Hi all.
I have Samsung I9003 with camera fault. When we take a snap with "Single Shot" option. Result of picture became totally black and with the same time if we take picture with "Panorama option" it works fine.
I did not use any secret code to update camera firmware. Try to flash rom but problem not solved.
Will someone help to guide me to overcome this problem.?

My camera suddenly stopped working, I took pictures yesterday as usual but this morning when I tried to take some, well the camera just doesn't want to launch itself..
I tried to go back to official roms and such but it didn't change a thing, is there a solution please I don't wanna say goodbye to my qtek9100 camera function

you haven't given much information. Does the camera app start with a black screen? Have you tried to start the app via the shortcut instead of the button. If the camera was bad i'd think the software would still run. Could your button be bad?
No nothing works, it's not even recognized by the pda anymore, I tried to launch it with any way possible, I tried to reflash but it's still not recognized. I also looked if the camera was ok (inside the pda, dunno how to say) but it was still in place, it suddenly stopped being recognized after flashing a rom radio
I didn't really get more answer lol

if you have problems with camera after flshing original rom, then your hardware is broken.

I have found a new method in which you can partially solve the bugs associated with cm 10.1 for ace plus. This method is only tested in Techkang roms. With this trick,you can avoid the delay while taking photos, as well as fix the autofocus partially.The trick is:
First install
CameraZoom fx, it is a paid software,but you can find its cracked versions by simply searching google..
Now open the app,in the settings button(bottom right corner),set autosave on.
Set focus mode to second option,if you need to take photos always by autofocus.
Set focus mode to first option if you need to take photos instantly without autofocus. You will notice no delay when this option is selected.
If you are using first option in focus mode to take photos, never prefocus that is dont try to touch screen to focus, always press the shutter button.If you prefocus by touching screen,the app gets stuck.You need to reboot your device to fix that.
The only problem with this app is that it takes some time to load,unlike other camera applications.

I am using cm 10.1 techkang rom with 2.6 kernel.. Here usb charging works.. The only bug is camera flash, we can only use torch app.. Video recording also works using camera jb+..
I read this somewhere that we can use whatsapps camera app to take photos ....I have been using it and it gives only around 2 sec delay to take photos and the photos come out clear too
Just installed DU v7.7 on my I9195 and it looks great but I've encountered one annoying problem. My stock camera app seems to freeze after I take one shot, it just shows the picture I took. If I try to take another picture, I get the "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." message. When I reopen the camera, I can again take the one picture before it freezes again.

I got a problem with my Mi4 with Lineage 13 (6.0.1).
I tried a couple of camera apps, but my rear camera doesn't work. The app starts for a short time including button for pics etc. but the display stays black (seems like someone had his thumb on the lense). Then I get a message "Can't connect to camera" and the app closes.
One thing, when I start a camera app, the lens make a sound like it would took a photo.
What do you guys think? Camera defect or problem with the custom rom? For notice, I had the same problem with Lineage 14 (7.1.1).

software problem.
Try clean flashing again. Or shift to other ROMs
hi ..am facing issue with my s22 ultra camera ...after taking any pic the effect will not apply directly unless i zoom the pic am talk about any effect .front and rear cam ...portrait ..Night mood ..anything
i reset everything and cleard camera cash ..factory reset ..nothing ..just i success to solve it by flashing the official same rom using odin with full format ...then after week same issue appears
any help please
Is the missing effect also visible if you close and re-open the galery instead of zooming in?

yes exactly ..if i open it from galary i will see it with final effects applied ..the problem that once you took the pic and you can see its under process ..it will not applied automatically ..and yes am in the latest may update ..ave4 may update
what is the solution ..i cannot keep flashing and installing my apps again and again
Interesting, he said it is not about the portrait effect...
For some it helped to uninstall the latest gallery updates.

aolved dear for me ..i uninstalled gallary update then directly cleared camera cash and data the restart ...solved
