I have a Moto Defy at home and it fetches the Lyrics from internet for most of the songs but, my Note never displays any lyrics at all
I have enabled the Lyrics option from settings, but it doesn't make any difference.
Is it a bug or something?
What app are you using?
I am using the default music player. I have TuneWiki player that display lyrics with ads but, shouldn't the default player display the lyrics as well?

I have meridian installed. I like it for music because the buttons on my bluetooth headset work with it. I realized that when I put a shortcut on the screen for a music playlist, it uses the default music player to play it. Is there a way to change this so that meridian is the default player for the music playlist?
I want a music player that has a song database, an interface like the Google music app, and shows embedded lyrics. Astro is close but I can't find any skins that are close plus its a very clunky interface. Basically I just want the cover art on one side of the screen and the lyrics on the other. I'm hoping there is one that I haven't tried yet. Thanks in advance for any input.

The current Music player in the Wolf Rom...can comeup with one more facility of lyrics on the player itself....
even one of Nokia's 5800 symbian has such kind of facility.....
like if there is a lyrics with the song itself...
the player will display that....
but, if there is no lyrics with the song...
it will search internet.....

MIUI music player has lyrics.
MIUI Music or SE Themed MIUI Music
The way the iPhone gets the lyrics is by the MP3 file itself. You add it to the Lyrics tab under the "get info" option when you right click the song. Hope this helps

Android does not natively support the ID3v2 USLT necessary to display lyrics. I added a new feature request that would give Android support for reading USLT in the ID3 tag. Is there a plugin to have lyrics shown on Google Music? I know there's tune wiki , musixmatch, but they are separated apps .. with terrible UI and on top of it they don't show the music files from Google Music even after "downloading them to the device"
Any chance of a Lastfm scrobbler plugin? I just use the official Lastfm app to scrobble my tracks, I don't listen to their radio, and the UI is gingerbread all around , simple lastfm scrobbler would be ideal, but it doesnt support Google music :/
I saw the option that the bult-in music player could show lyrics to my music. I used MP3tag and added tag: UNSYNCEDLYRICS with my lyrics lik that: xxx||Lyrics which was working on my computer but unfortunatelly the default EMUI music player on my Honor 8 did not show anything.
So I am asking your help kindly that how should I do it because I would like to see the lyrics of some songs when I am playing them and swiping left the album cover?
I think the default player only supports LRC files not MP3 tags.

but the files should be renamed to .trc issted of .lrc and should be placed in musiclrc folder in sd card
