Hey.. I was wondering if this door will work with my t-mobile Sensation 4G since i don't see no difference and the description say's "Not for T-mobile Sensation". I don't see why it's not going to work. If anyone wants to try, Please let me know
This is my first post, and i cannot post outside links, just Copy+paste on ebay the following to see the case :
for HTC Sensation 4G Z710e White Housing Back Cover Case Repair Fix Part ZVHS559
I just ordered one. I'll get back to you between Feb 14 and Feb 28 when I get it. However it looks exactly the same as the black replacement housing I bought. It's missing whatever antenna connection is there on the left under the speaker grill. I use T-Mobile in Spokane, WA and switching between my original back with the antenna and the replacement I can't notice a difference in 3G/4G, WiFi, BT, or GPS signal strength.
Thanks for pointing those out, I just looked 2 days ago for a white back for my wife's S4G and could only find the $100 listings. It looks as if someone over there just got a very large shipment of them as eBay seems to be flooded now. From the pictures it looks like it may not be a genuine HTC replacement part, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Looks fine. Most likely a counterfeit. But it should function just fine.
Been watching the prices of these..
I don't like how they were $25.00 dollars and because of the popularity of the product they raised the price to $100 even $40 dollars with S+H is over priced.
Regular Sensation housings are going on ebay for $15+ Brand New
So far cheapest price I could find on a white G18 housing is $31 dollars.

Yeah, I've been using my black housing for about 6 weeks now and haven't had any issues. I use GPS all the time for navigation, and I use WiFi and bluetooth tether with my W7 laptop and TF101 tablet on a regular basis. I can't tell the difference at all.
got mine for 35 bucks on Amazon, forget ebay it took three days to arrive all the sensation xe covers work on this Tmobile sensation the extra connect.point I's something they discontinued on the xe because it wasn't.needed and to save cost everything works fine same quality as stock but it fits better.

I will buy that! If anyone can send me a link of a cheap white back door with Beats Audio on the back, PLEASE SHARE
There you go.....I haven't got a clue whats happened to the pricing of these things mind....I bought mine a month or so ago and it was less than £20http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HTC-Sensation-XE-Z715e-Back-battery-Case-Cover-Housing-Antenna-Replacement-White-/200670881682?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2eb8eaa792

The extra connection point is for a second antenna. The non-US Sensation did not have this either. I'm guessing that the T-Mobile network just needed to have that extra antenna; otherwise, it would have too shoddy a connection...
I'm guessing that switching from the 4G to this casing (2 antennas to 1 antenna) would reduce your signal by a bit, but I would not be able to tell you how much that "bit" is. Anybody willing to run some tests?

People like I, are on tmous and have the back cover on without the 4th antenna. Results are same across the board, no wifi/data/4g reduction in signal. The back works fine on the Tmous networks.
I got mine for $40 on ebay. wifi, GPS, and mobile network work just fine.
I ended up selling the original cover for $30
Just got the back yesterday from the ebay link in the OP. Took it 6 days from Hong Kong. Works just like my other backs, as in there is absolutely zero difference in operation.
where are you guys finding the cover for $30-$40? I bought mine from no.1-tech back in november and paid $32 and then gave it to my wife, now looking for another one from the same manufactuer, and its $200+ lol when did the sudden price spike take place?! are there any white ones with out the beats audio logo on the back for that price range anymore?

so i would really like to have my back cover replaced, mainly because i dropped it like skrillex... . anyhow, i would really like the black one with the red accents or a white one... but on ebay the prices are just soo much, a normal one is around 18 bucks, im ok with that but 30plus? i think is a little high, anyhow i just want to ask if anyone knows where is a good place with good prices to get either the white or black with red accents.
by the way im almost 100% sure they are all the same meaning the ones with red accents, beats audio is compatible with the tmo version and the other way around right?
good luck on that one i got my black and white covers for 50 on ebay

Well it's not just any back cover. It's "unibody" aluminum and it has our antennas in it
The only WHITE back cover I can find in the US is on an Ebay listing for $56 and says it's for the Sensation XE. Any idea if this will work for the USA TMO Sensation?
My cover has got some wear and scuffs too and I'm looking for a re-fresh. I found one Ebay listing that used to sell them for $29, then bumped it up to $39, then bumped it up to $49 and finally, bumped it up to $249!! He's sold one at $249.

Not so sure about that because Non-TMO Sensations (and XE's by extension) only has 3 antenna contacts vs 4 contacts on the TMO version. It might work but they included 4 contacts there for a reason so your mileage will definitely vary.

No one knows why the 4th antennae is. I just know it works with the three provided.

But then why you can get a normal one for maybe 17 bucks? But the white one is a lot of money and the beats one is 30 plus... I really don't see the why on the prices differences, I'm sure the cost to put some red accents or white plastic is not that much to justify it.

To be sure it's not your cover, take it off and press the power button without the cover. Be sure it's not the cover! Otherwise you'll just blow some cash for something you didn't really need! and yes, the power button is included as well as the volume
Just a bit of info, not every country that HTC in just sends a new back door.I'm arguing the toss with HTC UK because i need new volume buttons. They want me to send the whole device for repair as "they need to check serial numbers for warranty"

I've been looking everywhere for a genuine original HTC Desire battery, but it seems impossible to find them! I've even ordered an expensive one from an eBay seller, but it's just a fake, which looks very similar on the front side but has different backside. It says "Manufactured by Formosa Electronic" in very small text.
Do you have experience that which of these sellers are posting genuine HTC batteries from Amazon?

Or should I just buy the German PolarCell from eBay?

Have you been able to recently find a genuine HTC battery for normal price, like around 10 pounds?
It's funny that you ask because I have been looking for a battery today. I found this website that appears to be genuine http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc.aspx but it isn't cheap (about £35).
I'll look forward to the feedback on your other options. I bought one for a Sony Xperia (not mine) for £8 from Amazon and it was fine, but the reviews for the Desire batteries don't look good.
Hi,
recently i bought a "geniue" Battery for my Desire on ebay from a german seller.
When it came, it appeared to be original, but when i installed it, it gave me constant voltage and temperature values. So it was a faked one. I sent it back and became one behaving exactly the same. So i got my money back.
The next one was on Amazon, but not directly from Amazon. It also looked original, but it didn`t fit perfectly and it didn`t even charge. I´m waiting for a replacement atm. I´m still hoping to get a good one. All were about 10 Euro
so 7 pound?

And the genuine one is 35 pound?
eBay 101 - lesson one - when something looks too good to be true, chances are it isn't.
Original one is around 30€ from registered reseller, 40€ HTC original
I think it's worth telling which seller did we buy from.
The fake which looked almost like the original was from "phonemarketuk" on eBay.
Now I've ordered one from "FoneM8store" from Amazon UK. I'll report when it arrives!
Before I was able to buy an original one from a seller for 7 pounds, so there is hope!
If there is nothing else, I think the best route is to go with PolarCell from Germany.
I´m not sure if it is allowed to post seller´s names here?
I tested the one from Amazon with my battery tester. It had about 1000mAh so the problem is not only the missing of values, but it has also less capacity than the original. Mine has about 1200mAh after 1.2 years.
But the worst was when i applied 5Volts to the Battery, it didnt switch off. So
this could be dangerous if anything in the charger circuit goes wrong.
Hi,
a few days ago the replacement was delivered. This one is original, and has about 1300mAh, so it seems that it was liing around some time.
But all in all ok, cost: 9,60€
Seller: WUSAR (who wants to give it a try)
on ebay, only boxed versions
I've got mine from amazon.de. After two sellers sold me fake ones (in a little plastic bag) for about 10 Euro I bought one directly from amazon. The result: I got a little HTC Box which a genuine battery for about 15 Euros. I dont think amazon.co.uk will sell you fake ones if you buy them directly from them.
Can you post a link? In Amazon.co.uk at least I've spend _ages_ looking for a genuine but there was none, and Amazon wasn't selling any directly.

Hi!
HTC SAV recommended me the HTC Accessory Store as the official HTC reseller. The battery for HTC Desire is expensive (~40 Euros) but I'm bored searching for the cheapest OEM one after being deceived from 2 reputated sellers (not on ebay) with fake ones.
Has anyone ever ordered the battery from that site (htcaccessorystore.com which is in fact Expansys company) ?
And the real question is : is that the genuine one that came with the phone and can be calibrated... ?
Thanks!

I think the conclusion was that the only way to get genuine battery is to buy from the main Amazon.de shop. Be careful, not to by from a reseller, but from the amazon.de seller. Also, on this page one of them is fullfilled by amazon and it says 100% original, it might work.

You can look for a AOONEN BB99100 BATTERY FOR DESIRE A8181 on ebay: I bought one 3 month ago and it is a very reliable battery, last the same as than the original one.
I'm very pleased with it.
Mugen Power Battery Case for HTC One XL video review. The case comes in black and white colours, check their website. I have made the video review below. Link to their website is http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/htc/htc-one-xl.html I love these guys have bought batteries for my HTC Sensation and Desire Z and they perfom so much better than the stock batteries. Dont buy those cheap ones of ebay which cost less than $40. They wont last as long as these guys. Hit Thanks If you like
Just a public service announcement as well. If you want something more "generic" which can power just about any mobile device (though admittedly it won't be as integrated as Mugen's battery cases - which are very good if you want that form factor), Daily Steals has what looks to be a good one on sale (mon 8/6):
http://www.dailysteals.com/
The reviews shows these guys as shady, but I did buy a gnex from them and besides a delay in the shipping, they fulfilled their end of the transaction.

6000 is a little excessive considering our battery is 1800. We only need 3200 to make it last pretty darn long but yeah like you said it's only a bit more

From what I see, the 6000mah you'll have to charge it separate, the 3200 mah one you can charge in the same time with the phone... Does it makes it much thicker? Just curious, cause I still think the stock one is plenty enough for me.

just want to see how much thicker it makes the phone. I kind of enjoy the profile of the HTC One X
I'm concerned about the speakerphone being muted with that case. It already isn't that loud without a case on it.

the 6000mah is 22mm thick

I doubt you'll find a genuine battery for $15. There's not point in going cheap on a battery, it just causes problems.
If you can't afford one right now save for another week or two and get a real HTC battery.

OEM isn't a priority. If they had an Anker battery or something of similar quality / reputation, that's what I would want.
