You can use video calling over 3G on Android Revolution HD ROM, don't know if you're rooted or not though.

Why everyone suggest apps for that? 3g itself support native video call. And its free on our country. (I mean video call or voice call is same price. There is no extra fees.)
I can't believe android didn't has that.

Use tango or qik

or google talk...
Can u not do normal calls with it
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
No. Normal calls and data service are different. I do wish it was built into the dialer instead of using a seperate program, but oh well...
I have a new EVO 4G LTE. Even on the EVO 4G, sometimes google talk won't show the video icon by my name. I haven't ever seen it on the EVO LTE. What's up with this? Is there a requisite I'm missing?

Apparently, this is a limitation on the friends end. Nvm.

I have been looking for a good video chat App, have tried Skype, but it's video quality is crap. Tried qik, and Tango, just wondering what some opinions might be.
What app do you prefer, and what app is available for all phones with a front facing camera, I have noticed some don't have gtalk with video, and/or allow it over 3g.

There's a gtalk enabler in the market that will allow video over 3g.
The highest quality, imo, and the most stable....is messenger from G+.

Thanks, seems like g+ has the best quality.
Tried tango, qik, gtalk, and Skype, all are below standard quality. So far g+ is nice if anyone knows of any other please let me kniw.

Maybe try Yahoo messenger.
Long live the One X
G+ is nicer, smoother, and more stable than all listed, included yahoo messenger. When on a data connection, it's by far the best one in my experience. To get any better, you'll have to switch to WiFi.

Yeah, glad you got it. Works a treat, too, but definitely not the easiest to find.

I am now on HTC one s over 4 g or WiFi. Just did ota to version 1.84
I have slight improvement with Skype but still fuzzy.
I had before cheap Samsung exhibition and Skype quality was amazing.
Any suggestion to improve voice quality?
I am thinking about selling the phone if I can not solve this issue or switch to unlimited voice plan (40 dollars more than what I am paying now).

Can you tell me if you figure anything out?
No. I did some googling it seems defect on all HTC one models. Bye HTC and hello iPhone on T-Mobile 4g I'm nj or straight talk l was hoping to keep my plan with little voice component and use Skype for talk.
