Awesome
These widgets look great!!!! OMG I have been waiting for this, especially the inbox one.
Running SR2.5.2 Vanilla with LP.
Thanks+1
Time to rip some stuff out of the dump
CM6 RC3
Wow, this is great.
By the way, if anyone is using Launcher Pro, this widget resizes horizontally very well.
When resized vertically the contact picture gets larger so it takes up more room. The voicemail message is given only 3 lines, no matter how large you make it. I will attach screenshots.
Thanks for this!!!
Anyone know if this is intended to bring VOIP calling to Android devices? Also is there anyway to resize this widget so it takes up 1x4 instead of 1x3?
Oh my goodness I love your dock background!

The only way I know of to resize the widget would be with something like launcher pro plus or you can do it by default if you're running CyanogenMod

By default he means with ADW Launcher. Cyanogen includes it in the rom but it is available for download. It is free in the market.
Thanks OP for posting the link. I saw this when it first came out on the G2 forum section but I couldn't get anyone to post at least a picture and I didn't want to go through all the trouble just to extract the new GV app(I'll let someone else do that). I just wish Google would put the voicemail feedback section in their mobile app that way i don't have to get on my computer to give feedback.
Awesome, thanks for the link. Loving the.widgets.

Anyone tried this with 2.1? Anyone with an Incredible in this forum even still on 2.1? ha
Thanks for the heads-up lou! Can't wait to see if any other new gapps fall out of that dump. BTW Widgets are great. Makes sending text with gvoice much more streamlined.
I just switched back from thundershed to sense because I couldn't get voice to text to work well in a moving car or other place with noisy background.
It was suggested that some other keyboard might help. Is it true that the voice to text function is affected by the keyboard? I thought it was a native android process only activated by the keyboard? Does each keyboard have its own voice to text algorithm?
In sense I use the same keyboard and voice to text works fine in my car. I thought I was using swiftkeyx but I am actually using smart keyboard.
I think its the rom. Ive only had good voice 2 text with sense or desensed roms, not aosp. You can try an aftermarket voice recog app from market if you really want aosp.

From what I can see those apps only work with their own sms app and i use google.voice for sms.
I also use v to t in emails.
I found one that worked with stock app, but cant remember which one

I'm running Liquid Gingerbread 3.2 and LeanKernel 6.1.0 and voice to text is working fine for me. Did you try flashing another kernel.
Most keyboards don't have their own voice to text. Some might but none that I know of.
I'm using the same kernel as you are. It's best for bluetooth which i also need. Can you talk to text in a moving car?
Would someone be so kind as to share the People app apk that comes with vanilla ICS? (I hate the Samsung version of contacts app)
Thanks!

Won't work with our devices. Same with mms.apk. at least not now

I found an alternative to the dialer, look at ex dialer on the "play" market (I really hate this new name, I wish Google go back to Android Market) and apply the ICS theme.
It looks and works great

Running SkyIcs since Base4 update 8. One thing that has carried throng all updates till the current 13ish is that on contacts / recent calls tab, clicking on the contact image opens up a quickview list of available numbers. These are black on black and hard to read, would be great if this could be fixed or back to stock colors. On the same note the rendering of the 'phone' icon when any contact is opened looks out of place (white box with a central black strip and a blue phone icon).
Is there any easy way to change the contact icons or colors back to stock?
Please see the link below for pics. Had been asked in q&a but no clear directions for the fix.

Wish I could help, but I'm having the same problem.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
From what I can tell it's related to the phone.apk (dialer), when I flashed the KOBALT theme the issue went away as the contacts and phone are themed with a transparent background. I didn't like the dialer as it didn't have the contacts tab in it as with Seanz's rom, so I over wrote the apk's to get back to the dialer and the problem returned.

Wish I had the know how to did into the dialer and stuff.. guess we need to wait till the dialer is fixed in the stock ROM. My understanding is that the same issue exists on the stock.. many folks have tried flashing multiple ROMs hoping to fix this but all ROMs based on the latest leak had this issue. Wonder if anything can be ported from the T Mobile S2 Ics from today.

Hey guys, i've looked everywhere on here and rootzwiki for the ics aosp mms.apk.
Its the white version, not the inverted one. Im running leedroid 2.1.0 and I found another white version off of another website but after installing it, it won't send mms like the inverted one.
I had the regular white version before and it sent mms, but had to wipe my phone recently and lost the file.
if anyone has it and it sends mms, please upload it. thanks!
White aosp mms.apk from CM9 yesterdays build

It sends mms on cm9... idk about a sense rom.... u should be fine
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
haha well, i still cant send mms. idk why. Last time I just installed the white one and it worked fine without having to tweak the apn or anything.
when i try to send mms, it lets me set it up but when i hit send, it vanishes

What about when u hit back cap key after hitting send... does it show up then? Or is it like how the inverted mms is? It must be a compatibility issue with sense... idk

its acting just like the inverted mms. The message vanishes as soon as i tap the send key.
this is sooooo strange!

AOSP messaging app needs to be edited to send mms on Sense ROMs. I'm not sure what the trick is, but you can try one of these apps from Google Play..

or

so im a dummy haha, i installed the mms from cm9 and then i went to systems/apps and cleare the data and it works! I tried it with the black inverted version and it works too! I can send mms with both!
The only weird thing is that on the white version, the keyboard has a smiley button and I can install a modded ics keyboard that has a noseless smiley (smileys without the nose) but in the inverted version, the smiley button is an enter button and I cannot change it regardless of installing the noseless smiley button or not.
but its not a big deal, I can send pictures!
thanks glacierguy!

Where are you finding the inverted one?
Sent from my H1S using XDA Premium.
The inverted one is in thread called tweak machine in themes and apps section, it has all inverted AOSP apps.
Will try the ones linked to on market, the AOSP MMS app, inverted or not is my biggest headache by far on the One S. Send or recieve pics doesn't ever work on CM9, doesn't work on leedroid, modaco... gets stuck on "sending" for me, haven't seen that the message disappears since on a sense ROM I believe.
I got it, thank you!

Your idea to go into manage apps and clear data works perfectly! I'm now running AOSP inverted MMS on completely stock 1.84 rooted and it sends pictures no problem. Thank you.

Top one has ads, bottom one is claimed by the author probably not to work with MMS's, seems many ppl just don't use MMS (as opposed to SMS which works very well in AOSP app) Maybe that explains why so many ppl claim that AOSP MMS works for them. Are we the only guys here with a girlfriend with a medieval phone who needs MMS functionality?

Open your app manager and select the "all" tab, scroll to mms.apk and select it, then tap "clear data". Reopen your mms app and send photos. It's that easy.

Yeah sadly this doesn't work for me, might be a solution to get it working on Sense ROMs though. What is the version of the app you're running?

4.0.4
Sent from my H1S using XDA Premium.
gave this a whirl and adb pushed the Mms.apk from aokp milestone 6 to /system/app/Messaging+CRC_1.apk (i think thats what its called in sense for some reason haha) then went and wiped data and the emoji support is working in leedroid
Got MMS working on CM9 20120716, dunno if it was new upstream CM changes or that I changed APN settings to match what was in an old screenshot I finally found from stock HTC rom, but it works fine with AOSP app as well as the inverted 4.0.4-eng-travp264.20120602.222408 from tweak machine 1306. Attached screenshot with APN settings for Three (3)Sweden if anyone needs... Only one APN, not two as default in CM9.
