Dear all the experts developer,
I am currently using HTC sensation (rooted, s-off, super cid) with custom rom Hypersensation 2.2.
B4 flashing that rom, I was using sense 3.6 stock ICS which works fine with Myanmar fonts.
Here is how i did for that rom.
1- Copy MM font file (name is ZawGyi fonts) from computer and change the file to DroidSanFallback.ttf
2- Paste to SD card
3- Use ES file explorer and paste that DroidSanFallback.ttf to /system/fonts.
Everything went well. But when I flash hypersensation 2.2, everything went perfectly except the about 3 steps stuck at pasting the file to /system/fonts/.
An error message appered as "DroidSanFallback.ttf copying failed".
COULD SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME WITH THIS ?

Hi,
I used root explorer(file browser) application at my galaxy note. Before step paste, need to hit "mount r/w" (read/write)on explorer. That will allowed pasting. Try.

i can paste in system/fonts/droidsanfallback.ttf.
but it doesn't work, still mm font disappearing in FB or browser.
i have zawgyione.ttf and which system font should i replaced with?

I just got it worked by replaced Roboto-Regular.ttf with the one i have.
using Root explorer.

I'm trying to install Thai fonts in my X10 (rooted) using Type Fresh (so I can learn it) but my permissions keep going back to Read Only (Root Explorer). I have seen to follow step 4 in Bluemoko's thing but it is all in Thai so I cant find anything.
Another suggestion was to unzip ฟ้อนไทยลงใน sd card หรือยังครับ but again where do I find it and what should I do?

did you try to change mount R/O or mount R/W before you wanna copy or paste the file?
I have been using Type Fresh and Root Explorer so I have mounted the directory R/W after copying but the directory was already R/W before. Explorer then says that Typefresh has superuser access then after I reboot the directory is R/O again.

R/O is default action, btw. do you have busybox installed?
Hello wizkids I also download Type Fresh and add some theme succesfully. Anyone know were i can download the Thai fonts??

Goes for HTC EVO 3D too, as well as any 540×960 android phone.
Animation ported from "Google齿轮" MIUI theme.
Make it:
/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip, or
/system/customize/resource/TMOUS_bootanimation.zip, if you have a T-Mobile Sensation, or
/system/customize/resource/VF_bootanimation.zip, if you have a Vodafone Sensation.

Yeah i think it has something to do with permissions but I don't know how I can change this.
Tried to Google it but couldn't find it.
Ps. Using ASTRO to copy the files.

Use es file explorer from market (better than astro imho). Put on root option and mount system as writable. Then you can rename original bootanimation.zip and place new as bootanimation.zip. if you don't like new one, delete bootanimation.zip and rename original to bootanimation.zip

I think I am going mad I have flashed 4.1.7 and cant seem to find where to put the boot amimation? I thought I would have to replace one that is already there? sorry if a stupid question but if you can help it would be great
I have something caled downanimation in system/customize/resource but that is the only zip file in there, do I just to copy this file to this directory and reboot?
EDIT its ok it is in data/local if anybody else needs the file location

Using ES file explorer. Put on root? Do you mean root your device? If that case, I am rooted, and all that.
But I can't find System folder :S
Open ES, hit menu button, scroll down to "root options" section, turn on both options (root explorer and mount file system), exit menu, klik on the blue star on the left in de topbar and click on the "phone" icon. Then navigate to "system/customize/resource" or "data/local" (depends on the rom your using). than follow my earlier post. If you're done, turn of the option "mount file system" just to be sure you do not delete anything when scrolling around in your system partitions.

Thx! Now, just download bootanimation/downanimation and rename the new one? Then restart the device and all done?
And what happens if I accedentaly delete something when scrolling down?

I installed a custom rom and would like to reinstall the original htc dice-game.
I have the apk from another rom, it's called dice_ml.apk right ?!
I dont know how to install it, could someone help me please ?!

Howto (DICE):
1.) extract .zip and put the 2 files on your sdcard
2.) use your fileexplorer on your phone to put dice_ml.apk into your /system/app folder
3.) set Permission to:
Code:
OWNER: R W -
Group: R - -
ALL: R - -
4.) and put libdice_ml.so into your /system/lib folder
5.) set Permission to:
Code:
OWNER: R W -
Group: R - -
ALL: R - -
6.) Reboot

File manager and install the apk?

already tried this,but it did not work.
i put the apk in the /system/app folder and modified the permissions, but this also did not work...
any ideas?

Process stopped unexpectedly
I have a tmous rooted s4g with stock tmo rom. I tried installing the dice app following the instructions above (using root explorer) but I can't get it to run. I've checked the permissions on both files and have rebooted twice. Any suggestions?

I'm trying this and it doesnt work for me.
Using FileExpert, I copy the files and then paste into respective folders, it looks like they paste without problems, but I cant see or search for them?
I'm using a Virtuous rom.

It seems that Dice does not work on Sensation XE or any ROM based on Sensation XE.
Ahhh... That's not good ;/ I hope that someone will fix it one day I miss my dice since I've changed ROM to ARHD ;( Please can anyone deal with that issue so we can have our dices back ;D

Yes you can...........
1) download font http://www.bdwebguide.com/fonts/akaashnormal.ttf from here
2) if your Phone is rooted then follow from a to h otherwise goto step 3
a) Download ES File Explorer from market
b) Goto setting of (ES File Explorer), Root Option, Put Tick for root explorer and Mount
c) Rename your font to DroidSansFallback.ttf (Same Case)
d) Now put your font to SD card of your phone
e) open es file explorer and copy that font to System/Fonts directory
f) It will ask to replace, continue with Yes
g) Restart your phone, browse bangala website
h) You can also install multilang keyboard.
3) if your Phone is not rooted then
a) Install all drivers of your phone and ADB from googles website
b) now connect your phone to computer
c) open cmd
d) goto the folder where adb is located, ie platform-tools from command
e) in cmd for example:
C:\android-sdk-windows-1.1_r1\tools>adb push c:\downloads\fonts\DroidSansFallback.ttf /system/fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf
now you are done
Oh man thanks a lot... It's like magic... The font is better than others.. but the only problem is when it comes about the complex word.. it gets messy.. so can u suggest any better one...

Fern it is easier to press thank button than saying thanks. Just kidding..font is good but problem is with Android font rendering Engine which is unable to display very complex script. For this we need to wait google when devanagari script will be supported. No one is able to tweak font trending engine in this forum.
