Here i want to show you, how you can install the new Touchwiz 5 Launcher ON your GT-N7000
You need to be rooted!
How to install:
1. Download the Zip from the attachements
2. Copy it to the root of your sd-card
3. Install it with CWM

Since touchwiz runs on both international and AT$T note do you think this would work on AT&T note?

Long press to home screen- click "Add to Home screen- Apps- Widgets- select weather widget...

Its not going to overwrite your old touch wiz launcher..... After installing this app you have two launchers one is new one & other one is old one....

Does the lib file replace a lib file or is it a new one (i.e. can I manually delete safely) on LPY for example ?
The apk also needs editing for the dimensions to cater correctly for the dpi setting otherwise widgets will be skewed or squashed.
Can anyone confirm the S-Pen functionality ??
Is it able to take screenshots on the home screen and launch S Memo Lite on double tap

Use Root Explorer to delete Seclauncer2.apk from /system/app folder. You are done.

HI guyz finally touch wiz 4 is working on our device. Previously it was not working in our device
In there, you will find severall added options:
For appdrawer:
-column count
-item count per page
-free sort mode / alphabetical sort
-enable/disable colored tiles
For Homescreen:
-enable Landscape mode (if you change from off to on -> needs a reboot to take effect)
-use big page indicator icons
-whether to show the App names
-uninstall apps from homescreen [on/off]
-page indicator icon fades off after swiping [on/off]
-amount of rows on homescreen
-screen count
-defaultscreen (starts at 0)
-amount of icons in dock (not tested with higher numbers then 5)
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED
2. USE ROOT EXPLORER AND MOUNT THE SYSTEM AS R/W.
3. PLACE THE TouchWiz30Launcher.APK IN SYSTEM/APP
4. NOW PLACE THE libglcanvas.so IN THE SYSTEM/LIB

One thing you can mention is that user should install another launcher because if this one fails, only option left will be to reflash. With another launcher a person can replace original files (someone who is not much aware of adb)

dude it depends on you whether you like or not
tried on DDBK2 non deodexed and it works great...
Remove both apk and odex file from system/app and copy the touchwiz4.apk. It works great.
Some widgets are not working but i am copying over the new widgets..
is it possible to have sg2 lock screen? i know i am too demanding

How can i try the lockscreen?
you have to port that from galaxy s i9000.. it has already ported to i9000

you can't
why don't you use adw launcher or launcher pro. They are much more smoother and stable than touchwiz. But launcher pro hasn't been updated since a year.

I am not going to install this, but did you guys try to move the APK to /system/app/ instead of installing it?
Maybe that way it will show up in the app draw.
I did try moving it to system/apps then change perm to rwrr then reboot but still not showing in my app drawer...I hope there is a work around for this.... this is a nice application

Well obviously it's using the Samsung Touchwiz framework so without it, you're screwed, unfortunately. Although it's a good excuse to get a Note...

Criskelo ICS LQ3 v8, LPT Modem, Speedmod k3-5 kernel, AT&T
The trick is to install S Hearth:
1, Build.prof Modify and change the "name.device" and "name.model" by I9300 and reboot.
2 º Enter the Samsung Apps and install S Hearth. Start it.
3 º Restore Build.prof with N7000 and enjoy.
Also works with Music Hub.

I find the apk in the data/app folder but I don't see that app in the app drawer. Could you please comment on what I'm missing?

Try to download it again. Or try to copy the folder / system / app. Restart your phone into recovery and fix permissions. (If you have root, of course ...)

I downloaded it again and installed/rebooted, but widget doesn't work. I'm not currently rooted so I can't try the system / app method.

On official S3 JB, it did not work. Fix permissions did not change anything.

One is launcher apk other one optimus basic theme (68mb one)

unfortunately no, but that is the only drawback.
basically, from what I have read, it is a Sony version of Swiftkey...
Lock screen Settings
Thank you. It's a nice launcher, better than the samsung touchwiz. I'm using stock 4.3. Does someone experience error with the Lock screen settings (unfortunately home has stopped message) ? Home screen settings works fine.
Can you only upload the launcher only without the themes
