Good evening, everyone. I have searched everywhere, but have not been lucky to find whether it would be possible to port the Galaxy S3 dialer (phone) to the Galaxy Note. Thank you.

where can i find the gs3 dialer in this rom?

It's usually the contacts app. I just pulled it from criskelos ROM

Download criskelos ROM. Unzip it with root explorer and in the system/app folder (of the rom) you will find contacts.apk. Extract that and take note of where it is extracted to. Go to your notes system/app folder and rename contacts.apk to contacts.apk.bak and contacts.odex to contacts.odex.apk. Then go back to the extracted folder and copy contacts.apk to your system/app folder. Reboot and should be fine. if you find you don't have enough room then delete some of you're live wallpapers in the same folder. You can always revert by going backwards.

I think our friend wants original sg3 contacts and not the themed one (like sg3 contact .apk) that criscelo using.

this also requires phone apk,its just contact apk

real problem with the dialer is that one cannot use it with one hand ... no way one can reach the top buttons!
the default ics dialler has the advantage that swiping you can change the tabs

I downloaded Giggino's apk. I like it. Molto grazie!

might it need to be rework m not sure but there is something to do with framework moreover on which firmware u r or any body else got it to work on 4.0.4 firmware

the new gallery is similar to galaxy note 2.

Then navigate to system you will see a file called puild.prop open it by using any editor then search for ro.product = n7000 change it to ro.product = n7100

How did you get it to work? I have cleared Facebook, Home and Messenger and I edited the build.prop. I changed all N7000 to N7100.. Was that wrong? I am on Paranoid Android if that matters.
Got it working. Forgot to reboot.. Derp.

How to enable the sms or messaging? I successfully installed and its working but everytime i have a message or sms it does not pop up in the screen..can you help me?

[APP] Exclusive Twitter app for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition

So i downloaded the latest stock firmware for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (SM-P601) so i can play with it later to see which apps can be ported to our old but still awesome Note 10.1's...
For now here's the twitter app i pulled that's only available for the 2014 edition.. everything works except i can't see the option to draw using the S-Pen since it only works with the gallery from the 2014 Edition..

yup i tried several apk's like AccuweatherTablet2013.apk., GearManagerStub.apk., MagazineHome.apk., PolarisOffice5_Tablet.apk., SecLauncher3.apk., SketchBookStub.apk., SNote3.apk and a bunch more but most of them gave me FC's... guess the API level gap is too big..
i'll try porting them later so let's see..

Just installed it. We now have the Twitter widget & it seems to have fixed a few minor bugs, but it's pretty much what we saw in the previous leak. You said you couldn't see the option to use the S-Pen, but it's there when I go to tweet something. Though the app does force close when I try to use the draw feature. Anyway, thank you for uploading this.

@NadMaj can u send me that stock firmware so I can try to port it with a couple of my geek friends

you have to extract them from the firmware... use linux diskinternals or similar tools..

I can confirm this. Went to the Samsung App Store & hit update. It made me sign in again & then redirected me to download Spen SDK from the Play Store when I tried using the drawing feature. The drawing feature now works.

Simply use clear default or use this app home manager from play store..

One is launcher apk other one optimus basic theme (68mb one)
Btw no need to install simply put in folder or flash in recovery. .

unfortunately no, but that is the only drawback.
basically, from what I have read, it is a Sony version of Swiftkey...

Lock screen Settings
Thank you. It's a nice launcher, better than the samsung touchwiz. I'm using stock 4.3. Does someone experience error with the Lock screen settings (unfortunately home has stopped message) ? Home screen settings works fine.

Can you only upload the launcher only without the themes
