Hi guys! So I'm obviously new here, the HTC One X being my first Android phone. I have rooted and unlocked my One X's bootloader (AT&T) and installed the ClockWork Recovery Tool. I decided that I wanted to install the Android Revolution HD ROM (First Custom ROM, was on the Stock Sense), and so I followed the instructions, first I put the Super Wipe files and the ROM intself on the SD Card, then I flashed the boot.img to my phone through fastboot, then I went to Recovery from the bootloader screen and tried to install the Super Wipe zip file...
This is when things began to fail, the Install was aborted, giving me "Status Code 0." When I tried to Install the ROM Itself after this, the install for that was aborted, too. "Status Code 1." Does anyone have any advice? Thanks Guys!
My advice would be to post the question in the Clockwork or Revolution forums.

Dear all,
I am very new to android. I want to change better ROM for my HTC one s.
I have my S3 HTC one rooted with superboot following the below post from paulobrien
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577831
I have installed Goomanager and TWRP recovery.
I want to flash the TrickDroid Rom as follows:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1637102
As tell from the heading, it's compatible for S3 ?
But when I scan the Q & A section, it says "Do not use this ROM if you have an S3 processor based One S"
I m a bit confused for which ROMs are compatible for S3.
It also says " Relying on TWRP to flash the boot.img is not reliable. Please use the Boot_flash_script to flash the boot.img or do it yourself in fastboot. Having an incompatible boot.img is the common reason for being stuck at the boot logo.?
I have stupidly tried to flash it with the boot_flash_Script and it stuck at the boot logo.
is there any compatible boot.img specially for s3 processor which can run for the TrickDroid?
1. If the ROM is compatible with s3, how can I flash it ( I m just a newbie, really need those step by step guides)
2. are there any ROMs which are compatible with s3
3. is there any better method to root from phone in such a way that my phone will be compatible with most of the ROM [stupid enough]
4. anyone having the same case with me? [s3, root by superboot, Goomanager and TWRP]
5. I have flashed it with the boot.img from TrickDroid thread and it was stuck in the htc boot logo, fortunately i was able to boot it by superboot (from paulobrien). But then I cannot use switch on my wifi connection and I need to use superboot (through my computer) to boot my phone otherwise it just stuck at the htc logo.
Is there any method that I can restore my phone (restore to the situation before I flashed the TrickDroid) ?
Sorry, I should have posted this questions under the Trickdroid thread...but i m just too new to post in the development page.
Now that the new Lollipop update came out, I want to install it on my rooted stock Android Nexus 5. I have tried Wiping data from CW Recovery, and then installing the image-hammerhead-lrx22c.zip . After finishing the install and check the settings, I get 5.0 as the version of Android on the phone.
That zip is meant to be used with fastboot. Not recoveries. Please read stuff before trying if you don't know what you're doing.

Click to collapse
You could try extracting the boot.img from you custom rom, placing it in your adb folder, then flash the boot image all by itself with TWRP. That has pulled me out of bootloops....
Im new to this flashing rom thing, but i catch on real fast if explaned to well... Anyways i have been trying to install a custom rom which i got from this site as well and when i installed the rom it loads up to the screen and iwas able to configure everything but it stucks after i finish configure it and and it only says loading for hours but wont go away .... Hi.
I did not flash the ROM that you mentioned (Primo-S)!
Which recovery do you use to flash the custom rom? I had some issues with CWMR and had to switch to TWRP ... to flash CM 11 on the Desire-S.
Regards.
Hi.
After rooting the phone (with CMWR) I flashed TWRP recovery to the HTC Desire S (TWRP-saga-2.8.7.0-unofficial.img)
After booting in recovery I installed CM 11 (cm-11-20150702-UNOFFICIAL-XNG3C-saga.zip)
Due to the limited space on the HTC Desire S I installed only a reduced set of GAPPS afterwards (gapps-444-base-20150818-1-signed.zip plus some Gapps afterwards).
So last night I went about installing a new custom ROM on my HTC One S, proceeded to unlock via the official app, and completed that step.
Upon attempting to install the custom ROM (that I got from the official CM site, the ROM being CM12, made sure it's for my device), I also deleted the backup I made of the system and now I am stuck with a bricked phone.
The problem is : I have a ROM and a custom recovery, BUT whenever I try to install the ROM, I keep getting this error message
E:Error executing updater binary in zip
Error flashing zip
The phone has been flashed before to android 4.4 with HTC Sense 6, if that information helps.
As I said, the custom ROM is from the official site, stable version, and the phone is bootloader unlocked.
Solution
Solved, had to install a ROM that complied to the HBOOT version (i.e. 2.16.0)
