[Q] Odd glitch or feature? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a shiny new Pad 300 and I've noticed an oddity with the up arrow on the keypad. If I keep it pressed then the pad cycles through switching the trackpad off, taking a screen shot, switches off the wifi, starts playing the last music track, and then locks the pad.
It's not a deal breaker just odd.

Charging dock lag after removal

I have two of the Samsung docks that come with the spare battery(one for home, one for the office) and I love them except for one thing. Sometimes after I take it off the dock it takes a while for all my home screen icons to show up. Sometimes as much as 10 seconds. I have tried turning the dock mode off but it still has this lag. It automatically goes into landscape mode when docked regardless of the settings and I experience this on both of them. Anyone else experience this issue or have a fix?

[Q] Center of touchscreen intermittent

Hi, has anyone else had the center of their touchscreen stop responding? It has been intermittently happening for a couple of days, and I can't seem to pin it to anything I am doing or anything I have changed.
I attached a screen shot of the screen while scribbling in SketchBook to show how the center third of the screen is being skipped. To click anything in the center of the screen, I have to use the track pad on the keyboard.. Powering off and back on clears the issue, but it has come back several times. I hope this is not a hardware issue, what do you think?
Thanks!
BTW - This only happens while using the keyboard dock.
yeah when you close the tab, the keyboard holder presses on the screen too hard and creates a "ghost touch". On//off screen fixes it. as the hinge gets more loose it goes away. i went to developer setings and enabled visual feedback so could spot it.
It seems like when I pinch the rails together to reduce the slop and wiggle of the keyboard and tablet, the ghost spots stop for a few days. I got an AR Drone at Christmas and get nervous about flying it and losing control of the screen (crash and burn).

[Q] Keyboard Dock Randomly stops working after wake

Hi everyone,
I got a keyboard dock for my transformer pad infinity. I like it a lot. However there is a small issue with it. Sometimes when the tablet wakes up, my dock does not work. Neither the touchpad or the keyboard. However the tablet still shows that the dock is connected. The only way for me to make it work again is to reboot the tablet. Disconnecting and connecting the dock back does not help. This does not happen every time the tablet wakes up, just sometimes and its very random.
Any ideas on what the problem might be. Dock works very well when the tablet is awake.

issue with touch screen

The main issue I'm having is, on occasion, the touch screen seems to behave erratically, registering input even when I am not touching the screen. I can't seem to figure out how to reproduce it reliably, but it seems to happen at least once every day. The phone seems to think something is touching parts of the screen, as it launches apps, types garbage on the keyboard, bounces the lock screen up and down, etc, all without me even touching the device. And of course, when I do touch the device, it either doesn't register, or 'fights' with the ghost input, and basically doesn't do what I want.
Try changing your touch sensitivity from High to Normal. Find under Settings - touch - Touch sensitivity.
This worked for me Mine was very sensitive too when I first bought it but after messing around with it for a couple of days and changing the setting from High to Normal and back again it's been fine ever since, Crazy!

Xtrons PB7639BP touch screen stops working

As the title says, every day or two the screen stops responding to touch, I have to hold the power button for 30 seconds to force a hard restart or put a pin in the reset hole on the front, then it's fine again for a day or two.
I have updated MCU from MTCE_GS_V2.78 to MTCE_GS_V3.40, and Android from HCT_PX5_6.0(20171023) to HCT_PX5_6.0(20171227), also removed front panel and DVD player and re-seated all 3 ribbon cables connecting the front to the main unit (2 small & 1 wide) to no avail, An ideas? or is it just giving up after 3 years?
Thanks all
I'm having the same problem, only thing is now its become permanent. I've tried everything from MCU updates to stripping down the unit to barebones and checking connections. Its not just the screen touch, its the touch panel controls as well. Did you get thsi resolved?
Unfortunately not, sometimes it comes back to life, I quickly play an album, the screen jumps and flashes then goes black, no touch working but music keeps playing, sometimes my whole journey to work is in silence, I'm learning to live with it
