I'm also on ordroid, but, when I take a photo on instagram, all freezes and stops responding (non of buttons working on instagram or other buttons), when screen lights out and press turn on button (hope to go to lock screen) it boots on as switched on. Reinstall does all the same
Works fine on VI 4.0.1. Although personally I don't see what is all the hype about.

What's the benefit of using Instagram?
It's another 'cool' app to have for photo blogging - effects are quite nice
Just installed instagram.. currently using sense 4.0 insert coin rc1.. took some photos and upload it to fb.. one FC occurred when to choose profile pic.. the rest seems to be ok...

I cant really see an actual benefit of using it. It seems this app is aimed towards hipsters and females
I always try to take the best picture with realistic colours , why would I ruin it with lame filters that mimic old camera ?

Picture slide show

Question. Does anyone know of a way or think they will ever make a way to record the slide shows in gallery ?. You can add music and everything just can't record. Which is a bummer because I could use it for my blog.

Contact picture size?

Just want my contact pictures to be clear and not messed up.

Blame Google. They resize contact pics after syncing. They say using Google + keeps higher res images, but everybody in your contacts would have to use Google +
I use full screen caller id & really like it
Try HaxSync if you use Facebook. Gives high quality images and has a lot of syncing options.
Rabble rabble rabble.
I'm just using regular pics I've taken myself. Still can't get them to look right.

They aren't going to look right. As mentioned before google resizes the images after they are synced so its just that small thumbnail size you see in the contacts list. But when you receive a call etc., that small thumbnail size is blown up and that causes the distortion issues because it's making a small resolution photo larger.

[Q] Sensation Camera vs Thunderbolt Camera

Both are 8mpx, but my friend with the Thunderbolt is showing me pics in person, and sending me pics via MMS, and even those are making my pics look terrible.
I'm using the HD Camera apk snagged from the One S, but even on the stock camera apk, my pics can't even compare to the Thunderbolt's pics.
Why is this?
I would assume its along the lines of "Because the camera's not that good."
I know its not a great answer, but I'm not gonna make excuses for HTC. Sometimes this phone takes great pictures, other times, they're just bland and noisy.
I think the Thunderbolt and Sensation have the same sensor.

Is it possible for you to post a few examples?

Does it work for you on the N5? I use it to, and it doesn't work on my N5.
Odd, seems to work fine for me. Had no contact images before installing. And all contacts after syncing.
Have you signed into Facebook with it and run a full sync?

cheers, worked perfectly did you guys tick the birthday option?
also what size do you set the pictures, they don't look so sharp with max supported selected (default)
I have used HaxSync on my Galaxy Nexus for a while and it works flawlessly. Have yet to get my N5 to test it on that...
