HTC Topaz - Wallpaper Changer

I've built this application: Wallpaper Changer v1.0
As the name says it changes the wallpaper manually or automatically, taking everytime a random jpg file from the local "My Pictures" folder of PPC.
Now I'd really like to have some feedback from those that are interested in order to develop it further.
So please leave me a message here if you want to have it.

Also just wondering but can you specify the frequency the wallpaper changes and also is there an option to set the order of the change?

You were very fast... thank you for your interest. Sure, you can set the change frequency. I don't understand what you mean by the order... but this order is random in this version.

hmmm... its a great idea and seems it will be a great application, but it needs a little more work.
I have a HTC Touch Dual and its not working on mine...
How about:
- Not being only for HTC's? All ppc's can have a wallpaper image, right?
- Allowing the user to choose where to get the wallpapers from?
- Allowing the user to customize the time (X minutes/hours).
BTW, if you edit the first post this is the best way to share the app:

Actually this is the only version that worked on my wm6.5 so far...
It only has a few quircks, the folder selection is very limited and the app has to be open for it to change the walllpaper...

Thank you very much for your interest in my application. This error of yours is most probable because you don;t have any jpg files in the local "My Pictures" folder. I recommend to copy some there. Anyway I will consider this case and will fix it in the next release. I will also do so that the user has the chance to choose its own folder from which WPChanger to pick up images. Thanks... so be tune ... maybe for this weekend.

Doesnt seem to be the author he just put the app

works well, the only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been viewing the pictures in order as i have a lot of sequences of pictures of things like sunsets/day night etc. Rather then just the random.

Later today a new version WPChanger v1.1 will be released ... It will be posted in a new topic because is very good technique to see the user ratings per each version. This way I can keep track of what steps to do next.

the answer is realy interesting and it is know from here that the program is paid or you will be paid by the developer. Adding picture is very easy but develeper can not post the pic, it is funny!!!

Also, why this game isn't simply on the android market?

Everyone that installed the game : uninstall it for the moment, or be really carefull with your credit, check it very oftenly when you run the game to be sure it's not a virus sending SMS to foreign numbers.

[WLP][2.3+] Space Portal Live Wallpaper

I made a live wallpaper with portal in space "shooting" objects from it. It works on both phone and tablets (landscape and portrait) and it uses OpenGL. You can choose the objects to appear from the portal, set the portal rotation speed and amount of objects on screen. This is the first version, I'm gonna work more on this [college] project so please if you have an idea for object / option don't be shy

Maybe I'll add sharks in the next release I try to avoid living things because (as ridiculous as it sounds) living things don't seem realistic in this case (they are still images). If anyone has a request for an objcet / option to add I'll be delighted to hear you.

Maybe dead sharks then? You should think about adding more settings (changing the portal image for instance).

Well I'm considering adding some more settings. I would like to add "select image from phone" feature, but this will propably take lot of time for me to do it well. Thanks for feedback!

If you don't want to do something time consuming, maybe add some "small" options first. For instance "select rotation image" or "select background", that kind of things.

fyi the wallpaper freezed randomly when I returned to desktop from another app. It works again now, but stopped for some time.

Hi, I added a new version with portal type selection and more stuff! I also optimized the app, so it takes less space now. @korobczj if you can please check if the app can freeze like the last time (you owe me for the sharks :laugh: )

So it can still freeze if I select every object in the highest setting, you should put a warning not to select too much of "types" or something.

It's been an incredible journey since me and Liam Spradlin started this project. We set to create the best gallery for Android, providing the best user experience with the best design inspired by Material.
I speak for myself, but I'm sure for Liam Spradlin too, we're incredibly proud of this first production version. I can finally use a gallery that doesn't suck and I can organize my media files exactly like I want to - and I don't need to be signed in to a cloud service to do so.
We're also incredibly happy about the features we were able to cram in. I can't wait for you to try them all and have a pleasant experience.
There's obviously much more to come and I look forward to integrate Google Photos support for Focus 1.1 and much more!

Nope, but we're looking at that possibility for the future.

Good game actually, but why so small amount of downloads?

It's a fun game. The song that comes with it is really catchy too!
I did have an issue where the entire screen went black and got stuck when I launched the game.

Well, maybe becase of i'm indie developer and i don't have money for promotion and advertising. I have sent reviews on sites and they have not published yet. But maybe i'm simply noob and do something wrong...

Unfortunately haven't been able to recreate it. All I remember is that it happened after the screen that says "Akadem n shutka".

Ok. Probably it is a rare occasion on a specific device. But i will try to make some additional tests to find a reason and fix it.

I have found a reason. It is bacause of proguard settings. It happens sometimes on one of my testing devices when the app was hided and then reopened. I will try to fix it. Thank you very much again.

Agreed. I just released my first game, and it's gotten me a good few installs. Still playing around with the budget and target cost per click. Soon after joining, I also got an email with a promo code. After spending $25 I'll get $100 of advertising free. Definitely worth a shot!
