I live in Nashville, TN and wanted to know how to get missing cities added to the Weather portion of HTC Touch Homepage. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
Extract HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml from this zip file and overwrite your current one in the /windows directory.

I've found that there are a lot of cities that just don't exist in the format the plugin needs. I doubt there is any way to changes this, it's going to be either accuweather's or HTC's call as to whether the list will grow or not. I've even tried adding the zip code like another post said, i.e. NAM|US|PA|HOOTERVILLE|17069 but still no dice.

You are absolutely right. A couple small cities in my area won't work after I got the correct entries from accuweather and edited the XML file.
Weather - countries
I have a whole country that doesn't work ;-)
From the Accuweather web site I can get valid looking parameters (and a nice forecast of course) but they dont work from the plugin.

Sorry to say that I have the same problem. I think it is more down to the plugin and the access it has to Accuweather than the parameters themselves.

FYI, your download links give a 404 error.
I'm curious, would there be any way to make an XML file with, say, the 50 largest cities in the US (assuming that they are supported by the plugin) and then allow you to choose from a list which ones you want to use in the plugin? Or would that try to pull data from all of them and choke things up?

nice to see the guys in mn too. anyways have you guys disabled your plugin when overwriting you files. that's what's recommended for my weather plugin, once files have been overwritten you can reactivate the pluggin. hope that helps. oh and by the way could someone post a screenshot id like to see how it look likes thanks.

Ok I have a tilt and a 8525. On my 8525 I have flash it with PV DVH BUILD19202. Alright now this rom has a missed call and mail(email,text) feature that I've never seen in a Kaiser rom. When you get a message you get a mail envelope icon and when there's a missed call there's a phone icon. What I like about it most is when you click on the mail it opens up big and its only that message that you see. I tried to run a search but when you don't know what there called it hard to find what your looking for. I would like to put on my tilt. Here are some screen shots:

Need a screenshot. Try a different image format. jpg or png maybe.

You managed to flash a ROM so you should be skilled enough to compress or change the format of a picture. Is there a Wiki on this to help this person out?

Your right that did sound kinda stupid didn't it forget me. Sometimes you really need to just slow down and take a moment to think.
yea whatever that application is it looks kinda cool and useful. Does it do anything else?
Look in your today screen plugins and see what is listed. Check your programs to.
Under Settings / Today / Items, what is checked off? I haven't seen this ether.

try using those screenshots in the forum related to the phone you had the application on. Then come back and report here when someone answers you.

i wouldn't recommend installing it. It completely fk'd up my device and a lot of settings.

Please elaborate on what this did to your device. Did you install to memory card or phone memory?

Yes this is cook into the rom on my 8525. I just put it on my tilt and it work perfect with no issues.

you can see your cell id you can check your signal strange more detailed than the bars on top are showing.
its a gimmick. but the pros may need it so it might be usefull for someone outthere-

I'm looking for a .apk Manager.
Not for one on my phone, or to organize the apps on my phone.
What I'm looking for is a Windows application, Win7 64bit compatible, that will organize my 4.7gb worth of .apk's i have on my computer. Ideally, automatically detecting version numbers, and removing old versions of the same app etc.

Current Bugs:
Takes about 2 and half minutes for it to add the website you choose to the list, not that big of a deal. However I’m working on fixing it.

Btw I read on neowin about this tool deleting logins etc.
I think it has to delete browsing history or clear the cache in order to work. I dont think it will work without deleting one of those.
Let me know if you find a method to make it work without the need to delete browsing history and then ill add it to the other thread.

Yeah it will delete your stored login information.
I think i can get it to work without deleting the saved password information. I will be working on that this weekend along with a few more tweaks. I really just wanted to get it out there and have more people testing it.
If someone can confirm exactly what needs to be cleared I can adjust the settings in the script. Otherwise I will do my testing and find out.

Will not work for me gives me an error saying
duplicate files exists or cannot find file, something along them lines. I have not added any address manually and I restored the default list as shown in the video.
What am I doing wrong?

Ah can you please open the run command and navigate to %temp% and delete everything within and let me know if it works after that. if it does I can fix this in the next release.

Hey so I looked into it for you. I got it to work it wasn't to hard. So what is happening is the acutal video is hosted on another site so not only will you need to add slipstreamtv.com you will need to add the site that hosts the actual live TV. Now to find out the website that is hosting it all you have to do on a regular computer that has flash enabled you will need to right click where the video box is and click "settings" then click the little folder icon and it will show you the website where it is getting the stream from. I have posted pictures on how to do it.
However in this case it looks like slipstreamtv.com uses udemy.com but a lot one more website that I found by going through the HTML source of the website. I added the following site and it worked without an issue.

I have a question. Not to complain or anything. Why don't we set the required domain as "debug domain" in registry instead of messing with the white list? In my experience, using debug domain trick is much cleaner and it still allow the while list to get updated by Microsoft.

Hey, I choose to do it this way because I did not want to add a ton of strings into the Registry. I'd rather play around with the white list then with the registry. I will be updating the custom white list thats within the tool often so that it will be very much up to date as Microsoft and contain custom ones as well.
