Note: This is currently a WIP as I own the T-Mobile version (hercules) and cannot debug this ROM on my own device. Since the skyrocket and hercules are almost identical, I have built this ROM using my hercules version as a template. The items I have listed as not working are from my T-Mobile ROM and I am assuming they are the same for the skyrocket. For those of you that want to give this a try, I ask that if you are going to report an issue please do so by also providing a logcat of when the issue occurs. Without that I am not going to be able to debug the problem unless it is reproducible on the T-Mobile variant.
I know I said this at the bottom of my OP, but I know how people sometimes glance over posts and do not read it all so here goes.

Thanks to the efforts of LinuxBozo many of us are able to enjoy CM 7 on our Infuse 4G devices. All credit for this goes to LinuxBozo (and those listed in his post). I simply took the source from his ROM and compiled/uploaded it to make it more accessible. This is all done with permission from LinuxBozo.
I will be uploading newly compiled ROMs from source once a day, but this is NOT to be considered a nightly ROM as it isn't being built by the CM buildbot. The daily compiles of this ROM are not each individually tested, so your mileage may vary.
Each daily build will be archived and available to download.
Download:
List of All Builds:
Code:
http://stevemorrissey.com/android/roms/infuse4g/CM7/
Google Apps: Download Here if you don't want to install the Google Apps from Rom Manager (as per the directions)
Directions for flashing:
If you have a RED CWM :
Ensure you have both root and CWM. If you don't, see below.
Copy ROM .ZIP to SD card
Shut phone off. Hold Vol Up + Vol Down and Power on device
Flash CM7 zip
Reboot. You will get stuck at Samsung screen. This is normal.
Pull battery, and reboot into recovery (Hold: VOL+ VOL- Power)
You should now be in ORANGE -OR- BLUE CWM
Go to "mounts and storage"
select format /system
Reflash CM7 zip (NOTE: don't forget gapps as well, you can get the gapps easily using Rom Manger -> Download ROM -> Scroll down to Google Apps)
Reboot into CM7 goodness, made possible by LinuxBozo
Rooting and installing ClockworkMod
Got root? If not, please see THIS VIDEO or simply download, install, and run SuperOneClick
To get CWM on your device, please see THIS THREAD
Additional Items
If you want the clock (as seen in the screenshot below) install mClock then follow the simple steps in this post

Please direct questions to this thread as we don't want to clutter the [SOURCE] thread with questions related to this compiled version.

Could you include some more details in the 1st post to include mod version build number, kernal, baseband things like that? That way we can all all get a quick check to see that we are uptodate.
Stupid? Why is it a 93 download seems awful small.

Because it's not bloated up like samsung firmware. MIUI and cm7 are less than 100.

i thought that as well. but i think there small just due to the Dev removing things that really didnt need to be there.

Its 97MB, and its a non-TouchWiz ROM without the Google Apps bundled in, there is no reason for it to be large. TouchWiz/Sense/MotoBlur add a lot of bulk for stock ROMs.
93Mb is about right. Small because there is no unnecessary bloatware.

The issue I had with MIUI was not stability as in crashing, but with signal. My device seemed to constantly lose its data connection in moderate signal areas, and it would take 15-30 seconds to reestablish a connection. I don't experience such issues with this CM rom.

I'll give that a try.
Note that the Infuse 4G is currently my only Android device, but I am getting a Sensation today and a Nexus S shortly. That means that since I'll have a backup Android device I will be able to test the daily builds on my handset first to ensure it works properly (or at least installs properly, I won't test most features out).
I currently have a Blackberry Torch for backup, but since the data packages aren't interoperable I need to call AT&T to have my data plan switched every time my Android device is out of commission due to ROM issues.
Good job and thanks for this. I'd probably link gapps in the OP just so people don't flood the thread with "where is my market?!?!"

Others have had issues entering into network settings in the past... with that said, something similar happened to me on alpha 4 (had no data on initial install) so I just changed preferred network in network settings (phone info app won't work). I would try to toggle from settings if it's already broke and see what happens... if not, go back to a ROM with working 4g, make sure your in lte mode and wipe and reflash miui

ya tried it all and I ended up even using odin to go back completely stock. still only had 3g. went to verizon and they said i had a bad sim card and they switched that and still no go so they gave me a new phone. and now it is working the tech said my antenna must have shorted out and that he had never seen that before. PS all was good and i had 4g on this rom until i started playing with the data settings. i wish i could tell you guys what i did but i really dont know which setting it was.
This is great, I have been waiting to try MIUI on my S3 for a while now.
^^ same, i'm really looking forward to some MIUI again. It was a life saver on the og Dinc, i'm sure it'll be nice on the s3
Backing up current rom now to test this out! Looking forward it and seeing everyones feedback!
So far, I'm noticing that gallery and messaging app are fcing when you back out. They seem to function properly, tested mms/sms successfully, but when you back out to close, the apps crash. Anyone else getting this? I might try to fix permissions and see what happens.

Also with data. It shows I have signal, but data isn't actually working for me. I used phone info and tried to set my phone to something else. It was on CDMA auto prl and j moved it to every single item it gave me and data was still borked

yea got same thing man
This morning i was so happy because i love miui. So i flash this rom and after boot i noticed my phone don't have signal, i try to reflash (wipe system, data and cache), after boot still no signal.
I restore my backoff (synergy), and after boot "surprise" my phone still no signal..
After one hour playing, wiping, flashing, finally i decided to flash stock Odin files, after boot still no signal so i press #2767*3855# i read this code wipe everything on the internal sd and set the phone back to factory restore.
So finally i have my signal and data back in service.
Now i scare to try again this rom.

MIUI is like iOS. No app drawer but tons of themes. It also appears there is no bug list so the only ones I assume are there are native to our CM10 only.

I didn't do anything other then think about it a little bit. Easiest fix around are the ones provided.
BUT
Only s-off users can use the scverhagen's kernel zips because oh how they are posted, which is zImage format. To the best of my knowledge I don't think s-on users can flash the zImage but I could be wrong I'm s-off and never tinkered in s-on land.
Camera and Browser need fixing

THIS IS COMPLETELY EXPERIMENTAL. FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK.
After getting a full dump, here are some flashable zips for both the odexed and deodexed versions of the stock image.
Note. It does NOT have a boot.img, you may have to test other images. I have not had time to test that these work, but they are straight out of a Google Edition device.

Code:
E: Error eecuting updater binary in zip '/sdcar...
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/Phone/odexed.zip'
I'm going to try to install again using a known working update-binary (CM10.1). Copying over to phone via sideload currently. Will update
EDIT: OKAY. Boots fine. TWRP gave me a weird "no OS installed, are you sure you want to reboot" thing, but it booted up fine. WiFi doesn't seem to work yet, but data's fine. I swapped out the update-binary in this zip with one from a CM10.1 zip and changed the relevant lines in the updater-script to make sure it installs without error. All it needs is a WiFi fix.

its a system dump, it should be really stable from the start.
Bugs so far:
WiFi doesn't seem to work
Clicking on the mobile data Quick Setting in the notification shade force closes Settings
Installation of ROM is broken out of the box
Its vanilla with sprinkles
Can anyone confirm a required hboot for this? Also side load flash or recovery better?

Does the GE version have a different radio?
Sweetness. Will wait for an update / bug fix.

Theoretically, maybe. There are always bugs. Those are the only things I've noticed so far though. Everything else seems to work beautifully, minimal lag, etc.. I'm expecting a new kernel to fix the WiFi, or maybe OP forgot to include a few .lib files, fix permissions, or a myriad of other things. I'll look into it later today, but so far it works well enough for a DD (minus WiFi... )

UPDATED GAPPS:(NEEDED IF SWITCHING TO ART)
http://d-h.st/3k8
Directions:
Full wipe of system, data cache and dalvic is a must before flashing cm11 for the first time, then flash gapps..otherwise just wipe cache and dalvik..
This ROM is stable for the most part with audio, data, wifi and such all working..The builds will be stronger, more stable and full of features as things get worked out and features implemented..
___ART IS NOW AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION___
ART (the new Android Runtime) is now available for use with this device. It helps with performance and overall stability of the rom. It is still early and if there are any issues you may come across while using it, you are welcome to switch back to dalvik until it has some more time to get smoothed out..Some apps are NOT ART compatible yet..Its seems more only an issue if restoring backups or side loading..some apps will not install by side load until they are updated..if you are already running art then feel free to only wipe cache and dalvic before flash..if you choose to have your device run dalvic (normally) and have full access to your app backups and/or full app compatibility that's fine as well and the flash process would be the same as above..if you are wanting to see what art is all about, I do recommend a full wipe so there is no app issues on boot..in that case full wipe, flash ROM and gapps..reboot..change to art in developer options..it will reboot and take a hot minute to optimize the apps..then you will not need to do it again when you flash alpha 4. YOU NEED TO RUN THE UPDATED GAPPS PACKAGE IF CONVERTING TO ART AS IT IS OPTIMIZED FOR THAT PURPOSE...
More info to come..
Work in progress..
Thanks to those who have donated to me through my projects....

Be prepared folks... This ROM, while an alpha, is extremely functional. I've been on it for a of couple hours now without a single problem, aside from internal storage issues. Other than that, this ROM I a go

But the storage issue is more of a mount message more than an issue, Correct? As in you can still install apps and play store items correctly, right?

Loaded it up and played for hours and I love it but I'm having some issues with an essential app for me (spare phone using google voice) so I'll play a while longer and then restore but I Love it! Very fast and I know it's going to be awesome soon. Thank You!

I'm trying to download adaway, but I can't because the sdcard isn't detected. Is this fixable yet, or a workaround?
