Touchwiz Rom? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if there was a stock/pure Touchwiz Rom.

Nope - No Touchwhiz rom however you can flash this touchwhiz addon(UX) file to get GS3 look. It is for GS1 but i was able to flash it on my Nexus S Running Code Name Android Rom and it worked.

Installing Nexus S OTA Rom on Galaxy Ace?

I own both phones: the nexus s, and the galaxy ace.
I really like the stock Nexus S OTA rom, but the stock Galaxy Ace OTA roms have all this Samsung bloatware included with them. I've installed the custom Myth ICS rom on the Galaxy Ace, but I was wondering if I could install the Nexus S OTA rom on the Galaxy Ace?
If not, what would be the closest thing to the stock Nexus S OTA rom for the Galaxy Ace?
Check in galaxy ace android development if there is a fully aosp rom. You want it without touchwiz right?

You can't just flash it install nexus s Roms onto the g ace. Look at the development section for g ace and then flash a rom that is aosp and not touchwiz for your g ace.

Yep.. i dont like touchwiz either. I have it on my galaxy tab 10.1 3G, i want to remove it but ill wait for the ICS update

To start this out Ive been messing around with roms installed a few, Now running latest KINGKang build not functional right now

If you like Touchwiz, I would say Synergy. AOSP I would go with CM10.
Yea well I'm into ASOP MORE than JELLYWIZ just because I feel its just a better ui interface n smooth operation. Anyways its just my opinion and would like everyones elses

Android 4.2 touch wiz ROM

is it an impossibility to take a 4.2 base and add touch wiz UI for GS3?
Recently saw this ROM below for the Gnex.
EDIT: looks like Hellsrom by H3llsdroid seems to have done something along those lines

Someone just posted an TW android 4.2 ROM called Hellsrom.
That doesn't have touchwiz features, just themed to look like it. To answer your question, yes it is impossible.

I don't think so it is much easier to port Sense 5 then it is to port an i9300 ROM.
I doubt it. From everything I've read the leaked 4.2.2 that went out is glitchy and buggy as all hell. I'm sure someone out there is working on it, but seriously doubt you'll see it anytime soon

What's Gonna be the First Custom Rom?

I don't mean like the stock rom rooted, i mean a port of CM or MIUI that's stable. What do you hope to be the first stable custom rom?
Personally, I've used Miui since i had my first Droid X, used it on my Nexus as well. Hoping for it on my S5 some time
I bet it will be a hyperdrive rom ran through safestrap.

I've ported roms myself to my galaxy nexus prior, but obviously with not much known about the S5, i'm not sure I wanna risk self porting. I'm trying to port a CM rom
We aren't going to see any of those ported to the normal vzw s5 because we have a locked bootloader. All we'll see, for now, is touchwiz.

Don't be so sure of that. The S4's is still locked (NON MDK) for almost a year now with no success. There's plenty of good TW based ROMs though, Eclipse being my favorite which he said when he gets an S5 he will create one.

I HOPE SO!!! Loved Hyper on my GS4. Almost went back to it since we didn't have root. SUPER glad we are making progress towards getting ROMS, root & SS. Who is the maker of HD?? Any rumblings around the GS5 HD ROM??
I don't care which one comes out first, as long as it's dark...

closest we might get to aosp is a google play edition rom.. they run off stock kernel usually but are not cm miui etc.. check out vzw s4 forum as they have some already that work with the stock kernel

I would kill a new born baby for gpe rom
i would love paranoid android or pac-man... having control over the dpi and screen size settings per-app is a necessity for me!

Bootloader is locked on this device, and likely won't ever get cracked. So no custom recoveries which means no custom kernels and no custom ROMs. There is only safestrap which will only allow you to flash touchwiz based ROMs, so no AOSP based ROMs.
