Game Discontinued
Small update (v1.0.1):
- Improved the accelerometer speed controls issue
- Should now not show up in google play for screens that are too small (may still occasionally show up)
- Fixed other minor bugs
--
I have also included information as to what each permission does and what it is used for if you are interested.
Now that my phone runs ICS I can really make my next game more efficient
I can't get past the splash screen...
HTC Desire Z

Sense 2.1
EDIT: nevermind... Silent prevented it from launching

Game is nice? Is it your first game? If it is, good start, however...
Game is laggy (although i played several other "bigger" games with no lag), and glitchy...
Controls can be improved, make it when you hold jump, it'll jump higher, if you just touch it, it'll jump a little...
Yeah, it needs some work ,but not bad

Also thx for the positive feedback
Version 1.0.2:
This version is NOT a feature update, but contains the following improvements:
- Changed onResume() function to prevent black screens / cause less black screens.
- Improved Ad System to feature TapForTap (to promote StarRaider in other apps) and MobFox. The ad is still at the bottom of the screen

update may take a while to appear in google play.

Hey, i'm preparing supertux for android, its already done, but kinda slow for now on slower devices, but on a nexus you will have full fps and music. Its missing a touchscreen joystick also.You can see the state of my progress here
I'm looking for people interested in testing it to launch a initial version to the market. The game will be free, and there is going to be a donate version with access to contrib levels.
Keymaps:
Up -> dpad up
Down -> dpad down
Left -> vol +
Right -> vol-
Jump -> dpad center
action -> menu key
(you can change them ingame)
Dowload:
UPDATE: Virtual touch keys are only working for 2.2+ versions, i realized i'm using a newer API, i'm going to target the 2.0 devices for using it (earlier versions dont support multitouch).
0.61
You can now play with virtual keys, and you can map it as you want in options.
There directionbuttons.png and jumpactionbuttons.png have the layout of the buttons, i'd appreciate if someone made looking better ones.
-> Initial touchscreen input.
-> Playing with touchscreen eats FPS, JNI fault, you cant optimize it much... However i'll add an option in menu to hide touchscreen buttons.
-> Loading screen added, no more black screen, looking to ideas for layout
-> Some things more, which i dont remember.
-> You will have to download the data package again, with the modifications (i hope when it comes to market all the data files aren't modified)
0.5
Mirror
- Improved in-game performance; no need to install logcat anymore if you dont want it.
- I don't think i'll improve the fps too much, but the inconsistence in some heavier parts in-game will be improved.

UPDATE: it seems the main MENU in game is very slow on nexus, i need someone with programming skills to help me out, as i just have an htc magic, and don't suffer from this problem.

Initial impression is that its very confussing and difficult to use... it took me a while to work out what I was looking at. Don't get the widget folder as it negates what a widget is. I do like the potential concept, but this really needs a lot more thought into user experience.
To start with look at changing the folder controls to make them easier to select.
This is a very original approach and I'll going to watch this one with interest...

Often only shows black screen on HTC legend.
The dock icons are too big and there is hardly any customization possible.
But it is a really interesting idea and different from other launcher. I'll stay tuned.

Unless I'm missing something the only place to add widgets is in the folder at the top of the screen. This limited the use of widgets... for example if I add a 2x2 clock thats all I can see and use unless I expand the folder. This is compounded by the difficulty in using the folder controls. Widgets are supposed to provide quick and easy access and viewing of apps and info you use most, currently this is lost in Claystone... If you could make widget use a little more traditional it would go a long way...
Like I said previously though the whole user experience would be vastly improved if you added larger controls to the folders making it quick and easy to expand/close etc.
Like ms_green says the dock is a little large and it makes the screen feel a little cramped.
A very short review, sorry for being blunt:
* On my Droid Incredible: great, now applications are even smaller/hard to read. UI is not very responsive. Toolbar buttons are too small but making them any bigger would mean even less real estate.
* Tablet: Ooooh now you're talking! The layout makes much more sense, especially in landscape mode. This is actually getting closer to WebOs' take on multitasked UI.
I think this app has a great future on tablets.
Ima dl right now

This is great!!! VERY GOOD!!! the concept is amazing
things u might want to improve:
The loading speed of panels are slow. Even opening the appdrawer takes no less than 3 seconds, not to mention browser etc
When u scroll vertically but a bit sideways on a panel it just pops u into another panel, very excruciating
Panels. seriously, all u can have is a home panel and a widget panel? i want to make my own (not just folders) for example media, games etc
"items" u can add. to be honest all there is is file explorer, browser and youtube (not to mention the youtube one really sucks). U need more of these "items", but i understand this is a beta
lol no offense
I could see this possibly having potential on a bigger screen, like a tablet maybe. But as it stands things feel too cramped on my 3.7 inch screen. Also things are a bit slow atm.
It's an interesting concept, but implemented in a moderately confusing fashion. The widget box resizes widgets oddly, making things look bulky, etc.
Great idea, though.
Opening the inbuilt contacts force closes the app for me.
But apart from that, a brilliant concept! I can't wait for new additions! Great job

You can create more panels ("folders") as well, you can copy and paste any item in any panel. In our next drop we are going to make it simple by adding applications to the "create" menu.

This is my first application for Android.
Market link: https://market.android.com/details?id=magory.solitairespiderhd
Version: 1.0 (fixed bug with reversing card and made scalable to other resolutions)
What is it? It's a spider solitaire game designed especially for tablets - works best on 1280x800 but it's fine also on 1024x600 or larger.
TO DO: saving state and game, localisation.
Bugs: please report.
Graphics: all used graphics are based on public domain works (from openclipart.org mostly) and my own.
All bug reports and suggestions appriciated. I hope you'll enjoy.
Nice ! Gonna try this out Have missed a good solitare app for high res screens.
I found a bug - when you play second time you can't deal cards from the decks on the bottom right. I'll fix it soon. Right know you have to exit the app and start it again to work around it.
One of the reasons I decided to make this solitaire for Transformer was because there are only low resolution ones on the market and I'm a spider addict.
I updated the first post with Android Market links. The application now works also on smaller tablets (at least in my emulator) and has some bugs fixed.
Two minor issues. The icons for new game medium and new game hard seem to be swapped. In game and market show game as SpiderSolitaire HD but once installed it shows as SolitaireSpider.

Thanks. The first issue should be fix with next update (monday probably). The second one when I find how to change it.
Tried this on my wife's Nook Color and for the most part it works well. One issue is that the display is borked iin portrait mode. Can the application lock the orientation into landscape?

The orientation lock will be turned on in the next update (should be soon, I just posted it to the Market but it takes time).
New version works very well on Nook Color. My wife is very happy, I am not much of a Spider player so I didn't install this on my TF.
One suggestion. The very edge of the digitizer makes selection a bit harder than it should be, is it at all possible to lower the playfield just a bit to move it from the top edge.

I had this problem on an e-reader so I know the pain. I'll think how to fix it. Maybe adding an option to move it lower.
I published a new version, should be available in a few hours. Turns out I forgot to publish one version that fixed some crash (because the new market ability to upload more than one apk confused me). So this version is a bigger jump.
It has new features:
- simpler moving cards (you can now move 7,6,5,4,3 on a 4 - it will move 4,3 then),
- sound,
- ability to hide options (and then the cards are in larger distance from the borders).
What solitaires you like the best? I'm going to make a few others soon probably. Right now am working on Klondike, but don't know which are most popular...

I'm a fan of Klondike personally. It's a great time waster. I suck at Spider, never could get adjusted to the methods. Nice work.

What would you like to be improved on your stock Sensation
Htc Sensation improvements & bugfixes
Improvements:
Android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 (mainly for gtalk video)
Improved speed.
Improved stability.
Battery life improvements.
Ability to remove certain apps like htc locations, peep, friends stream, stocks, reader, dices & teeter.
Bugfixes:
WiFi deathgrip.
Screen unresponseness.
Mail app keeps storing the same attachments a 100 times!?
Please add things you would like to see in the next update (i hope someone from Htc will read this)
I just got my Sensation 3 days ago. Here's what I'm wanting so far:
- these 7 spinning Home pages - I cant seem to get a few to go away
- the phone pad covers up the speakerphone and end call/call buttons
- stop the BRIGHT light on start-up....make it black or something
- delete apps, or organize apps
- obviously the speaker sucks, so anything to improve that
- be able to adjust the auto-brightness - down some at least
- my turn-off automation doesnt seem to stop all the automation
*keep in mind i'm a noob, prob some simple answers to these I just dont know yet
I'd like it to feel like it actually has two cores running at a higher clockspeed than the Desire HD, instead of feeling slower.
Being able to remove inbuilt applications in the applications console would be great.
Apart from that, tis nice
I would just like to see them refine Sense 3.0, the home screen lag and constant reloading are too annoying. If they refined the launcher to use less RAM and fixed some of the bugs, I'd be happy.
you and me both...

this is the only phone, out of the EVO 3d, Samsung g2 and the LG G2x where the validity, or visible evidence of dual core speed is perpetually questioned. Whether Sense is not "optimized" or one core is working until certain processes need it, the phone does not, IMO, hang with its competition in its stock form.
ps- did I mention that I would like the FIRST FREAKING UPDATE here in the UU on T-Mo. Everyone else around the globe wants "another" one and we have yet to get our first (to my knowledge).
Speaker improvement, try and alleviate the WiFi issues, better BT support, and just overall optimization.
What I would like is to get the contact I am pressing instead of someone else in the text messaging.......... I have no idea how this is still an issue Oh and perhaps sense not restarting every time I exit a program, getting a little tired of the white HTC screen!

The tweaks are stolen from team Venom's ROM that is for One X but still the combination of Fallout base with them is just marvelous.
It has an option for AOSP lockscreen, configurable quick settings, but in a separate tab, etc. Worth checking just for the play

English and Chinese
But if you copy the files from the attachment to the respective folders in /system/customize, before flashing you will have all languages
The keyboard offers you to download your language when you have internet connection
And it is Sense 4.1. I am definitely keeping this as a daily. It is based on Fallout so should be less resource hungry than Virtuous Infinity (just a theory at that point)
Hint: it comes with aroma installer in Chinese but there are not much options, so just click the green button (that should be Next) and it installs. At the very first screen there are 2 options - first is to wipe dalvik+cache, second is a full wipe.Then just next...
