Balance Update / USSD blocker
Block annoying post call service msg regarding balance.
This app selectively blocks balance update messages that carriers send after each call, typically on prepaid plans. These balance update messages show as annoying popups after end of each call.

I think with data roaming turned off you should be good to go.

And Mobile Network on the first screen, you can turn it off and you will never have data connection. As posted above, data roaming is off by default. So you won't incurre roaming data costs.
It's not just data, International roaming call and text will cost you an arm and leg too.
Honor 6 - True Caller not working
Two days back received this awesome device and so far no complaints except this third party application True Caller not working with my Honor 6. It looks like honor 6 has designed its own call locater and I could see in the UI while receiving a unknown call. But that is not enough for me. It just gives the city and location. Everyone knows what True Caller does and I installed it in the Honor 6 and I don't see any notifications from the True Caller when I receive a call. But after the call gets completed I'm able to see the call locater name and location as usual. So the issue is only on the call notification pop-up. Is anyone seeing the same problem and got it fixed? PLEASE HELP

In Truecaller settings, enable the in call popup
I know people have asked about focusing on a specific tower and I can see how and why that would be impossible, but I have a slightly different problem so I'm looking to take the blacklist approach.
Basically, I have moved over to FreedomPop which is a VoIP service with free data. The problem is I keep connecting to a particular couple towers locally with no data connection, not 3G or 4G, which makes the connection useless. I want to blacklist the towers with no data.
My phone is rooted and Xposed is installed, if that can help. My thought basically is to identify the tower(s) and nuke them from the home list or PRL, wherever it's hiding. Is this possible?
Thank you.

Basically, can we add an enforceable "LTE Only" setting to this screen?

I have a NXT-L29 C636B180 and i don't reveive all the text messages i should.
I'm pretty sure it's a problem on my mate because i didn"t receive sms from 2 differents people, one has a samsung on android, one has an iphone 5.
Plus it's not a carrier problem because it was on my sim 1 and my sim 2. I can receive my text most of the time, but randomly i don"t get one or 2... it's really stange.
Did someone get a problem like that? Any solutions? I would avoid a full reset for now... I'm waiting the next rom on android 6.01 before to do a factory reset...
did you see if your sms spam blocker did hide it for you

Ok for now nothing in the sms spam blocker.

Supposedly, our s8's diaker/messaging app is powered by hiya app. Hiya is an app that has database of scammers and spammers. It will show you if the one texting or calling you is a scam. I wonder of this feature is the hiya integration.
Any thoughts?

Works ok but I still prefer TruCaller as that blocks spam sms as well.

As does the Samsung messaging app.
It shows you on the incoming call screen if it's a suspected scam/spam call.

For example, see screenshots.
Hiya (for me) only shows
spam numbers.
Obviously depends on local Hiya data base.
Hiya does not block messages /text.
To block messages i have to use Samsung messages blocker.
Overall can't complain.
Hiya works silently and does not spam me, so i am happy.
