT: so far it is working, just logged in. emails updated. i only use gmail, dont know what type of account you put in. might be an issue with data though

I don't know why you're being so adamant about this. Encouraging the inexperienced to install an unfinished rom is pretty much begging them to make mistakes and have a hard time.
The guy that posted the original link in General hasn't exactly been a fountain of information.
im not encouraging, just saying what it is. and it is not a galaxy s rom any more than ucke3 is a galaxy s rom. it isn't fake. it isnt for another phone. it isn't complete or official but it is an infuse rom. oh and the camera records @30fps. so it isnt something somebody mashed to gether and changed the build.prop to fool us either.
The GB 2.3 upgrade is now available for the Optimus series. Will this be adapted to LG Star? Any dev willing to work on this?

The Gingerbread rom is available for download already in the O2X section. I downloaded it yesterday. It is 2.3.4 for the O2X. I am planning on porting it to the G2X just for the fun of it.

New one based on the new Italian 2.3.4 LG UI rom. The one I posted was ported from a prototype device made for Tracfone which is essentially identical to the G2X. The LG UI port will take longer, if I can get it working at all.

Maybe LG will give us ICS as a little Christmas present. They also said the o2x will get ICS. I just hope they don't put a custom overlay on that. I just wish ICS will only be completely stock.

The P999 ICS will be stock. The P990 ICS will most likely have the LG UI overlay and colorization.
Better reception with the modem. A better WiFi signal and fixes my grainy hd camera issues i had with the unofficial 2.3.5.
Now, anyone know if I can root this heffer?

For what it is worth, mine shows TWLauncher version 2.3.6
i updated today and rooted my phone with SuperOneClickv2.2 give it a little time it took longer then it did before but it got the job done

the phone is so much more smoother now and lot of the lag is gone. but thats gingerbread for u its a much better os than froyo. i loved the phone before but love it a lot more now. this is what android needs to from there phones to show how much faster they are than iphones and keep them UPDATED thats a big thing.

I...used rom manager and flashed rom...then went to the normal LG screen and then to the LG screen with the blue strip behind it and it is stuck there...what should I go back to stock or normal ...

If you like stock GB you could try Eaglesblood CM7, very fast and stable.

You can use the LG camera on CM7, but the CM7 camera is fine for me in good light, and works better in low light with BraviaHack
