[help]Theming and deodex problem

Hi everyone
I've got few problems in theming my phone, I dun know how to do although i've read a lot of articles about it. So I hoped that someone could help me
Here is my phone's spec :
My phone is rooted
Firmware ver :2.3.5
Baseband ver : I9003XXKPM
Kernel ver : 2.6.35.7-CL696171
[email protected]#1
Build no : GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Then come to the questions

What should I do in order to apply it ?
Do I need to DEODEX or can I DEODEX my phone using this method ?

I am so scare about losing everything in my phone as I dun really know how to make a backup of it

FIRSTLY..
I GUESS you are not rooted...
u are running a stock kernal...
u have to flash your phone with a cf-root to get root acces and CWM wihc is necessary to flash files and deodexing...u can flash universal CF-Root by amit bagaria..or Universal beta9fix.tar by XDA_Bam u need to flash them through ODIN...
First Do the above steps..report back if there is any issue...
then move to the next one..

ur config says ur on KPM... the theme will work on KPM as the OP suggests...
yes DEODEXING is must...
u have to deodex using a simple zip file... from here.. load it into ur mmc and flash using cwm...

and you will not lose any sms...apps or other stuff..deodexing just removes ur odex files and replaces them with jar files to allow u customizatin..

i have already applied the cf-root and i have got the awsome cwm
i will flash the zip of deodex tomorrow

Instead of waiting why dont you upgrade to xxkpq.All the mods and themes are designed for kpq.
And all the files for deodex and stuff will be easily available

u shud move to xxkpq if u want more themes and mods..i guess its a stock rom so it MUST b having chinese language...
To backup up contacts sms and logs...u have an app called Super backup in market.. that wud save ur contatcs ...and For APPS u have titanium backup...
use them to take backups.. after taking the backups COPY THE BACKED UP folders to ur PC...
cz flashing the phone may remove them...
So u need to go flash xxkpq then cwm...deodex...ext4..theme..
copy back the folders and restore whatever u feel lyk..

Can anyone help me? my phone is samsung i9003... i have a ptoblem texting its so laggy... when i press a button have to wait aroug i sec for a response... i tried to reset to factory settings at first 2 hrs response ig good, then after it becomes laggy again... i didnt put any program... stock phone.. upgraded the firmware to 2.3.6 already... still same problem...
pls.... neeed ur help...

Change the keyboard to galaxy s2 keyboard! Or download another keyboard from play store!

Change the keyboard. I had somehow unresponsive keyboard at bottom right-hand side. Changed it with free ones from market. and problem solved.

get Smart keyboard pro... u wont leave it..

still the same.... it will still lag..... im not using the qwerty... using the conventional 3x4 keypad

what firmware are you on?
maybe you need to reflash and update to latest one
i remember a friend of mine experienced the same with his galaxy ace and he just flashed to a newer firmware

im using 2.3.6 the latest official in our country...

factory reset via recovery?
try settings >> privacy >> factory data reset >> check format box >> reset phone
also try to use go sms for your txt messaging needs

everytime i reset its ok, but once i put some programs it starts to lag already....

[Q] boot loop

Guys i tried installing repencis v3 on my samsung galaxy y and used cwm but now it's stock on the galaxy y animation. I can't even access the recovery mode. Any suggestions on what I can do?

i think u have hard bricked ur phne.. go to Samsung service centre as dey can nly do something.. n dnt wrry dey'l nt cme to knw u rooted ur device
and it's strongly nt recommend to flash many boots..

I know exactly what to do. It's happened to a friend and I restored it.
-Go to the galaxy y forum
-Search the stock ROMs thread
-Select ur region
-Get Odin Multi Downloader
-Follow the instructions in the stock rom thread.
If u don't find instructions on how to use Odin, download the stock rom then pm me

Wifi not acessing any internet link in my galaxy r

My samsung galaxy r wifi is connecting to my netgear router but after connecting i am not able to open GOGGLE and INTERNET explorer.
while i can acess play store apps or download them .
I also uses my frnd phone his phone is working perfectly(opens google nd ply store app both).
PLease help me to remove this Error

Vikesh bro : I done switch off n on several times it doesn't effect .
ROM :512mb
Explorer :internet explorer and google search engine
All play store apps and play store working but not opening any link(wheather it is direct link or link comes in any app)
It working fine when i switch to mobile network mode.

NO.. my phone is not rooted . Yaa.. installed a various app and also uninstall apps ( mostly new apps i have installed)

Ok... I think it is because of the newly installed apps... Try to uninstall the new apps and reboot.. If still it doesnt work and as u havent rooted anytime u can go to samsung service center...

ok .. Thnkzz.. I have a 6 months warranty left out for my phone

Mention the following stuff
1. Firmware ver : gingerbread or ics
If gb/ics den is it with custom rom like neo rom 3 on gb or bb/mazel with ics
2. Which ver of gb/ics
U can check it thru settings->about
3. Kernel version
Chk thru settings about
4. Which browser r u using to access internet ?
5. R u able to access it thru mobile net ?? (if u have one )
Nw try these handy solutions
1. Reboot n check...
2. Forget ur wifi n reconnect
3. Factory reset ur fone
4. Flash ur countrys rom again...gb/ics
I m assuming that ur able to access ur wifi thru ur pc/laptop or on other device

[Q] "low memory" problem

Pls solve my 2 probs..for Micromax canvas 2(A110)...
1)I have a free space of 1gb internal SD, 2gb external sd,still showing me the message "low memory" @top-right corner of the screen...then the running app is terminating...
2)the default audio for music is not at all good without equalizer...Also when the equalizer is "on" the default audio is not good.. pls suggest me the default audio settings with/without equalizer...

I guess u runnig on stock rom v1(from ur memory partition). U can upgrade ur phone to v2 or v3
Or u can try any custom rom
It should fix the problem

Jb 4.1.2 doesnt it sound different?? Do u posses a rooted fone running on custom rom or just got it upgraded from service centre? Cuz official update upgrades the fone to 4.1.1
Well have installed a lot of heavy apps in internal storage?
Solution:
If rooted-install any custom rom.if it doesnt solves the issue den boot into recovery and select wipe/data factory reset.
If unrooted-go to settings>storage>default write disk>external sd and prefered instal location>external sd.
Then go to manage applications>and move each and every app to external sd.
It must solve these issues.......

You can know that if u r on v1,v2 or v3.
The first official software for canvas 2 was ics 4.0.4 with 500 mb system storage and 2gb internal storage.THIS IS V1
second was again ics4.0.4 but system storage 1.5 gb and internal 1gb..THIS IS V2
third software realeased by mmx was jb4.1.1 but with same storage as on v2.THIS IS V3

Can you please suggest me a good rom, I am currently trying out CanGalaxy S4 Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359089 but latest upload has some issue with FM radio.

The problem is not with space, i have adequate space in all my partitions, yet i have this problem.

Hope you know the features of it, The default write disk is the sd card only but still I face the same problem "low memory problem" . Even my browser is getting closed or a game like subway surfers is also getting closed. Please help me. Is this problem same for whoever installed these custom Rom's?

No bro, Swap will just solve ur low memory(ram) issue. if u feel lags on ur rom try booster or performance or other script from android developer section

Flash letest kernel & try the above mentioned swap feature.

Please any one help me. I am tried factory reseting two times in my Micromax a110. But in my intrnal sd card have 5 Gb, it shows while connecting computer or any other device. But it shows internal memory low space as like free space 110 Mb free and 824mb was used in my default settings. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
