Beta | Kicks Ass
- Kernel not using the default stock cmdline, so make changes accordingly.
- Now its USB tethering thats currently not working.

- A reminder that /cust is now irrelevant.
- Credits to stevenmirabito helping spot a number of issues.
- If your system decides to crash, fails to boot, or becomes non responsive, then you must be doing something wrong.
- The market is unlocked, but will not show apps that the phone cannot support, like Google Goggles, Wife Trader or something of the sort.
- Report all issues @ github.
- Default music app's now-playing layout looks best on fullscreen (change via settings).

Does this mean that the /cust partition will be removed, or does this mean that it's just not used by the ROM? Hopefully it's option #2, simply because it's a pain in the neck to restore (you need to restore the entire phone with UPDATE.APP from Huawei - I speak from experience ).

2 things here:
Is it possible to make the vibrate icon white to contrast with the black notification bar? It's not completely necessary, but it would be nice aesthetics.
I noticed that you are using the default Android keyboard. If you would like, I can send you a working version of the HTC IME keyboard or QVGA Swype (the version of Swype that was factory-installed) to include.

About the themeing, CyanogenMod has a set of User Interface settings that you can set and change; for example the status bar color, or the date/time text color on the fly. So your good to go there

The /cust partition is a special carrier-locked portion of the OS that holds protected apps (it has higher protection than apps in the /system/apps/ directory) and the carrier's customizations (boot animation, wallpapers, ringtones, etc.). Some ROMs actually use that partition to hold the Android Framework files, but it's main usefulness is that it usually sticks around between ROM flashings, so for instance your boot animation and any apps, wallpapers, and ringtones you put in there will magically re-appear. Hope that clears that up!
So that means you can set that icon to white? That's what I'm concerned about, I would like to keep the black notifications bar.

I have ultrajack recovery 6.2.2. Will it work with this or do I exculsively need AmonRA or ClockWorkMod?

Sounding awesome! I've got one of these and it's fantastic for the price I paid. For testing GPS, I find the GPS in the phone isn't brilliant but I can get it to find a lock after a while. Recommend using GPS Status to see if it picks up any satellites.

So many dev's for our phone but still no forum lol... I even put out a bounty for the compiled 3D drivers as I really couldn't be arsed to figure out how to do it myself. But it shouldn't be that hard to do if no one does it.

I'm sure that the performance and features of CyanogenMod will come along for the ride - it is built from the Cyanogen sources, after all.
As for overclocking, the stock kernal will already overclock to 600MHz with SetCPU. I'm not sure that a custom kernal, if one were developed, would be able to overclock it any more without setting it on fire.

There is an OC kernel in the works, also.... I am trying to get 3D to work but it is frustrating as all hell. There isn't any good info as to what cpu is inside of this thing. Some places say msm 7201a others say 7225...

2.X are based on the 2.08.401.1 LEAK base. These builds are made with the same love as the 1.X builds, but they are not a priority. They are for fun! Every feature I add to it will not be half assed, it will be done correctly and properly using the newest code and not using any old APKs or JAR files from older builds. » I never use old code for a new base. Other ROMs may have CRT and such, only because they're using older jars. That's not good. CRT is a lot more difficult this time around. It will come when I have some more time to hack at it (already spent a couple hours trying to get it to work =[)
» There is TONS of debugging output from the dev build. It may be placebo, but turning debugging off makes the phone seem a little faster to me. I've disabled it by default (on a fresh flash).

About matching Hashes
Matching hashes is extremely important, especially with these large Sense ROMs. Basically, it confirms that you downloaded the exact same file I uploaded, without any corruption. You can check your hashes with a few ways. You can download the program called HashTab and it will check them. Or you can check them with ADB. You can run the following command to see the hash (it will take a second, your phone has to process a large file).

As you can see, the hash returned does not match the hash I posted (053f2146b68618dd1fecaa71bddc0ac5) that means it either didn't copy on my phone correctly or the download was corrupt.

When the nightlies start (or kmobs makes his device tree public) I try and contribute what I can. I'm not the best with C or C++ (libs & kernel, basically what needs to be done), so that's not really my area. Maybe I'll try and learn though.
That said, when CM7 gets stable enough, I'll be bringing Trigger (my CM7 based ROMs) over to the Sensation. Until then it's Sense hacking .

It's really good to see some familiar devs over here on sensation. I can't wait for trigger on sensation, that was my favorite 2.2 ROM on Vibrant. Is your work hosted up on EDT as well?

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.

Where is the difference between odex and deodex?

Confirm the wifi is not working on the odexed version. Attached the logcat.

test the deodex version ( clean install ), every thing is good except tow bugs :
1-the tweaks in settings ( force close )
2-wifi gets error
and still testing

sorry guys... the deodex version that was uploaded was corrupted... i fixed it late last night.
if u saw an FC on 1st boot or tweaks gives u an fc... u got the wrong version... please re-download.

Ticks all the criteria I want! Will be willing to switch to this ROM when WiFi issues are sorted!

proberly be a noob question but could i use the script file out of a sence 3.5 working wifi rom located /system/ect in the folder (wifi) the script file is called wpa_supplicant.config could i just replace that out of a working rom in to this or is there anything else needed as id like to use this rom asap

since i do not own the phone... i will need some help from u guys and seeing whats going on with it... wifi i mean.
we still kinda pimping out tweaks and so for took out the need for a reboot for many of the tweaks so that they will pretty much all be "on the fly".
we also need to see whats going on with FB crets so that ther e wont be more authorize FB issues.
as for basing it on a newer build or not... well... once we work out all the tiny kinks i really dont see a big reason to move to a different base.

Did my logcat not help? No worries. I'll have another go in the morning with unity and Lord kernels. At xmas family party now! Had too much of my dads whiskey to ensure reliable testing.

[ROM] - [12/24/2011] - MikRunny v1.01 - [ Sense 3.5 | 2.3.5 | Tweaks | Odex/Deodex ]

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.
This ROM supports Desire HD (also Telus), Desire S, Desire Z, Inc 2, Inc S, Inspire 4G and myTouch 4G (again, thanks to rc team)

IMO odex is faster and more efficent you be the judge.... yes i am new to dhd i dont even own one but ive helped cappy with some things here and there... illbe around and i have more roms in the works for you guys

now you use Odex or Deodex version ?

Hi folks. I have bug. I keep getting notification"Authourise HTC Sense to access your Facebook" but there is no option to allow this. I deleted HTC hub, but not that.
Edit: logcat is saying HTC hun doesn't recognise user on facebook. It 'says other phone is not a member of user table' did u leave Ur settings on?
EDIT: To fix remove system app Facebook for Sense.

I downloaded the Odex version... but i really dont know the actual different between both ... lets c... may be i will get to know after using it for a few hours...

Big statement dude. All roms all fast when they not loaded up.

I had at first, hung on download. Progress bar showed nothing but it did download. Reboot sorted it.

PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. Please confirm if camcorder is working (because as we know kernel 3 is not out Now )
so please tell us if camcorder working even with third party Application .. btw It looks very nice thanks
