Does anyone know of a video player where you can adjust the playback speed? - General Questions and Answers

Does anyone know of a video player where you can adjust the playback speed? Either with preset speeds (1.2x 1.5x 2x for example) or preferably the ability to adjust by scrolling up through them?

Which MP3 player for 2X speed at Regular Tone?

Which MP3 player can play at 2X speed with Regular Tone?
On my PC, I use KMPLAYER (free at download.com for PCs) to play school lecture tapes at 1.5x or 2x speed. It's control box has an option for "Regular Tone" so the voice sounds just like the normal person speaking, with no "chipmunk" effect from the faster speed.
For my htc Herald/Wing, I'm currently using TCPMP, but anything over 1.25x speed sounds like chipmunks on crack. I do not know of any other PPC mp3 player that can change the playback speed. And I don't know how the KMPlayer does the Tone/frequency correction at faster speeds.
Is there currently an MP3 player for the WM PPC that can change the playback speed and make it sound like "Regular Tone"?

[Q] Video Playback Speed

Hi guys,
I am considering getting a Note 10.1 as I watch alot of Videos where I take notes / or doing exercises in a PDF at the same time. Does anyone know if it is possible with the default Video Player to change speed of the playback as I would like to be able to multitask between taking notes whilst a Video is running at a faster playback speed?
I currently just run enounce on a PC for speeding up playback of but would prefer a more portable device when travelling etc ...
TIA
You can always download VLC and use its extensive feature, so you shouldn't have any problems with that.

[Q] Best way to improve performance of playback of this anime?

Hey guys,
I downloaded this torrent of Hunter x Hunter the other day and since the files are in 10-bit, I have to play them with the S/W decoder, which causes the playback to be pretty laggy in a half the scenes.

My first idea was to convert all the files to 8-bit, but I'm not sure if the difference in quality is worth it. If it is, what is the best way of converting them to 8-bit video? Also, does 10-bit make a difference in 1080p phones?
After thinking about the possible loss of quality from the conversion, I was thinking of other ways to modify the files to smoothen playback or to enable HW/HW+ decoder support, but I couldn't think of anything.
Also, I have a Nexus 5 and I enabled "Use speedup tricks" and set the CPU core limit to 4.
Is there any way I could improve the performance of the playback (including converting files)?
Finally, this is a bit off-topic, but what color format should I use when watching anime? I heard that YUV is the best for Blu-ray rips, but I'm not sure. I also don't know the best color format for DVD and TV rips.
Thanks you. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Bump.
There is a thead for speaking about 10-bit videos.
