I love how handy and convenient it is. I like how it's easy to enter by the notification bar but you make it that we can change the color of the icon on the notification bar.
Also can u change the white background on the battery page, so bright and black makes more sense since it saves battery

Wow! This seems like the ultimate custom clock app i've ever seen! Looks like it already features most of the stuff other clock widgets provide.
Great stuff!

fu**** nice jihaa cooool editor big thx
Nice!
+1 on the weather and battery and sizable widgets (4 x 1 would be my choice)
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yep, weather information would be awesome.
But after all, its supposed to be a clock widget, not something like Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widget.
The editor by the way is absolutely awesome! great freedom of customization and aligning. Never saw something like that before
And yeah, more Widget Sizes would be muuuuch appreciated!
Testing now, looks promising though! Do you think you could add, if not already there and I can't find it, a vertical option as well?
Kinda tedious to use tuning option. Suggestion would be to be able to drag parts with your finger then use tuning for fine adjustments. Love the widget keep it up.
EDIT: and a left, center and right justify option

App will be definitely improved, this is more proof of concept than final market ready app.
What do you mean by vertical option?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
It is freedom of user whether he/she wants build Fancy Widget/SiMiClock or TypoClock looks. All should be possible in final version.
More sizes are planed to beta3 or beta4

Sorry, I was at work and only had a minute to post. What I meant was that I think it would be good for you to add a vertical text option. I posted my lockscreen to show you what I mean. If your trying to give the app a lot of flexibility, that option would add to its appeal.

Just tried it out, thanks for the quick update!
I would really like it if i had more control over the colour settings. Like one of those slider colour changers with alpha settings as well.
Also, losing the white background entirely is not a good idea in my opinion. It would be nice to have control over the background colour/alpha settings as well.
EDIT: Maybe font options too...? Or the option to load up your own font.

Sidebar Lite | Sidebar Pro
My current experience with Sidebar as of now.
There are not as many little bugs, most are limitations in Android itself, but nothing that affect myself.
Those limitations being, the notification glitch, without having the notification android kills it.
Apps take longer to launch when current app is your default launcher.
The look is amazing, originally I was looking for a unity-esque side launcher, but this is so much more.
First, it looks cleaner than unity, by coping the aesthetic of windows 7.
Also it allows for task management, which I find conflicts with the Android's built in task manager and appears to duplicate app instances, but overall looks and functions pretty well.
You simply slide the icon off the bar to kill the app, or touch the icon to naturally open it.
A plus with the pro version, is that you can pin as many apps as you'd like. Plus there's the ability to pin widgets such as home, pause song, wifi and many more toggles. Currently shortcut to activities have been removed, but with the new, better caching system, I have a feeling they'll be added back
The scrolling of the sidebar could be more fluid; as in keep up with my finger better, but overall performance was fine and the app itself has a very small resource footprint.
This app has come a long way, and I can't wait for themes and easy icon rearrangement.
Good luck Mohammad.

BUMP, people need to see this app!

I'm not sure why this isn't getting more attention, but this is the best side launcher app yet! You need to add the ability to manually change the icons (unless that's already there in the pro version...) and incorporate a multitasking function, where it showing running apps with favorited apps, however the running apps are highlighted to show they're running, much like Unity for linux. Great app nonetheless!
EDIT: I found a significant bug on the free version. When you add the max allotted apps, then delete remove an app, it won't allow you to add anymore back, even if you remove all of them, it just says you need to upgrade.

They have a completely different UI and feature set. That's like asking what's the difference between Nova Launcher and iOS. Sure they both have the same task but they're surely different. Try them both (they're free) and you'll feel the difference.
The best one out there.. Period.
I've tried various quick-launch apps over the past few weeks. Stumbled onto this just today. This is by the the best one available.
Very minimal layout, & customizable. Will be buying the paid version for sure. Kudos. :good:
One suggestion - can we get customizable animation time. Currently it's a bit too slow and without the animation its just too dull

Re: [APP][2.1+] Sidebar
Would be great if apps could have this layout
Just purchased the Pro version, and so far very nice! If you're taking suggestions however, i'd like a way to disable the notification, as well as a way to move the icons around into whatever order you like (rather than having to delete and reinstall to your liking). It would also be nice to be able to position the icons where we want as well, say from the bottom up, rather than the top down. But great job overall!
thanks

Here is an old version of the app. Is this better than Sidebar as it is on the Market?
Major differences:
- Uses a tab
- Solid color
- Less Settings
- Sidebar tears at screen edge when docking by draggin the tab
- Some lag on the dragging on lower end phones
Try it out (SUPER OLD VERSION): https://www.dropbox.com/s/pltw4vui9e2gbpl/Sidebar.apk and tell me if it is better or worse than the released version.

No it's definitely worse. The solid color is terrible in my opinion. It isn't as smooth, and also the constant tab is dreadful. Believe me you're heading in the right direction, don't go backwards.

Wonderful! Why not put it on play store? It's really cool and fast!
Let me suggest to modify a little bit the default blue theme, it is simply wonderful but the font is too thin and the space between buttons is almost invisible. I'd make another identical version with the same button spacing of the fourh theme, the grey one, which is already how I am suggesting

Just wow! Awesome app! Just, could you add an option to always have it on top of three navigation bar for all screens? I use Chroma keyboard and with that loons awesome!
Maybe making a quick toggle for all apps to show over the navbar when the keyboard is displayed?
Very nice idea and design too

You mean in the general settings page an option to set default configuration for all apps which have no specific settings saved?

More like an option to have the round parts on the navigation bar at all times, here is an example of my issue with it not applying when the keyboard is shown.
Really a nice feature, reminds me of the old MIUI days with rounded corners. App is configured clean and simple, great work!
Can we have some more promo-codes? I was late.
Just found it in XDA APPS, really like it!
Running perfectly on HTC 10 with Maximus HD ROM, it reminds me the good old days of PALM PRE...And MIUI...
Hope it won't take much battery, I'll keep testing! :good:
thank you. i like the round corners
Great idea...but botom corners not working for me:crying:
S6Edge
Update
Reinstalled and working now...
Nice look with s7 edge
New update killed full screen mode bro, heres some screeners for ya
Yep know but only miui and xiamio or devices with no navbar. Will fix soon.
Any chance you could make the experience seamless for rooted users? It bugs from time to time, flickering between normal/rounded edges with certain apps and so on!
Thanks for this anyway, its so solid with my S7 Edge. Grabbed the premium version!
Feature request: Is there a way to add a setting to ignore certain apps (instead of disable?). I use pie control, and every time I use it, the screen will be overridden with the pie control round corner settings. This would also be useful for the keyboard as well.
Pretty nice app. I really like it. I even would buy premium, but it shows up in MIUIs taskmanager/recent apps. And it does not work good on MIUI 8.3. I quit the app accidentally when clearing all, and then it did not work anymore after restarting. Permissions were given properly of course.
