htc sensation wifi error - HTC Sensation

yes I have tried almost everything, like flashing custom roms or stock ruu almost everyday with different variations. flashing kernels, tweeks, so on and so on.
It works somehow and it disconnect itself after a while or totally stucks in "wireless is turning on". After it get online it makes couple of reboots and it gives "wireless is turning on" error again. I can use the phone for days but wireless never gets on.
The funny point is when wireless on and screen is locked and screen is off. When I attempt to click screen lock button, sometimes it never gives light but I can see that The screen is on and I can move the ring and do whatever i want but it is very hard to see actually. I have to put on light on to see the pictures but it doesnt happen when wifi is off or gives error.
and another funny point is I can swipe down upper bar when screen is locked. I can do bypass.
What the hell is going on my phone? no idea really

lol, i don't know a solution for the screen/wifi issue. but lockscreen pulldown status bar is a new feature of ICS, not a bypass

we have the same issue i even downgrade to GB but still the same problem did have the wifi issue when you did OTA ?

the problem has come after I updated my phone to ICS since february I guess. I have almost tried everything on everyday but still having issues. I am sure it is all about software problem, nothing is wrong with hardware

me too i am exactly like you now i am running GB and i ma flashing the radio

I think most of the people having same issues and problems but having no solution for that? it is just ridiculous.
Is there anybody out there that can help us please.
thanks

Hi,
Have a look at THIS THREAD
Particularly # 3 and Extra 1

I have this problem as well...whatever I do, I can't get wifi to work anymore...I reflashed firmware, tried several different roms, I followed the guide in the aforementioned post...nothing helps...it always says "Error" after some time.
Is there anybody who knows what to do?

Struggled with same problem for months...gave up
I had the same problem with my wi-fi and bluetooth. Both would get stuck on "turning on" mode and never come on. Everything else worked fine. I too flashed ROMS, Kernels, RUU's etc. to no avail. SO I GAVE UP. After 2 months without wifi i couldn't anymore so i called HTC, they asked for my S/N and IMEI and confirmed I was still under warranty, so I un-rooted, went back to S-ON, flashed the newest official T-Mobile RUU and shipped the phone away. I called today and they said the MOTHERBOARD was being replaced and I should have it back this week! Woot-Woot! Try giving HTC a call...worst thing that happens is they say NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY...but you won't find out till you give em a call...*shrug.

I have the same problem with the lock screen and wifi. Except for me the wifi is always on "Error". It doesn't say anything else it just says error. It started happening after a system update failed to install. An update would come up and reboot my phone to try and install it. So it would start up ext4 recovery and ext4 would do some stuff and then reboot again. After boot I was asked again if I wanted to install the update. I repeated this process a couple of times before deciding I had enough and deleted the update.
Wifi has been on Error ever since. Everything else works fine.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm on a HTC Sensation XE stock rom but HTC Dev unlocked and perm rooted.

find your firmware.zip, extract the boot.img from it,place it the file where adb is and then do the commands

Hi buddy.. I was having the same problem as you with the wifi error. Also my phone was restarting by itself. what I did was that I removed the SD card and left the phone without it. It worked for me. After that my wifi was working perfectly and no more restarts. I had a 8GB SD Card before, maybe with this new update this 8GB SDcard was too heavy for the phone. I running a 2GB SDcard now with no problems. Please let me know if it worked to you as well.. Good luck!!

I tried this, but it did not work. I'm not sure if my problem is a hardware failure or a software problem. 3 weeks after I got this phone, it got water damaged. Full of water! I took out the battery, letted it dry for some hours and turned it on. Everything worked! Only thing to see from the water, was the spot, that shows if it have got water, was 3/4 red. Everyting went good within a month or so. Then in feburary/march it stopped working (wifi). The same thing for Bluetooth. It's just writing "turns on" wifi or the bluetooth, and after 5-10 minutes it say "error"
Edit: The reason why I wonder about if it's a hardware/software failure is, I do not remember if it came within a install of an costum rom or it just happened out of now where
Any sugestions?

I had the same problem, this is how i fixed it : first flahs 4EXT recovery, not clockwork, then get the rom you want and a super wipe, go into recovery, turn smartflash on in tools. Superwipe, then let it reboot, turn smartflash on again, and flash the rom

Ignore this info. What you need to do is log into your router hub & change the wifi signal Ch from auto to say, number 4 or summat, guarantee that's your problem.

Phone rebooting when i choose to Shutdown

this has been going on for a few months now, when i try to shut the phone down completely it just reboots itself. the only way to get it to turn completely off is by pulling the battery and leaving it out. as soon as i put the battery back in the phone it autoboots up. at first i thought this was a CM7 issue but in the past 2 days ive tested leedroids rom, honeysenceHD, and a few others and the phone still acts the same. its never been an issue but i would love to be able to turn the phone completely off if i ever needed to. someone suggested that its possible my bootloader is corrupted. is there any way to fix this issue?
This is a problem with the Advanced Power Manger, search for the fix.
Sent from my Inspire 4G
ok well can someone point me in the direction to fix this problem.....search finds NOTHING for a fix
what apps do you have installed can you list them? They can sometimes cause problems...
Make sure "Fast boot" is UNchecked under Settings, Power.
i dont see a POWER sub menu in settings nor can i find Fast Boot.
apps are as follows
everything that comes stock with CM7
Battery Calibrator
Beautiful Widgets
COveroid
Dev Tools
DSPManager
FasterFix
Linpack
Quickboot- just to see if it would turn the phone off and it doesnt
setCPU but not using it currently
Spare Parts
thats about it a few of those apps i think are part of CM7 but im not sure
Look for fastboot in settings, applications.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
theres nothing in applications that allows me to turn on or off FASTBOOT
ok so i was told theres no FASTBOOT option in CM7 so anyone else out there have any clue as to why my phone will not turn off and stay turned off when i power it down?

Well at this point, if you think that continuing to try other roms other than what you've already flashed won't help, you might just try flashing a completely stock image, with the stock hboot/recovery, etc., and see if indeed something went haywire with your bootloader, as you mentioned someone had suggested to you.
Try the RUU in the stickied thread, for example. The recent OTA ROM by Attn1 has the hboot removed from it so I don't think that would be a good choice for this attempt, because you want to get the stock bootloader back.
Now, I can't speak to the validity of that suggestion about the possible corrupt bootloader... I don't know either way whether or not that could be the cause, but if you wanted to at least try it, then my suggestion above would be the way to do it, I would think.
There would be no reason for it to continue to behave like this on a completely stock ROM, other than there being something defective with the phone itself.
It's a clockworkmod issue with daylight savings time. Change your date from automatic to a date before the time change (I just go to Jan) and your phone will shut off and stay off.
"Change your date from automatic to a date before the time change (I just go to Jan) and your phone will shut off and stay off. "
i dont really understand what you mean by change it to a date/time before the time change. i turned off the auto time but dont see where your talking about with setting the date change
I wasn't going to try to help cause I didn't like yer tone. You could say please and thank you for peeps time..

it was a rom issue but guess u didnt read the thread to see that, that app is just another way to reboot your phone, i appreciate the effort but ive tried it many times and it boots/reboots the phone in the same manor the phone boots itself

So you have re-flashed to stock and the issue went away.
What rom are you flashing after root?
Did you check the MD5sum of the rom?
Have you tried a second rom?
Try just flashing to a stock rom like TCP;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982963
Edit, just read yer above post... None this is going to help. Lol
i havent tried flashing anything, i flashed it back to stock, rebooted worked fine. So i decided to just reroot it. its stil STOCK atm just rooted. its obvious that its a software issue id just love to know what and how to fix it.
When you're flashing to a new rom are you clearing all of your data every time? If not you might want to give it a shot when you try to flash to another rom.

[Q] sensation crashing during unlocking the screen

Hi there guys!
i just bought a htc sensation a month ago and make its s-off an flashed also a custom rom (senseless rom 1.2)
now my problem its, that the phone is rebooting sometimes, when i try to unlock the device from sleeping.
i push the power button, the phone doesn't react, so i push a second time. after pushing 2nd time, the display splash on and at the next moment off.
2 seconds later, i got the boot-splash of the device.
anyone had this problem already?
EDIT: this problem was coursed also before s-off, therefore i choose this section to disks about! =)
I'm having this problem as well. I have not rooted or s-off'd or anything else. Stock rom, most apps from the market. This started happening the other day when I installed an update to version 2.3.4. This is happening several times a day and is getting extremely annoying!!
hi,
i just followed this problem again.
i am using now the Beast Rom, and the phone has still this problem.
any ideas?

Defrag your micro sd card and fix file system errors. Uncheck enable fastboot and turn off your phone then turn it back on again. Lastly, try not to use "kill all" in task manager. Hope it help you guys.
Crashing as well
Same here with crashing.
During unlock, when using GPS. It's now several times a day. The device has become unfit for purpose. Will try the SD card trick.

Wifi error/not working Sensation ICS 6.5.1

When I first booted up WiFi worked for about 2 minutes. Found my home network, connected...appeared all was well.
Then suddenly it stopped and now it'll just read Turning Wi-Fi On... indefinitely. Eventually it'll say error.
Originally superwiped before flashing ROM, flashed the suggested radio.
I tried clearing cache and dalvik, didn't help.
My phone hates wifi apparently. Wi-Fi being junk is the reason I rooted in the first place. Was hoping this'd fix it. The fact that it's "intermittent" makes me wonder if it really is a hardware fault.
Any ideas?
Android Version: 4.0.3
Sense: 3.6

Kernel: 3.0.16 SebastionFM #1
Hboot- 1.27.1100
Radio- 11.22.3504.07_M
Tried a factory restart w/ sim pulled, still nothing.
The odd thing is how it worked at first when I booted up..then stopped functioning alltogether.
I had the EXACT same thing happen to me this morning. I went to bed last night and wifi was working great. This morning when I took it off the charger I noticed that wifi wasn't running. Tried turning it on an it wouldn't turn on. I thought it may be a glitch so I tried restarting. No change. Realized I had fastboot checked so restarted without it. No change.
If I go to the Settings menu under the icon to switch on wifi it says error. When I try and turn it on it has the message about turning on wifi for a few minutes and then the switch turns off. I also noticed that it is draining my battery VERY fast (most likely because it is continually trying to to turn on wifi)
Not sure what happened or what would cause this. I'm running ARHD 6.2.1.
I was planning on upgrading this afternoon after work to 6.5.1. Hopefully this new wifi issue doesn't get in the way of that...
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to update your firmware first!
In ARHD thread Mike1986 states: 3.32.401.x firmware is required! So go to this tread and get the necessary firmware and you wouldn't have any wifi issues.
I'm also running 6.5.1 and have wifi on for almost the entire day without any problems!
Thanks for the reply BioTeck. I can't speak for BrokenWiFi but for me I've been running on 6.2.1 for about 2 weeks no (with the suggested firmware for that version) and haven't had a problem. Then all of the sudden this morning it started having this problem.
Any suggestions on what I can try? This evening I plan on upgrading firmware to latest as well as upgrading to 6.5.1 so I'm hoping that helps but are there any other suggestions I can try?

On the ARHD thread, there seems other to have the same problem. Some of them solved the problem by reflashing. Perhaps you can try that as well and post this problem in ARHD's thread as well...

This happen to me way way long ago, back during the series 3 ARHD. After going through many things, a simple rom reflash fixed it for me.
I was never able to figure out why. I asked around in here and else where and there were some talk of it back then with a few tips for solution, which did not work.
As far as I could tell, that was the only time ever that I flashed a rom without turning off wifi before rebooting into recovery. I have since then diligently turn off wifi before flashing anything. Never encountered the problem again.
P.s. I recalled reading something about how the wifi is stuck on "On", while the rom trying to turn something that's already On, On and errored itself.

Wanted to update on my progress. I solved the issue on my phone:
I was messing around with it today while waiting for a meeting to start and I found where the wifi settings, etc are stored. It ended up being a corrupt/invalid wpa_supplicant.conf file. All I had to do was pull that file out from the directory and turn on wifi and *poof* it worked again. When I turned wifi on it created a new file and everything has been great so far this afternoon.
In case anyone wants to give it a shot who is having wifi issues you can find the wpa_supplicant.conf file in /data/misc/wifi/ directory on your phone. Simply cut/rename the file and put it somewhere else. If you have wifi passwords you want to save, you can open the original file using a text editor and copy the settings over to the new file.
I believe the cause of my issue was actually Titanium Backup. Looking at the last time it backed up my wifi settings was back when I wasn't running ICS yet. Yesterday I did restore an app using it and must have accidentally restored that old backup. Their formats are different from Gingerbread to ICS apparently and it was causing errors.

Unfortunately after reading your latest post, Broken WiFi, I don't know that the fix that worked for me applies to you but just in case --> Are you using (or did you use) Titanium Backup to restore any of your apps? Is it possible you have a corrupt file as well? Obviously you are wiping out that file when you superwipe so I don't think you have the same issue but it is probably worth checking.
Funny, it worked!
I had a feeling the supplicant was the problem..
In my last rom it wouldn't let me touch anything in /data even though I was SU and S-OFF.....
So I'd just delete the one in /system... but it never helped.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Seriously, I've spent like 15 hours troubleshooting this...reading every thread on the net.
Never thought to try and delete the one in /data in this rom.
THANK YOU so very very much.
I can't post in DEV, but maybe you could let some people know over there that it's a fix.
I copied wpa_supplicant.conf from gb miui and it seems to be working for now, will test it some more..
Sounds like hardware..I had a problem with what turned out to be the battery cover, it has the antennas built in to it.. changed this and was good again. Worked for me..

One thing you might try doing is deleting it and then try restarting the phone. That would be the next step I would do. If it doesn't work then you might have to start looking into a hardware or rom issue.
After you try deleting and then restart if that doesn't work I'd back everything up and try flashing your rom again.

I did try to cut/delete/rename the file through ES File Explorer and Super manager but the file doesn't move/delete/rename. Plus for some reason this file is under "/etc/wifi/" instead of "/data/misc/wifi/" /data is an empty folder in my phone. Maybe you are using different explorer?
By the way , I've updated my phone with OTA_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.32.401.5-1.50.401.1_P_release_246627z7pljztztog0er50. After you try deleting and then restart if that doesn't work I'd back everything up and try flashing your rom again.

I've deleted the file and restarted many times, Wifi will say OFF or ERROR, i will try to turn it on and the same problem occurs, stuck saying "turning on". I've reflashed rom and firmware many times using different kernels and techniques etc. I can't believe it to be hardware related as everything was fine with version 6.3.1 and firmware 3.30... then updated to 6.5.1 and 3.32.. fine again however a couple of hours later WiFi was off and continued to say "turning on". I'm going to try to downgrade to 6.3.1 and 3.30 again to see if that helps..
I've having the same problem. I updated to firmware 3.32 and ROM ARHD 6.5.1 last Saturday and WiFi seemed to be working until yesterday. Today it won't work at all - I can't make or receive calls and had to move the SIM card to a Blackberry curve so I could get some work done.
Tonight I tried deleting the wifi supplicant file posted earlier and that seems to help for one or two calls then it's back to no calls at all. So then I wiped the cache and devlik cache and tried again. That may have helped, but I'm not sure yet.
I'm starting to see a real trend in these WiFi issues. There have been a lot of threads about it lately. I don't know what is causing the problem though.
I had my WiFi shut off again today with the same issue. The fix I posted earlier worked again but having to do this every few days is not going to be acceptable...
I REALLY am enjoying ics and arhd 6 but I'm afraid between this WiFi problem and the fact that T-Mobile WiFi calling doesnt work I might be going back to gingerbread...

Strange problems with Galaxy r

Ok so it is like this:
I bought my galaxy r here in sweden 1 year and 3 months ago, it was working perfectly for around 1 year.
At the one year mark i started to have some problems with the touchscreen where the phone would feel a pressure in the middle of the screen, to get rid of this i simply locked and unlocked the phone or rubbed a bit with a cloth on the screen.
Recently when I saw there was a cm10.1 rom with nightlies I rooted my phone and later installed the cm10.1 rom. Now the most anoying thing. I have a problem with my battery where the phone just shuts down randomly (mostly when playing games) even though it sometimes have up too 80% battery remaining. Then when I restart the phone it usually have 0% battery left and therefore shuts itself down again, sometimes it restarts with just a 20-30% batteryloss. This have occured more often recently and it shuts itself of 3-4 times a day. I can't remember if it was like this when i was on stock, before I started to flash and root, but i think it was.
A few days ago i flashed stock ics from odin and I confirmed that both of these problems still were there, so i have hard to belive that it is the modding of the software that have caused this.
Do you guys have any suggestions to how i can be able to use my phone normally again?
Im just a poor student so i don't want to waste money on a new phone after just 1 year :/

It may be help you but first tell me, are you restoring data from titanium backup or something related to that..??
Also if you want to take backup then take it using Super backup application.

Nope, im not takeing backup of anything.
And one other thing i forgot to mention earlier, the phone now also thinks it is charging itself evrn when it is not. It think the usb cable is still connected.
I hope OP doesn't mind that I'm joining his thread, I'm experiencing the same problems on my gfs phone and don't know what to do.
I just installed the fresh CM 10.1 nightlies (did Cache/Data/Dalvik Wipe) and she is experiencing pretty much the same problems:
After 1 or 2 hours of unplugging the phone gets stuck and shuts down. After restarting the battery percentage is pretty low and the phone shuts down again (even if the battery says ~10%). The battery percentage then changes every restart, but is always between 0 and 20%. The phone is barely usable in this state :/
I couldn't wipe the SD card (.android_secure) because the swapped paths, could this be related?
Thank you in advance!

It shouldn't be happened. But if u are feeling so, just flash any stock GB using odin v1.87. Then just wipe all data and cache. Install cm10.1 over that using method 2.

I'm definitely going to try this, but as it seems now i think it is more about a faulty battery/hardware that software?
Or have these kind of problems been fixed software before?
One other thing, if i have rooted my device, does the root dissappear when i flash stockrom using odin?

May be hardware or software too..when you will vanish all data & cache then Software issue may be gone but if problem still persist, means you have hardware problem.
Also, root will be lost after flashing Stock ROM from ODIN.
I'm able to also confirm, that Procedure II didn't help the problem. I really doubt it is a hardware fault, because of us two having the exact same problem after flashing the same rom.
@Dippn: Do you know which nightly build you used? In my case it was the nightly build "20130405". Also could you check which baseband you are on? (Under About Phone -> Baseband Version) Over here we have i9103NEKI1
The only special thing we did I can think of is flashing a modem file (when we were still on the unofficial cm10.1 without these kind of problems, but massive battery drain), because there was a call problem going on for customers of the austrian provider 3 and CM10.1.
I could analyse the problem a bit more today: It seems as soon as the phone gets busy (for example from the browser loading pages or in DippN's case processing a game), the touch screen gets unresponsive and everything starts to lag and delay or freezes completely until it shuts down the phone. Could be either CPU or RAM related, I guess. I just wonder what caused this, even if the nightly had a faulty kernel, this should be fixed as soon as we flash another ROM, right?
I will be able to try a different ROM on monday. It would be great, if you could report, if the downgrade to GB helped the issue. I'd like to try a different baseband, if you are on the same right now too.
Greetings and thank you so much for trying to help us, vikesh!

Well, we are not on the same baseband. I'm on I9103XXLQ3.
About the cm verison im not quiet sure, the latest i flashed was "20130406" but since the problem were there the time before that when i flashed cm I cant answer exacly but i have a cm version "20130305" on my desktop and it could be that one that I used.
I never used cm before it was on nightlies so the modem file flashing i dont know anything about.
The thing you mention about that it shuts of when the phone gets busy and touchscreen gets unresponsive I can kind of confirm too.
I will flash GB now, will report back in an hour how it went.

Flashed GB using v1.85 and now I am stuck in bootloop, after 10 sec at the samsung logo it restarts and repeat. >.>
When the phone restarted after the flash and after it says "-updating application" it says:
Installing Multi-CSC
Can't access to '/system/csc/NEE/system/'.
Successfully applied multi-CSC.
I have no idea what this means but could it mean anything?
EDIT: I got it to start by wipe cache and data. (thought i should do that when cwm was installed)
Unfortunately already in the startup options when u write wifi password the touchscreen became very unresponsive and when i after a few min had succeded writing the password the phone shut of when it tried to connect to it! :,(
I can also confirm that it still thinks it is charing when it is not becuase the symbol in the statusbar flicked from battery to charging symbol.
Is there anything else softwarerelated that I can do?

No wifi signal.......no sim signal help please !!!

ello,
I need file for HTC U-11 Version 8.0 latest one,Following are the details
cid: BS_US001
mid: 2PZC 50000
product: htc_ocnwhl
after ruu and custom rom flash phone boots up normal, however I cant get pass the blue setup screen wizard as my phone isnt seeing any wifi connection and sim card isn't detected. So am stuck there, are there any file to restore my wifi signal and sim signal. I can enter TWRP though. Any and ALL help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
I have a very similar problem, however I am and have always been on stock ROM. Yesterday suddenly my phone lost wifi and telephony connection. It was just there, sitting on my desk, one minute it was working and I was checking my e-mail, the next one it was not. The phone now detects no SIM card and if I try to enable wi-fi it just hangs in "enabling" status for some time until it gives up and disables it again.
I think it might be some hardware or low-level issue, even if I am having a hard time how anything could happen while my phone was sitting on the desk. Next step is a hard reset and if it doesn't, then there is no hope left I think.
Your symptoms are similar, even if it happened after flashing. The only thing which I hope might help you is that, assuming that your situation is comparable to mine, if you manage to get past that screen or to access the Bluetooth settings, you can probably connect the phone to the internet through Bluetooth tethering. Once you are connected to the internet, many things are easier. Also, is that blue screen the one forcing you to sign in to a previously synced account (factory reset protection)? If so, there used to be a loophole in this, there are several youtube videos about it which you can easily find. Perhaps it's still there.
EDIT: Sorry for the necroposting, for some reason I overlooked the date of the original post.

Just for future reference: my U11 never resumed working after this. I kept using it for two full months, after moving my SIM card to a spare phone (good old M8) and using bluetooth tethering to get it to connect to the internet. I hoped that
for some reason the problem would at some point just go away by itself, which of course wasn't the case. I didn't try a factory reset because other people had no luck with it. So no happy ending for this story.
Should anybody else encounter this problem and land on this thread, I have nothing better to recommend than just doing the same: don't bother trying to fix it, move your SIM card to some older spare phone and use bluetooth tethering to bring the U11 to the internet. This will win you some time to pick a new phone without rushing, while critical things like Whatsapp, authenticator apps and so on will keep working, making it easier to migrate to the new phone.

I had similar situation. My battery juiced down and closed automatically. Then i plugged it to charge, waited for full charge and then opened it. Wifi and Sim were not working after booting. It was there before power is over ans it has gone after powering it back. I tried many things as factory reset wipe cache/dalvik etc. By the way I was using lineage os 17.1 for a few months.
The only thing that worked was flashing original stock rom via download mode. after this i got sim working back but no wifi still. now i am using it as a spare phone with only mobile internet connection.
I showed it to a few repairmen but they told me it is onboard wifi at motherboard of phone and they can't fix it without replacing motherboard which is quite expensive nearly as a new phoe.
If anyone know how to bring wifi back please tell me too.

yes, this can be fixed, i had the same problem coming back to stock from los 17.1, you need to downgrade to oreo then let it update to pie, but it depends on the phone you have, mine is us unlocked, there is a tutorial here somewhere on how to do it. look see if you have a wi fi mac address if it's 2x.00.00.00.00.00, it same as i had.

Yes i have same wifi mac address as 2x.00.00.00.00.00
Thanks for advise, i will try it. Can you refer me a manual for this downgrading? I looked to forums but there is a problem that says it can't be done if it is s-on. I unlocked bootloader before installing los 17.1. Also they say it can only be downgradable from oreo to nougat. So, if you can share a guidance for how to do downgrade from pie to oreo when s-on, it would be grade.

here's what i did:
1. connect the phone to pc and boot into bootloader
2.flash hosd_signed.img (fastboot flash hosd hosd_signed.img) this has to be the hosd for your software
3.once done boot into TWRP and rub the HTC dev info tool
4.change the version number into 2.42.617.7(this is for us unlocked)and hit save apply all changes'
5.run the oreo RUU for your phone.
Where can i find the hosd file?

that is for us unlocked, if your phone is not us unlocked i don't have another hosd.
So I was able to solve this problem by flashing the oreo RUU from htc, then flashing twrp, complete wipe, and restoring a previous LOS 10 backup. Now my wifi is restored, and mobile data is back to normal.

@abhi2301: sorry for answering so late. Unfortunately I couldn't fix this problem. I kept using the phone for two months after moving my SIM card to a spare phone and connecting the U11 to the internet using Bluetooth tethering, which was the only thing that worked. I kept hoping that at some point connectivity would start working again, but that wasn't the case. I eventually gave up. Sorry for not having better news.
As you probably read (from post #13 on), other users had better luck by flashing a RUU, hope this can work for you too.
Cheers
