Im going straight to it.
I dont know how or from what,im still getting to know this stuff,but my camera stopped working.When i go to the application all the icons come out but the camera itself wont give me a picture as if a "lense" is closed!
I also noticed that my camera firmware is gone.
So if anyone knows how to install it back using ODIN or CWM,il be realy thanfull.

The build number difference is normal, for example devices here in Qatar come with Baseband JXKP6 and Build JXKPH.
Now, for the camera issue, what happened before this started happening? did you flash anything? changed any settings? dropped the device or even had some water damage? More information please
Im still learning how to flash properly but after each flash the camera was working so i dont know when it actually happend.No drops and no water damage.
May be clearing data and cache from application setting of camera should work.....!!!

just open odin click pda select ddkp3 firmware and flash it ur problems will b solved

dont jump to conclusions ! u get fc !! he doesnt ! i'd say just restart ur phone n it'll fix ur problem if it doesnt flash stock !

but i am on stock kpu... my camera has the same problem... it's all black and after a minute it's just force closing...
that seems like a lib problem ! flash kpe>kpu or kpq and it will b fixed

i had kpe for a long time and it didn't work there too... i've tried kpq too... nothing has worked till now and i'm on kpu since it's the latest... i want to clean the camera cache as someone stated earlier but i don't know how...

in settings-apllications-manage applications i found both firmware camera and camera app but they both didn't had data at all... 1 kb to be exact... tried to clean them but there was nothing to clean...
Did u clean install? I mean repartition with .pit file before install kpe then kpu

with latona.pit file? yes i did my friend...
Then u should go to service center. It might be the hardware problem.

i think i will have to do it myself... it's the same cam as the 9000 and i can replace it myself... i don't wanna go to the samsung center..

Opening your phone and doing any fixes yourself voids your warranty and gives you a bigger chance of failing and making even more damage, just go to the service center.

Is this Rom at least is less buggy and more smooth for games.. I think at least samsung should listen to the customers opinion and release smoother roms instead of just changing their name and releasing the same lagging roms ..

You can always change recovery.img in the tar file to a custom one. (or delete it)

Yes, if you know how to do that, of coz, you know what to do.

Flash it via ODIN buddy (just as you would do for any Stock ROM.) But don't do a factory reset after flashing ICS. Rather first flash CWM via ODIN and then flash ardatdat's secure kernel via CWM. Then you can safely do a factory reset in ICS!:good:

Buddy that is not because of bootloader! The UI(most of it) is decided by the launcher you use. For Galaxy R, Samsung has still managed to stick to the old TW launcher that was use in GB. That is the reason you find that the menu style is similar!
If you want a true Stock ICS feeling, try NOVA launcher or APEX launcher from the playstore!

i have some problem with my piramyd .. i cant open camera, secunday camera and flash light ( in stock firmware flash light work ) and battery fast drain...
i try many rom.. but.. camera still not working.. battery life = 7 - 8 min if i open camera & flashlight ... i reboot to recovery, wipe chake and battery life is 30 - 40 min .. any solution ?
my current rom is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115520 .. build 10 don`t work.. it`s booting and after htc logo phone is shut down..

Try just using version 09.
I am using it without any problem.
Version 10 is having a few problems for some people.

i have android 4.2.1 ( link in first post )
but.. camera don`t work with any ROM..
in z-device test camera, secundary camera, radio and flash it`s not detected..

I am running version 09 and I have no problem with the camera.
Try flashing a different version of the ROM,and see if the problem persists.

That is...very old.
Samsung's naming convention goes like XXAMB1, XXAMB2 ... XXAMB9, XXAMC1, XXAMC2. I would suggest flashing the latest XXAMC2 firmware with Odin. You can find firmwares specific for your device here : http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=GT-I9105
Choose the firmware that contains the region closest to yours, and flash with Odin.

Firmware contains kernel, so yes download the firmware, and make sure to flash according to instructions. It will probably work with you as well with no issues.

i dont have camera app and when i go to it after using lock screen it says "can't connect to the camera"
i watched a lot on google but still nothing..i even found and instaled another 4.2 cam ....and it also gives me that message!!!
problem is next:
1. how to fix my cam?!
2. how to get rid of other one and double gallery ?!

Look,I would recommend to flash the Pure Galaxy 1.0 taht is running on android jellybean 4.1.2 and it have a working camera
I would recommend flashing CyanogenMod 10.2
In the latest build camera is also working

Try Ex kernel manager if it is compatible with your mobile ....its available on playstore... If it dosent helps then message me...

but sad news the device is not rooted , and it has stock kernel and rom
i can't change them as the device owner requested
The repair center told me it needs a screen cable / connector / card
Am not sure what he means
