Peteralphonso ics nightlies run pretty damn great. Never had a problem. Its pretty much stock ics which I prefer, not much of a fan of modded stuff.

I think they're referring to Eugene's kernel found here

And I agree, Codename Android and Eugene's kernel have been the best combo for me

I've run several ICS ROMs since getting my NS and I would definately concur that Codename is fantastic. They're on 1.4 now I believe.
I would definitely try Air Kernel by r_data as well. Its so smooth. Best I've tried yet.

S talk ( siri style ) SGS3 for Gnote

Just curious if someone is willing or will port the S voice that is out now on the SGS 3 to the Gnote.. because the built in one that comes with the Gnote does not work the way that the new version that is on the Galaxy S3 . and since its the same hardware. i think it should be able to be ported.
No worries, this will most likely be ported to whatever build of ICS you will choose in the future, or a stand-alone CWM install.
I just hope it is soon

Welcome to my world. It is a shame because I am betting a vanilla AOSP rom would run great on this tablet compared to the TouchWiz rom which is fine until I use it after using my Galaxy Note 2 and then it feels a bit sluggish.
I assume that the problem is the modem. I am not sure if flashing a ROM for one of the wifi models will boot. I am scared to try.

Just wondering if there is any change. Or maybe someone that is working on a rom for this. Thanks
You are lucky. At least you have JB. I have the ATT I497 and it still has ICS. Been trying to find out if I could at least install your ROM on my tablet but no one ever answers. Development is dead for these 2 versions.
