So setting flash on ondemand or off doesn't stop flash from loading in the ics browser. Is there a fix for this? Would love to know. I'm running hyper sense with 4.0.3

This one is real good

tried Virtuous Quattro and Extreme Senseless Blitz. They were both good for everyday use. I wanted senseless rom too but sacrificing beats audio for me is not good enough thats why I keep coming back to sense version.
The virtuous quattro rom is based off pure AOSP, and the bluetooth/camcorder isnt working among other things. An alternative ICS rom without sense would be virtuous inquisition, which I am using now. It leaves the camera app and the music app (optionally) from the HTC roms, to provide an almost-stock ICS experience with alot more functionality.

What does beats do? Isn't it just an equalizer?

yes basically its a pre-loaded equalizer setting
i have no problem with the beats branding and the hardware (good earbuds/headphones that are a tad overpriced), but the beats software is a joke and i can't believe that people actively look for ROMs with the "feature"
usually these are the same people like HTC Sense (also awful software)

Yep, it made the transition from GB Sense bloat to ICS aosp nosense a positive experience!
try this
use insert coins rom and its deodexed so you can flash the theme that removes sense counterparts and turns it into ASOP with beats....

Thanks for the explanation. That clears up a lot of confusion I have. I like neutral sounds, so beats is not for me then.

His CM9 ROM is working great for me, fast and stable. I tried VI twice and got crashes followed by bootloop.
Hi
I installed faux's kernel and I'm getting terrible random reboots. Can anyone point me in the direction for a complete stock flashable TMOUS Sensation 4g kernel ? All the ones I'm finding are either overclocked or for the xe.

Anyone ? I found the default kernel boot.img from the ruu but have not idea how to flash it without breaking anything...
Well after much trial and error, I have made my own CWM flashable kernel. Link is below:

Your sensation should handle stock ce kernel (1512). Regular sensation is no different to xe hardware wise.

I believe so but you must find a kernel that is compatible with cm9. I do not know which one that is or if there is? Perhaps someone else knows but I would search and check compatibility of kernels before doing anything. Hopefully you will find what your looking for. But please make sure it's compatible first.

Hi,
Kernels are a personal thing, because everyone uses their phone differently.
Try a kernel for a couple of days ,and see how it works for you.
Look in the DEV Section
You have bricked, faux and sebastian to choose from...
Make a nandroid backup, wipe cache and dalvik, and flash away.
bricked
