Features :
PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. This is a must for tablet mode since it shrinks your apps considerably, making them useless. you can even scale widgets and framework components like the navigationbar.You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell),Sense 4 Recent Apps too etc.

Please confirm if camcorder is working (because as we know kernel 3 is not out Now )

Salvage Mod 1.2.1 Gingerbread!!
Salvage Mod is a group project. Currently it is Barnacles10, Lithid, and I (Echoside). We have been working hard to get this up and running and would like to thank Preludedrew for helping me out on a few issues I ran into while compiling it, ctso and Cyanogen for some of the files I snagged from them. All of the other GB roms i've tried have working wifi if you turn on wifi hotspot and then turn it off... maybe this one will do the same?

Try rebooting or toggling airplane. Works.for me but was a bit weird at.first.

no dice yet, tried on/off hotspot, on/off airplane mode. gonna try a reboot, then if that fails, reset my router

If you have hardware 0004 you cant run this right? Or at least the camera cuz of not having the source?

Does this mean that the /cust partition will be removed, or does this mean that it's just not used by the ROM? Hopefully it's option #2, simply because it's a pain in the neck to restore (you need to restore the entire phone with UPDATE.APP from Huawei - I speak from experience ).

Is it possible to make the vibrate icon white to contrast with the black notification bar? It's not completely necessary, but it would be nice aesthetics.
I noticed that you are using the default Android keyboard. If you would like, I can send you a working version of the HTC IME keyboard or QVGA Swype (the version of Swype that was factory-installed) to include.

About the themeing, CyanogenMod has a set of User Interface settings that you can set and change; for example the status bar color, or the date/time text color on the fly. So your good to go there

The /cust partition is a special carrier-locked portion of the OS that holds protected apps (it has higher protection than apps in the /system/apps/ directory) and the carrier's customizations (boot animation, wallpapers, ringtones, etc.). Some ROMs actually use that partition to hold the Android Framework files, but it's main usefulness is that it usually sticks around between ROM flashings, so for instance your boot animation and any apps, wallpapers, and ringtones you put in there will magically re-appear. Hope that clears that up!
So that means you can set that icon to white? That's what I'm concerned about, I would like to keep the black notifications bar.

Sounding awesome! I've got one of these and it's fantastic for the price I paid. For testing GPS, I find the GPS in the phone isn't brilliant but I can get it to find a lock after a while. Recommend using GPS Status to see if it picks up any satellites.

I'm sure that the performance and features of CyanogenMod will come along for the ride - it is built from the Cyanogen sources, after all.
As for overclocking, the stock kernal will already overclock to 600MHz with SetCPU. I'm not sure that a custom kernal, if one were developed, would be able to overclock it any more without setting it on fire.

There is an OC kernel in the works, also.... I am trying to get 3D to work but it is frustrating as all hell. There isn't any good info as to what cpu is inside of this thing. Some places say msm 7201a others say 7225...
Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.

Where is the difference between odex and deodex?
Confirm the wifi is not working on the odexed version. Attached the logcat.
test the deodex version ( clean install ), every thing is good except tow bugs :
1-the tweaks in settings ( force close )
2-wifi gets error
and still testing
sorry guys... the deodex version that was uploaded was corrupted... i fixed it late last night.
if u saw an FC on 1st boot or tweaks gives u an fc... u got the wrong version... please re-download.

proberly be a noob question but could i use the script file out of a sence 3.5 working wifi rom located /system/ect in the folder (wifi) the script file is called wpa_supplicant.config could i just replace that out of a working rom in to this or is there anything else needed as id like to use this rom asap

since i do not own the phone... i will need some help from u guys and seeing whats going on with it... wifi i mean.
we still kinda pimping out tweaks and so for took out the need for a reboot for many of the tweaks so that they will pretty much all be "on the fly".
we also need to see whats going on with FB crets so that ther e wont be more authorize FB issues.
as for basing it on a newer build or not... well... once we work out all the tiny kinks i really dont see a big reason to move to a different base.

Did my logcat not help? No worries. I'll have another go in the morning with unity and Lord kernels. At xmas family party now! Had too much of my dads whiskey to ensure reliable testing.

you will prob have to do a fresh install flash the rom then flash the patch right after then boot
I'll give that a try a little later tonight when i have more time to play with it again

Thanks newtoroot I think I just found my new favorite ROM. The only thing that keeps calling out is 4G, but since it's a port its not really expected. Everything to me appears working, played with most of the widgets and messed with miktweaks. Have not found anything that is broken yet. Plus, this is super smooth, even the full 3D rosie. This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that Google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ICS to make it all a useful addition and not just a cute novelty. we're calling it: Hybrid Mode, best of both worlds.

- Kanged from source. All features included (even the ones that are on CM9 changelog but not on latest nightly)
- Updated kernel to latest Faux's.
- Fixed navbar on phone mode, and now doesn't removes statusbar transparency
- Fixed Utils.isScreenLarge() method, now it checks for LCD Density, wich reduces % of error to 0
- Improved panel a LOT, including a cool action bar for saving or discarding changes
- .force pad feature implemented, now you can resize widgets
- Added more descriptive strings to panel
- Added customizable toggles for tablet mode. You can choose now between 9 toggles, and a max of 6 of them. You can also reorganize or remove all the toggles.
- Removed some battery styles, and HC lockscreen, searching for a common base
- Translated a lot of things in spanish XML's ([url]http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#/c/16596/[/url])
- Added xLoud engine.
- Fixed bootanimation.
- Launcher from Nova -> Apex.
- Cleaned, upgraded and tweaked the build.prop.
- CPU init.d tweaks for scaling and governer. (Best combo of Battery and Performance).
- Completely removed software rendering, and enabled true hardware rendering.
- Minor fixes here and there.

Looks good glad to see another aokp rom. What the hell downloading now post feedback in a few.............. Very nice I like it keep up the good work running smooth just rebooted her for the first time I really like the layout its a change from the normal Aokp. You guys should check it out its pretty sick
So far, can't download from market...and it reboots frequently. Those are two bugs so far.

I was able to download 2 apps and after each app it reboots, I'll try that fix in few. Thanks!

Just one reboot so far but I lost the entire nav bar on the bottom of the phone. Its very nice I will try it again as she matures more thanks for the new look I like how the menus open open up all the way
Hmm, still looking into this reboot thing. Working with the ParanoidAndroid team atm, hopefully I should be able to dish out something epic within the next few days!
Too many reboots for me, so I had to restore but really loved the look and idea of this rom after playing with it for a while, keep up the good work bro

Is it have feature to switch between Phone UI and Tablet UI like Paranoid ROM, and Hybrid settings support Per App Layout (PAL) and Per App Density (PAD) ?
Really love Paranoid rom on my HD2
This rom made love my sensation again.
After playing with it for about 4 hrs, i must say that it looks promising. speed and responsivness are good ( antutu [email protected]). bugs that i found: after installing an app from (play store or from sd-card), it gives you a reboot and it`s saying that mobile network has problems. in settings>phone gives reboot.
It seems like the reboots are the only problem here.
You did a great job and i`ll use this as my daily driver
