[Q] Bootloader Re-locked. Help

Hi
I have unlocked the bootloader using htc-dev unlock as there is no aahk. i followed the link tau.shadowchild.nl/attn1/?p=88[/url] and i have done upto step 4. after that i tried installing cwm and it fails. after reeboting my phone its on stock firmware 2.3.5 and sense3.0. i want to flash a custom rom onto this device. can u people help me when i tried to enter into hboot mode the top of my inspire 4g screen says bootloader - relocked. What to do now. How to flash cwm into it and install custom roms.
Thanks in Advance.
Why are you following that guide? It is for preparing an Inspire 4G with the latest update for AAHK, which no longer exists.
You cannot flash CWM unless you re-unlock your bootloader; you can't flash anything when the bootloader is locked.

using the same unlock_code.bin as before:
Plug the phone with usb debugging enabled.
Open a cmd as admin and type adb reboot-bootloader.
When in fastboot usb (you should read that in the phone) navigate to where the unlock_code.bin file is in.
Type fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
Voilá...you are done.
If you don't have the unlock_code.bin, then get another token from phone the same way as you did before.

[Q] unlocking bootloader without fastboot acces?

Hi guys,
I wanted to completly reset my nexus 5, but I forgot to flash a the stock recovery, before locking the bootloader (fastboot oem lock). The problem is, fastboot devices are not shown with CWM (my current custom recovery) in bootloader mode, so my PC can't recognize my phone in fastboot mode. How can I unlock the bootloader again, so I can flash the stock recovery?
Please Help me fast
Fastboot won't work in a custom recovery. Boot to the bootloader and fastboot will work. Then unlock your device.

This might be a stupid question. Is it safe to "relock" the bootloader if I have a custom recovery and root on my device? I assume "fastboot oem lock" is all I need to do. People indicate that I shouldn't leave my device's bootloader unlocked. Will this affect things like custom recovery and my root status?
Appreciate the help.

Bootloader state has absolutely no relation to anything else. The only difference between having it locked and unlocked is certain fastboot commands, like flashing images.
Locking the bootloader is completely pointless if you have a custom recovery that doesn't use a password and/or no lock in Android.
Also, if you are rooted, install bootunlocker. The apk will let you lock/unlock from within Android without data loss. Will also let you reset tamper flags.

Appreciate the answer!

Stock themes app is gone after relocking bootloader

Hi, yesterday i unlocked my bootloader and flashed TWRP on my Honor 8 (FRD-L09.) And for some weird reason, my phone was soft bricked. When i tried to boot it, i had to go into fastboot mode, and then reboot it. Because of this, i relocked my bootloader and when i did that, i got an error message saying my system is damaged and should be formatted. So i tried formatting it with eRecovery, and it couldn't download the package info. But when i rebooted my device, everything was factory reset, and everything is as normal except for that the stock themes app is completely gone. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Edit: other EMUI apps are also gone, like the clock and calculator.
How did you go about relocking your bootloader?

I used ADB on my computer and typed "fastboot oem relock (unlocking code)" (without quotes.) I got no error messages, and not even when i flashed TWRP, so it's so weird that this happened.
See, you didn't state this in your other thread. Sorry but what you need to do is flash the OS again. Your device won't function correctly because it was not formatted properly. A format WILL NOT erase OEM apps.
