i have got a camera apk from a different rom and tried to install it on the cyanogen mod rom ...but it dose not install.ive tried puting it in the /system/app and it still dose not work.......is there a way to install it

Depends on where u got the apk from. If u got it from a sense rom then it wont work on CM rom or AOSP/AOKP roms etc etc. Also what android version did u get the apk from and what version ur trying to install it on.

with the JB rom im afraid ul just have to try a few from the playstore or maybe from another 4.2.2/4.1.2 rom but id say they r all the same so playstore would be ur best bet.

[SOLVED] Can't connect to camera

I have recently flashed my device with CM 10.1 and when i try to open camera it says ** Can't connect to camera ** . I have tried almost everything. Even FIX CAMERA CM10.1 BY Linq'z Qirls'z Chinese and too may other tutorials too , but nuthing has worked for me Please help.

just install latest build cm10.1.2 and camera will work and use camera jb+ for video recording

Yes, the camera problem was fixed but need to fix by yourself after flashing CM10.1.2.
In that android development, you can find out what you need because someone had asked those problem concerned.
Just check it out and happy flashing 4.2.2 for S7500.

hi everyone.
i just flahsed on my phone cyanogenMod 10.1 and jelly bean 4.2.....everything works great,except my camera
i dont have camera app and when i go to it after using lock screen it says "can't connect to the camera"
i watched a lot on google but still nothing..i even found and instaled another 4.2 cam ....and it also gives me that message!!!
problem is next:
1. how to fix my cam?!
2. how to get rid of other one and double gallery ?!

That not a big problem;just flash your recovery again or flash another version of your recovery

and i have no local radio(that is not using wifi)

Hmmm thats strange...
Look,I would recommend to flash the Pure Galaxy 1.0 taht is running on android jellybean 4.1.2 and it have a working camera

I would recommend flashing CyanogenMod 10.2
In the latest build camera is also working

Hi,
I'm already very desperate... I really need help! I have a problem with the camera on a mobile phone. (Pyramid, XE) I've tried almost everything -> Reset APP(cash clear), reset phone, reset APK, another application, another ROM Still the same problem: cannot connect to camera
I currently installed ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530073
I really do not know what is wrong, but as I've rivers, it does not matter what ROM to upload phone camera will not work ...

Camera again not working... I have simple question. Why it does not work as well as others? The same hardware so what else they have?
It is a driver for the camera?(for kitkat) I can understand that it would somehow beyond repair.

Hi
I have an htc one e8 dual sim ( M8SD). i was looking to install cm13 on it but this device is not supported by cm13. However, they do support a dual sim
version of the htc one m8. Is it recommended to flash that version?

Did anybody try this rom? If so, which version do u have?

I tried but didn't work.Guess I've to update twrp before flashing.Also cm roms are usually smaller.It won't brick your phone.Just make a twrp backup in case

Don't worry, your phone will not brick if you flash this rom. Because, i tried and now i'm using this rom and feeling so good with it. This rom is too small because it not include google apps in this . You must flash Gapps pack after flash this rom if you want to use google services.
But, camera in this rom is worse. not as good as stock camera so it's ok.
Totally, I love this rom more than stock rom.

Good morning, My phone model is m8sd and it's dual sim version. But, after i flashed this rom i checked it again in Setting - About and it's became m8sw

Downloading from Baidu
for high speed full download from baidu...Install the desktop app as prompted ...then create a weibo account...Weibo has a englih website so its comparatively easy than baidu...then sign in to baidu desktop app using weibo sign in..then download the cm 13 file using baidu downloader

Google Play services has stopped

Please share the link of the gapps pack u have flashed with this rom...the ones i ve downloaded are not working...google play services has stopped error message popping..

Its ok..Finally after many failed attempts, I found a working version of Gapps package, link below

You will have to wipe cache & dalvik before flashing gapps. it should work then
