Only way to sell apps ? - LG Optimus 3D

It's possible (allowed) sell apps outside of Google Play? (I think it is ...) If yes, is still necessary to pass the profits to Google?
One more thing, they take 20% or 30% of the profits? (i known this question is easy to solve on google.com )
Thanks

Their are multiple appstores, Amazon, get jar, app brain. Those are a few.

Why you say damn?
Not illegal means yes it is perfectly legal for you to sell your own app on your own website.

I mean like getting access to something to test and delete or pay for if its good, as I dont want lots of debits and credits trying and refunding on my bank account.

There is a way to test out some of the paid apps. It's called "downloading the demo versions."
Once you buy an app you can try it and if you wish to, return it for a full refund within 24 hours. So that is exactly what you need.

Why is everyone so concerned about "obtaining" applications anyway? Everyone is happy enough to steal windows mobile and android OS's
Difficult to steal android as it's opensource...
And I wouldn't take Windows Mobile if it was free.
If someone is charging $.99 for an app they're not exactly going to be rolling in cash from it in the first place - if you start stealing the apps then they may just give up and not bother. Anyone can afford to take the risk of a couple of crap apps at those prices.. and if you really daren't risk a dollar then there are always reviews.

Because we don't like to be associated with thieves, maybe? It may be that bad, that there are be people reading this who has actually written those applications you are trying to "obtain".

Asking for Paid Apps For Free is confusing, especially when we have a strict no Warez Policy.
I know this is not about Warez but it could become about warez very quickly and some sharp users have pinted this out by reporting this thread.
It is therefore closed.

Yes, from Amazon and PC World, and now the Google store within PC world, and soon one at Lakeside (no word on whether it will be Burberry patterned though)
Apple is suing...apparently they had a patent and this is too similar to an apple store...

I'm hoping that they're are going to expand on products and include the new Nexus, for example.

Their opening one at Lakeside as well? Theyre not really in the hardware business yet but i think the acquisition of Motorola will spearhead this. So they'll probably end up selling the Nexus S, the Nexus prime and whatever else they decide to make in the next few years.

I'd sign up, but I'm also from Canada, and I have a feeling your company would not be willing to reimburse me for the ridiculous traveling expenses.
Hopefully you get some local biters though.

Nokia x7

Any experiences so far on this phone? Because the global version is not yet available in my country. And I can save hundred bucks if i buy this thru online stores. Any major issues using chinese rom?
A few that I know:
1. OK Google will not work.
2. Live location sharing might not work
3. Contacts sync has issues on some phones. That's for Google. Others might work.
Also, there should be some paid services to flash the international ROM on the X7. So, go for it if you want to

That's a part of the business too. People buy Chinese stuff because it's cheap and then they also expect it to be better than the quality offered by the branded item. Paypal just can't keep honoring your disputes for something like that. I've personally never faced any issue with PayPal. I've got my refunds where the item wasn't as it was explained or as I was expecting it or didn't arrive at all.
If you have your proofs, PayPal can't deny you a refund. Unless you're in the business of putting up fake disputes.
