someone tried this? someone can expect how much this is good? and etc...
read the feedback on ebay. not 1 good feedback about the batteries and apparently they are only 1700mAh
It is recommended to use only original batteries.
Take a look at Power Pack. I've got one, it's very nice
I want to buy a larger battery too, which one is your suggestion?
Greetz Bonnsay
what is Power Pack @przemcio510
It's kind of backpack for our sgs, cant paste there a link coz im new but type in google "samsung galaxy s power pack" you'll see
it's kind of extra back case of phone
I guess +extra 1500mah
somebody can share a link for a good and strong battery?
better will be that fit our original case...
but if there something that is good and have a massive power (high mAh)
than share it either! plz plz plz!

Look for Anker batteries on ebay, they are 1800mAh instead of the original 1500mAh and apparently good quality (I use two their batteries, so far so good).

I'm now searching, and find nothing...
buy polarcell batteries! search for it on amazon. They are true 1800 mah and they are considered the best without a new back cover. There's another thread here about that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277647 read some random pages in this threat and you'll see that everybody is happy with their polarcell (better than the anker). i've bought one this week, can't wait for it to arrive

indeed, i would recommend the original battery of the samsung epic 4g, has 1800mAh and fits perfect into the sgs.
i wouldn't recommend third party batteries, they're never worth the money..well, however, i don't like it also, when the phone is so clunky..
Battery
i recommend you to buy samsung 4g battery than fits prity good into the sgs.
my friend did it and have no problem till now
I Had a look at some of these batteries. I currently own the 1800mAh Anker battery. It was slightly cheaper than the Polarcell but it definitely doesn't lack in performance.
Since I bought the Anker I've been getting 2 days of charge running ICS so far. The Polarcell's are apparently better but I was pretty low on cash
If value is what you're worried about go Anker. If you want outright performance go Polarcell!
The el-cheapo 2500mAh aren't worth it. Some reviews have pointed out that they're just relabelled 1200mAh batteries.
For an original part and a little better, try i9003 battery. It has 1650 mAh, it's a little bigger, but if fits perfect, and it last longer. Obviosly. Good luck
I bought the "Polarcell 1800mAh" because I heard much good about it. There are no problems and I'm very happy.
It costs about 13€
A 2500mAh battery should logically be heavier and bigger than a normal one (I mean 1500 here). It can't be sold as a real 2500mAh since you would really need a new supersized battery cover for it.
I've bought a 1800 mAh Polarcell Battery after I read the good reviews here on xda. Now, after 10 months of use, I decide that is the best battery for the SGS. And it doesn't double the housing and the weight.
I am using polarcell 1800mah for two months.Very good!

UK company BMC Digital claims to have a 1600mah battery for the Desire HD... for just 6.50 UKP. That can't be right, surely?
They also have a 1230mAh battery for 16.95 UKP, which seems more believable.
Sorry that I can't post the links yet, as I'm a new user.
The typical capacity of a battery is one thing but what they print on the label is another thing! I think, it's impossible to improve the original battery 1230 mAh about 370 mAh to 1600 mAh and sell it for less than the half price.

Well I just bought one for the hell of it, will let you know it's performance probably this time next week.
I got 2 of them 1600mAh with a bundle from good old ebay. I've been using them and they last at least as long as the original but not convinced they last much longer....
At least they work! so far

I don't think so, the battery have to be relatively the same size as the original battery, especially when the battery cover is used as antenna too.
try here for batteries - including extended one...
here is the link...
go to mugen-power-batteries dot com and then to the htc-desire section...
There is only one in the list.
its 1300mAh for 45$.
Very expensive and not very usefull.
Only 70mAh more -.-
So I used the one that was delivered for a couple of days, and let me tell you it is utter 'DOG-EGG' it doesn't last anywhere near as long as the original, but £6.50 for a spare ain't half bad.

I have 2 of thoes batteries and I can tell you they work fine but they are not 1600mAh they say 1600mAh on them but last no longer than the oringinal battery.
there are a lot of 3000mAh batteries on ebay... that are not expensive.. are they any good? how much more battery life will i get?
anyone has tried one of those 3000mah batteries?
EBay ones tend to be crap. Mugen s 3200mah is good and does the job reliabiy
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App
Mugen is pretty expensive.. any other cheaper but good brand/model?
i am using mugen 3200, i will score it 8.5/10, the bad points are the case very loose and blocked flash light in a certain degree.
Nothing some blutack wont fix. And no I don't know. There's a post further down documenting some people's experiances with ebay if you want to look for it
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App
Well if you willing to sacrifice your phone's look go ahead and try it, but it will get very ugly with that thickness...

The "ebay" batteries tends to have smaller capacity than announced.

Exacly...anything over original 1400 is bs in my opinion. I've heard about 3000mAh for HTC Evo but that battery is much bigger in size and require custom back case.
i got myself a 3200mAh mugen battery from the states best thing i ever did lasting for 5 days now on one charge

what rom are you on when you have 5 days duration ?
It's great if you want your battery to last days without charge but terrible if you want a nice sleak phone due to the fact that the 3200amh batteries add extra thickness to the phone which really makes it look ugly in my opinion. Mugen power batteries are really good though they are expensive. I'd be weary about buying from eBay because although they may be cheaper, a lot of the times they're not the capacity stated and have bad quality lithium ions that simply don't hold a charge!
Can I buy it in Ukraine? Somebody know?
I have a 3000mAh battery, but the only way I can get a full charge is with an external charger.
Then I can get between 3-4days from 1 charge.
Charging the 3000mAh in my phone, doesn't seem to last any longer than a standard battery.
... is already being worked on and is expected to become available in about 2 months, replied a representative of Mugen to my inquiry.
They shared no further details - I would guess about double-triple capacity than standard battery + enlarged back cover.
^ yes, that would be useful, but just as other exended batteries and back covers (for other phones) it will be ugly :/
I'm a bit concerned about this idea now, as it had better not cover the top of the phone as that gets REAL hot if you stick the screen on top brightness and play games, while charging.
Would not be a good idea to cover that section up with a battery, although as its basically next to the LED and cameras I doubt they would.
Not that it matters to me, I would like an extended battery but the Mugen ones are always way WAY too expensive.

i think it WORKS.
but the cover is not as thick to accept the 4500mah battery
i prefer to have 4500 instead 3200....but what can we do? NOTHING . ithink is very difficult to create a back cover.
but i have an IDEA. you can buy the 4500mah battery, and then buy the 3500mah cinese from EBAY for 7.. 8euro.
you can CUT the back cover you have with it..... and adjust for 4500 mah ( that goes out.. it's normal)

Actually I've already ordered the cheap chinese extended battery with extra thick cover some days ago ... but I'm not sure 4500 battery fits inside, from all the images it appears to be really, really thick. It seems neither Mugen, nor any resellers publish exact size in mm, so probably there is no way to be sure except trying. I could easily cut the plastic of the (extended) cover if needed, but I don't know how to fix/glue it afterwards...
the 4500 mah battery will always remain OUT OF the cover.
however, can you RALLY review the 3500 battery when it arrives to u?
i would understand if it is a piece of crap with the same power of the original... of if have a real mah of about 2500 or 3000..... from the NOMINAL 3500mah

Ebay Nr. 130568171907 (I'm not allowed to post outside links, yet)
It's supposed to be the same size as the original one.
Do you think this could be a good deal.
2430mAh seems to be a lot to me, compared to the original battery.
I just bought it last sunday. I'm in Italy so I think that it will be here in a few days. After, I'm going to tell you how it runs.

yes... you are right.
My biggest worry about this battery would be the danger, that it could burn my phone, if the quality was too low.
If it's "just" not that long lasting as declared, it would be disappointing, but too upsetting.

Hi,
I'm looking to replace the stock 1500mAh battery in my nearly 2-year-old Galaxy S. I've had a look around a notice their are some high capacity ones available. However, I'm not looking for those "extended" packs, it needs to have the same dimensions as the stock battery in order to fit into the case I use. I have no idea which manufacturers are reliable, can somebody help me out?

I would say if your battery needs replacing anyway then yes buy the anker or polarcell, but if your battery doesn't need replacing then its not really worth 'upgrading'.

i got my S4 9505 from 1 month and i very very happy with it..also for good battery life, but we have removable battery and maybe there is some battery better than original..
I looking for a battery with the original size dimension but more big than the original..but above all really big.. not only write on it.. but it must to be really extended..
if someone use some battery extended with original size and is certain that is extended can give me information about your battery life, screen on time and link for buy it?
Thanks
No suggestions?
Please note it is not physically possible to accommodate more capacity into the battery for the same size, if that was possible I guess samsung would had done that for us. However why not purchase extra charger and battery case made by samsung.
But I do see Mugen doing a change by providing 2750mAh battery of same size. Check here at amazon.
Or you might have to get large extended battery and find the best the chose from.

No, impossible. They claim to be 3500's but the are not. Most/all of the aftermarket high(er) capacity batteries are bogus, capacity wise.

Ps. Thanks guys for your replys :good:
I had a Zero Lemon slim extended battery on my SGS3. It was 2400mah vs the stock 2100. It was pretty good, giving an extra 30-45 minutes or so extra screen time and another 90-120 minutes of run time. If you find you're just cutting it close at the end of the day and you can't charge mid-day, it's worth the $20 for a pair of them plus a charger. You can get them on Amazon too. I haven't bought the S4 versions yet but I plan to - my wife and I can each get a little more battery life for a total of $20 that way.
You lose NFC, though. that's probably why they have a higher capacity - no NFC antenna. If you use that feature, or S-Beam or whatever, skip the Zero Lemons.

I ended up with a Hyperion because it would fit the Seidio Extended (and it did perfectly). I was not at all impressed with the reviews on teh 3000mah ZeroLemon because it seems like it was thicker than the stock battery and put a bit of a bulge on the battery door. I was afraid it would not fit cases properly so I skipped it.

their product is good and is as stated no scams !!
i couldnt buy it coz they were charging $19.99 + $17(shipping) and i bought the original samsung battery kit for $32 where i live .....
but i had researched a lot on the company before making the decision towards them.... only regret is samsung gave me 1 battery + charger 1.7mAh .... zerolemon was giving 2 batteries + chrager 600mAh.... so i basically traded only battery for a charger that charges a battery in 1hr and 30mins 0% --> 100% .....
so whats the best rate for getting a good 12 to 14 hour outta your batt
