So I'm betting I'll get a lot of hate for this, but I ended out trading my galaxy nexus for a Droid charge. Honestly I needed money so I traded someone for a charge plus $200, I thought it was a good deal.
To be honest, after using the charge for about a week I almost like it better than the nexus. I had the nexus since release and in my opinion the charger's screen looks better. ICS didn't wow me like everyone else, not yet at least.
Regardless, I'm not as disappointed as I thought I would be. Running tweaked 2.1 is excellent too. I still have an upgrade available so I'm thinking ill go with HTC again once they release something with a big screen.

The hardware is. The screen wasn't anything to brag about (Rezound's is nicer and released around the same time). The cpu was definitely a step backwards compared to the Exynos in the SGSII, as well as the gpu. Crap radios that are worse than the charge (I'm not sure if this has gotten better). But what makes the Gnex amazing is two things: pure ICS goodness and a HUGE dev commutity - larger than any other phone on Verizon has had since probably the OGDroid. To me this is enough to outweigh the relatively weak hardware.
P.S. The rezound is pretty much the opposite with good/decent hardware but crappy software (I hate all skins be it Sense, TouchWiz, Motoblur, etc.) and much smaller dev community. If that phone would get a fully functioning AOSP rom (AOKP or CM9), it would be better than the Gnex IMO. The only drawback would be the tiny battery.
After using it with ICS for a while I didn't find anything that was overly impressive about it. In fact the software keys at times were more of a pain.

But the software keys would be a hardware issue since they're only there because hardware keys were omitted. Don't get me wrong, I love Tweaked on my Charge (dwitherell is a scholar and a gentleman), but I will take AOSP any day over a skin-based rom. The biggest draw (for me at least) about ICS, other than the ui, is hardware acceleration.
I have at least managed to mimic (somewhat lol) the ICS ui with my TweakedICS theme but it's still not the same. I am content enough though.
I had the charge and I didn't like it. but with $200 extra not a bad deal. overall both of you had a good deal

I have the Rez, and I must say, the development is surprisingly good. No AOSP, but we do have some nice ICS leaks that work quite well. I'm running S-Off with the latest RUU and with CleanROM developer edition. It is very fast, clean, and it is fully functional. Radio reception is good and I get amazing battery life on the extended. Just sayin'...
My Charge is running Tweaked with PBJ, and it is great. I feel pretty lucky that I have, IMO, the two best phones on Verizon.
I bet the Incredible 4G is going be a nice phone, though. I honestly think that the GS3 will be somewhat overrated like the Galaxy Nexus, I just can't jive with pentile.

Sense ICS =/= AOSP ICS. Also, the dev community is still miniscule compared to the Gnex though. I mean come on saying you have amazing battery life with the extended battery is cheating. It's like saying you get amazing mileage on your car but converted your trunk and backseat into an extended gas tank, lol. Almost any phone can get amazing battery life on an extended battery . The Rezound is fast though and has the best screen on Verizon with great radios. That's why I feel the hardware is better than the Gnex but on the software and dev side I still think the Gnex is much better. To each his own though, and as long as you love your device that is ultimately all that matters. I'm still trying to pick up either device on the cheap but I might just wait to use my upgrade in early June.
To me the Incredible 4G is a disappointment spec-wise. I feel like it's a gimped One series phone. Also the screen is too small for my taste. I was really hoping the Incredible 4G was going to be a OneX equivalent a la Evo 4G LTE .

I can see what you're saying, however, CleanROM is de-sensed, and is just very clean all-round. There are plenty of tweaks to make it nicer. I run a custom launcher (keep going back to ADW). But yeah, I get great battery life on the extended, lol. I haven't tried the stock battery, so I can't really comment on that. I agree the Incredible 4G is kindof a pansy phone. The HTC One X is where its at. Good thing I didn't have the money at the time, because AmazonWireless was selling the AT&T HTC One X a couple weeks ago for $530 off contract. Yeah the 16GB internal only storage sucks, but I have other devices with tons of storage.
The screen on the HOX is the best of any phone (of course the same as the new EVO.) In fact, I'd go so far to say the HTC One X (S4 Krait AT&T version being the nicest) is the best phone, period. The lingering question is development. I don't think the AT&T version has an unlocked bootloader yet. AT&T apparently strong-armed HTC into removing the htcdev unlock method.
Also feel like I get an extra hour of screen on time with the charge.

Ok. I have had the inspire since it came out and I think its a huge upgrade from the captivate. My question is, for another $50 should I go to the Atrix?
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
For another 50? It will cost me 100 more plus the 35.00 restoring fee. And I'm buying one today to compare to my inspire. I love the inspire but the atrix also looks nice so going to see which one I keep. The inspire screen looks much bigger than the 4.0 on the atrix, I have to see if it will make a difference web browsing n watching movies.
I'm keeping both for a while. Absolutely love the inspire, but those specs on the atrix are just too irresistible.
Yeah with an available upgrade you can get an atrix for $149 from radioshack. I went from a cappy to a surround to a focus (wp7 needs alot of work) to an inspire. I love it but the screen has some touch issues and it has locked up on me a few times. So I am a little concerned about that. Plus dual core is hard for a nerd like me to ignore.

I loved the atrix at first. Then I tried my inspire. For me at least Android without htc sense just feels like something is missing. I came from a nexus one to nexus s to iPhone 4 and now to my inspire. The atrix seems like As close as you'll get to a pure Google experience on at&t at least. I'm tempted to check one out only because of the awesome screen and hdmi out. But thats bot enough to make me switch from my sense to motoblur. That's the deal breaker for me... if only the inspire had a fingerprint reader
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
That is a very good point about LTE. It may be a monster of a phone but there is definitely no LTE support that I have read about. From my understanding AT&T will be putting out LTE phones this year but not for a while.
Also good to know about motoblur. I am a huge, HUGE, fan of Sense. I came from samsung's horrible touchwiz so sense has completely restored my faith in android. I have read several reviews that were not to keen on motoblur and I don't want to get caught up in constant rom flashing like I was with the captivate. Seems like everyday i was flashing a new rom and that just got old.
Either way, I will never go back to the iPhone. Not unless they make major improvements to their OS. But thats for another thread.
unless I am mistaking the Inspire doesn't have LTE support either, right?
Inspire might not be LTE compatible either, but It's half the price and had a bigger screen.

Yeah, I loathe motoblur. I just got the atrix and I hate it as much as everyone else that I've read. The first thing I'm doing is loading on ADW Ex....
And sense is amazing. It should be the standard on android.
Just came from an AT&T store to handle the Atrix and the 1st impression was WOW, small screen, maybe because there's hardly any bezel it makes the screen seem dwarfish. When I placed it alongside the Inspire it was noticeably smaller. I honestly don't know if I can downgrade in screen size.

I noticed this too.....what a difference from the inspire.....hard to believe the difference is only .3 inches
I just checked the Atrix at my friendly ATT shop, and I'm not sold to exchange my inspire for the Atrix. Colors seem better on the inspire, but the whites look whiter on the Atrix. Quadrant and nenamark1 were amazingly faster on the Atrix. I also checked the laptop dock and I was not impress by it. I check YouTube @ 1080p and it couldn't handle it. Even 720p was jittery. What do you guys think?
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
I too was less then impressed with Atrix so I'll stick with Inspire at least for now. Hopefully Infuse will drop soon.
nevermind ....
CM7 will never make it to the atrix and development will be restricted to the same kernel released by moto. So hell no.
I went to the ATT store with the intent of trading my inspire for an Atrix. I played with it for a few minutes and decided it wouldn't be an upgrade for me. I mainly use my phone for texting, email and twitter. Dual core can't improve that experience very much. Maybe I'd see it a different way if I played lots of games on my phone but I don't.
They even let me play with the laptop dock, which further cemented my decision. It really can't compete with even the cheapest of netbooks out today. Too slow, especially on pages with flash.
I also just like the massive solid metal feel over the plastic of the Atrix.
If you guys are looking for speed, our CPU overclocked to 1.6 feels much faster than the atrix. I'm well satisfied with my purchase.

I'm guessing you probably could it get sooner if you go through AT&T. Actually, I hoping you could because waiting for the GS2 is painful & I need a phone since I returned my Inspire 4G.
I hope it is true. I have been trying to find a release date for quite some time.
I hope it's true also. I'm getting my captivate back from being repaired tomorrow so I will be returning my atrix tomorrow also.
I've tried to like both the inspire and the atrix but for some reason just can't. In my opinion although they may be faster they just don't match up to my captivate. I find myself using my wifes captivate more than my atrix even though she has a pink case on it.

I think those that are use to sense on the htc phones will need some time to adjust to samsungs ui. I'm mainly basing my judgement on the screen itself which on the captivate is only bettered by the iphone 4 in my experience.
The infuse has an updated version of the screen. They are calling it super amoled plus, it's supposed to look better than the iphone from what I've read.
I tried getting use to sense on the htc inspire 4g but after using my captivate and launcher pro and adw launchers I just couldn't get use to it. Being that your an htc guy you may want to look at the incredible s which is also at the site I listed, from what I've read it will work on att. Not 100% on that but it's worth looking in to.

The Captivate is a pretty good phone; fast, has alright battery life, and a great screen, but INO it needs to be rooted and nodded to make it good.
You should definitely get a custom rom on the phone; without putting one on, you're going tovhave to deal without the lag that comes froohone'phone's file system.
The GPS isnt that great either.
All in all, it was a great phone when it came out but it isn't really worth buying now; there are.better phones out there.

Well I have to disagree with FLAC Vest. I happen to think the Captivate is a GREAT phone overall. Yes, you definitely need to put a custom ROM, but doing so makes the performance extremely good and the GPS is just fine if outside or on your dashboard.
The Super AMOLED screen is great, contrast is amazing. I prefer it to the iPhone retina display. Super AMOLED Plus should be even better. I'm really looking forward to the 4.5" screen of the infuse but may wait for a aftermarket battery.
My only gripe with the Captivate is BATTERY, BATTERY, BATTERY. I bought a 3200mah Mugen and it makes a world of difference, I can finally go a whole day without charging instead of 3pm recharges. Only problem is cases don't fit.
I looked at the Atrix because of the bigger battery but it appears that Motorola are almost impossible to put a custom ROM on and the Motoblur interface is consistently bashed on the internet. Just flipping through home screens was DRAMATICALLY slower than my Captivate using ADW Launcher.
@Phytrax
You make some good points, thanks for making that comment. I think we will both agree that the battery life with stock batteries sucks though.
After having the phone for about a month, I bought 2 spare batteries and a ccharger off of eBay; that definitely remedied the problems.

ive had my craptivate since june. My wife has the inspire 4g. As of right now, the inspire is WAY better than the captivate. I have a custom rom, oc/uv etc... and her stock phone is just as fast, gets better battery with a bigger screen and smaller battery? The screen is good. The gps works on hers etc. The captivate is pretty good after you root, rom, tweak the hell out of it, the htc is good out of the box. Thats the difference. At this point, im getting the infuse when it comes out, with the hope that it is good out of the box. If it sucks, im just going return it and get the htc. Samsung gets one more chance from me. The sgs2 is great, but its going to be too pricey, and it probably wont be THAT great, ala MOTOROLA ATRIX. LOL

My wife and I really liked the Inspire 4g but the 1250mah battery scares the hell out of me. Even the talk time numbers show it not lasting as long as the Captivate. I suspect your wife doesn't use her phone as much as you but I'd love to see some real numbers. Maybe you can fully charge both of them and then see how long you can play a certain movie?? With my Mugen battery I can watch a 2 hr movie and have 70% battery left.
I was very impressed with the performance of the Inspire in the store though, much smoother than the Atrix, and the screen was better than I expected.
I personally get better battery life out of my Inspire, but my Cappy needs a new battery. The only thing I miss is the screen--but it's worth the extra speed in my opinion.

The more research I do, the less I am believing the Marh 31st date. (No matter how much I wish it was true) Does anybody else have any info?
I'm also interested in this. I was hoping to use my upgrade on an Atrix, but after hearing about all the issues it has, I think I'll hold out for the Infuse. I have friends that have Galaxy S variants and they seem really happy with their phones.
Maybe I'll just get an iPhone and use it until the Infuse comes out, then jailbreak and unlock it, sell it on eBay and buy the Infuse at full price.

Just my opinion but the screen was horrible compared to the captivate screen.
Now I have an atrix sitting in its box waiting and hoping that the infuse does come out on the 31st. If not I might just return the atrix and buy a tablet instead.
I had high hopes for both the inspire and atrix but neither matched up to my captivate. Guess with warm weather coming its time to stop playing with the phones and get the boat ready for bass fishing.
I keep checking the cells4you.com site and they still have the infuse listed as coming on the 31st.
I am hoping to hear something at ctia but its not looking very good on the phone front. Tablets are stealing the show.

I'm looking to move to Verizon (for coverage reasons - I travel in the rural midwest and plains and have issues with AT&T coverage).
I currently have a Samsung Captivate, running a Gingerbread custom rom. I have no desire to get another Samsung phone - there post release ROM development is non-existent. Don't get me started.
It seems that all of the Android phones currently on Verizon have some issue (from my perspective), but the closest to being a good all-around smartphone is the Thunderbolt.
The primary issue with the TBolt is battery life (from what I can tell).
Here's my question:
Using a stock battery and running a custom rom is it reasonable to get 14 hours of battery life with the following usage:
- 2 hours talk time
- 1 hour email
- 30 minutes web browsing
- 1 hour streaming music (OK, I could do without this)
[edit] From browsing the TBolt Dev Forums, I am leaning towards the Cl3anTh3ory ROM. [/edit]
I would have 2 email accounts - 1 GMail, set up for push notification, 1 IMAP that would poll every 30 min (using K9). I have 6 GCal's to sync and just over 300 contacts.
If I can get 14 hours, here's a follow up question: would you personally wait for the next round of phones to be announced (Sept and Oct) or would you go ahead with a TBolt for $69 (from Amazon with 2 yr contract)?
thanks,
Any future HTC released for Verizon is going to have the same basic guts as an EVO 3D with LTE. At this point, the Tbolt is right in the prime of development. The newer bases are much better in every area and I have no problems getting the kind of life you need doing a bit more than what your asking. My setup is in my sig. Being mostly on cdma, as it sounds like you would be, will stretch your battery even further. And if the stock battery doesn't do the job, the 1750mAh unit that's the same size certainly will.
More than possible. Check out gingeritis 3d and chingys 7/17 radio leak. I get over 24+ hours with average use

Using custom roms, definitely
id wait for the tbolt successor or the gs2 to come tbh.
myself, I would probably wait and see what htc announces next, or maybe the bionic if it ever hits the shelves. Depending on those releases, yeah the tbolt is a great phone that should meet your needs. It's not hard for me to swap batteries if needed, but with the newer roms, battery life is improving.

by the time the bionic comes it will be outdated. verizon waits too long to release phones.
I'm assuming the bionic will have locked boot loaders, which a deal breaker for me. Also, not sure about a 4.5" screen... I actually prefer 4", but can live with 4.3". But 4.5"? Guess it depends on overall device size and weight.
It'd possible on monolithth3ory or cl3anth3ory.

AT&T is no competition to Verizon.
They lack the customer service and the network to compete.

The only phones rumored to have larger than 4.3" screens so far are 2 Samsung phones, and they are expected to be similar to the size of current 4.3" phones because the extra screen size will most likely be in the area of the current buttons at the bottom since ice cream sandwich will not need them. The Bionic has been confirmed to be 4.3"

Where I travel on business, there is really no comparison. Verizon's coverage is sooooo much better. Thanks for the thoughts on the tb hardware.

Agreed. Although I haven't really had major issues with customer service.
I have pretty much the same use as you and I am getting about 1 1/2 days out of my phone. sometimes 2 days between charges and I am on stock battery. '
I am running the monolithth3ory rom and it is great so far. I also have ultimate juice defender running.
so get it, root it, and love it! I sure do
So I have been on these forums since the charge came out. Its too bad the rom choices were limited, but this has been a great community and I appreciate all everyone did to make the charge as good as it could be.
That being said, holy **** is the rezound a bad ass phone.
If any of you are thinking about switching, I fully support that.!
One good thing the charge had going for it was the screen, the screen on the rezound blows it out of the water. And Im saying that as the guy who always pimped to his friends how much better the charges screen was to their phones.
The screen is bright, color rich, and OMG clear with the 720p resolution. You cannot see a single pixel anywhere. Icons are clear and crisp and "pop" out of the screen.
The thing is fast as all hell. Its easily faster than the fastest rom for the charge. We need to get danalo onto the rezound for some dev
HTC sense, love it or hate it, its amazingly simple and elegant. It just works and compared to touch wiz... .. ya
oh ya. GPS WORKS! lol.. No matter where you are, when you hit google maps. your location is there instantly. No waiting for lock, no inaccurate locations, it just works.
It is a little thicker than the charge, but it feels very nice in the hand. The rubberized backing is pretty damn nice. It gives it a quality feel while at the same time giving you a better grip.
Beats audio is really 'all that'. Compared to regular audio, its loud crisp and clear with hefty bass hits.
I think the charge is still a great phone, but Im glad to move on. The rezound is a definite game changer. And with ICS just a month or so away, what more could a person want?
-cheers to all, If you are thinking of switching to the rezound, we welcome you over at the forums, if not, enjoy the charge and may we meet again
I'm actually in a debate with myself to do the same. If I sell my charge, I can get the rezound at little to no cost out of pocket since I have an early upgrade. I personally like Sense. Always have since my first port on my G1 lol. But I'm struggling with myself because it is still S-On, and when I had the Dinc2, it took quite a while to S-off, and without rom flashing, I get jittery lol. On the other hand I could wait for the Galaxy, and have many rom flashing choices from the get go. But again, on the other hand, I also get bored of AOSP roms... Decisions, decisions....
And the GNexus will blow this out of the water. Just sayin.
Of course newer dual-core phones with HD screens will be better with one of the last single core phones with non-HD screens. The Rezound looks nice and Beats audio seems like a good bonus, but from what I've read, Beats is all hype and mainly good for music with tons of bass. I've tried a Beats headset once and i wasn't too impressed.

I would have waited and went for the Nexus.

Galaxy Nexus is better. Stock experience is infinitely better than the garbage known as Sense. The Nexus also has guaranteed updates for a long time to come, and there will be way more devs.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but the rezound is a bad choice with the Nexus this close. Imo.

I'm still gonna go with the Nexus, it just seems all around better plus I don't want my ICS experience skinned by touchjizz or sense or *gasp* moto's blur (although sense is nice)... I also don't see the hype over beats audio, their headphones are absolute garbage for anything but bass-heavy music like hip hop so I'm gonna assume the included audio in the phone is the same
anyway that's just my .02ยข, its a nice phone overall and a close second pick for me but enjoy the phone OP

if the nexus wasn't a Samsung product, I would agree with you. ICS will be more like honeycomb is on tablets. notice that any tablet you buy with HC is not "themed".
ICS will be very similar.
The build quality on HTCs phones is, in my opinion, much better than that of samsung phones.
And the GPS is a real issue for me. I litterley got lost several times using the gps on the charge. My friend has a samsung captivate on att with the exact same issues. I know people say "thats never happend to me" and to you, i say "awesome", but just google "samsung GPS". it is not isolated to one phone, its isolated to 1 manufacturer.
The only thing Samsung had going for it were its displays. We all hate touchwiz or else we wouldn't be romming.
If i go with a nexus, i get AOSP roms, and thats it. and for many people thats awesome. I don't know what people dislike about sense, but i think its awesome as do many many others, which is why HTC sense is by far the best manufacture overlay by popular opinion. So with the RZ I get to choose between AOSP and Sense.
And as another user said, I can return this if the nexus is somehow "all that" , however, it being samsung, im willing to be that it will not be.
S-OFF is just around the corner by the way. Apparently they got it working on the amaze recently.
All of these new phones are bad ass, the only thing that makes one better than the other is personal opinion.
Hows it on battery? I'm hoping to get the 90 day exchange for my charge since I have a few dead pixels. The charge usually gets me through a full day... Engadget says this phone will last 12 hours on normal use. Is this true?
Thanks
im trying to sell my charge so i can get on the rezound too. not sure if im going to be able to get it off tho
Can anyone point me to reverting back to stock from gummycharge gbe so i can sell?

i sold mine with gummy lol, i used it as a selling point in my ebay ad
I've been toying with the idea of picking up the rezound but that requires me sselling my charge...and we all know its one of the least desirable phones on the market right now

I run warranty for one of the big 4 (not saying who) and I can tell you that without a shadow of a doubt HTC has the worst reliability of any smart phone we have....
Knowing that, I won't touch an HTC. No offense.. just the truth.
The razr is a repackaged bionic
Samsung gets alot of flack for "build quality " but who cares? HtC build quality is great... but the phones blow.
You can polish a turd all day long.... but at the end of the day.... its still a turd.
Nexus anything is the way to go as its pure android. Take a look at what ics is getting on quadrant and other benchmarks.
Beats audio is Dr Dre driven and not quality at all. Beats only resonates with pop rap fans....
Conclusion : get rid of your htc

what are the prices for them is it craigslist, or literally a new like straight from T-Mobile? Overall in my opinion SGS II or wait for a couple months and get the SGS III, or HTC One S now, I say stay from the G2X cause of lack of support from both parties that put the phone out.
Gs2 any day. Samsung processors kick nvidias sorry ass

Well the sgs2 is average 350+ and they claim it's "like new" or "used for only one week" which I find hard to believe. and the lg g2x average 200+ and I have a pre paid plan from t mobile and love it so I wouldn't be able to get the sgs3 sadly (that phone looks so sexy ) and yes the HTC one s I could most likely get but the people I've talked to about their sgs2 say the the sgs2 is better (I don't see how ) and they use that as their means for being firm about their price. Thanks for your input btw

The GS2 is more expensive, but it's a better investment. It has generally better specs, and the Development looks more promising because of Samsung's support.

If I could go back in time, I would wait a week for the SII. It came out a week right after I got the G2x. Stock, I found the G2x to be nearly unbearable. Rooted with custom ROMs, it's good. Not sure how the development community is for the SII, but I'd still probably pick it over the G2x

WHO knows when sg3 will actually come to Us even more TMobile which get everything lastly. Not too mention the price it might be.

Well I guess I'll have to wait xD wish I could sell my stupid Sirius satellite radio and Kyle Yamaha keyboard then I'd have plenty lol thanks all for your comments! Didn't realize the g2x was that bad it actually looked pretty sweet and in terms of development I'd just need a fully working cm7 ROM with data2ext working which takes care of the 512mb issue but I'll wait

I just ordered a gently used G2x on ebay (they go around $200, depending on condition). This is a good value for the specs. The Galaxy S2 is $350+, which gets into a new Galaxy Nexus territory. From what I've researched, custom ROMs like CM7 should be pretty stable and fully functional, most of the problems with the G2x are software anyway. Only hardware issue is the camera dust under cover, which I plan to remedy by putting a clear tape over the LED flash, which I normally don't use anyway.
Also LG already announced ICS for Optimus 2X (international version), it's just delayed again to 3rd quarter, once that is out, one of the major problems with current CM9 ROMs should be resolved (no video acceleration or recording).
Speaking from experience, I have both phones.
GS2 wins for stability, just works, and has a better camera than the LG G2X. But..... personally I'm not thrilled with the GS2 device for the sheer size.
I've used G2X for almost a year. You just have to find a ROM you can live with and make tweaks so that it won't freeze/crash while charging. Other than that, phone is solid. CM7 was best ROM and overall performance. Stock gave best battery but I can't stand STOCK ROMs.
But the biggest reason I really switched to the GS2 was sick of the random crazy battery life and the GPS never working when I need it for emergencies.
I made the mistake of not test driving the GS2 on T-mobile store to get a better feel. Big screen with low resolution is what pisses me off, on top of the fact that the size of the phone isn't friendly to my small hands. If I overlook those two flaws, sure its awesome phone.
Also, the T989 just doesn't have a variety of ROMS available and have to wait for the official release from Tmobile, CM7 isn't reliable for it (I love CM7), and has no CM9 love yet.
I might overlook the negatives I have if Dev for T989 picked up. Until then, it works, reliable, and no headaches.

I own a G2X, my buddy has a Sgs2 an I would not trade him dead even! The G2X is resilient and easily customizable. Dev support for the G2X is 50 to 1 compared to the Sgs2. I have (and still do) flashed numerous Roms and Kernels to my phone with little or no issue. He bricked his rather quickly. He got his second one and asked me to root and customize - which I did. I was astonished at how little there was to look at / choose from in the Samsung forums here.
bang for your buck? +1 for the G2X
better screen and lots more $$$, go for the s2.

You must be talking about T-Mobile GS2. SGS2 international is one of the best supported devices out there, has official ICS + fully functional CM9.
Sweet, love all the input guys!! Really giving me a lot to work with and make my decision harder xD
I have a few questions, I found an SGS2 CM7 ROM that lists everything as working. And i too love CM7 waiting for AOKP or CM9 to obtain all the awesome features that CM7 has then i'll make the swap.
From what you guys posted it seems like the G2X has better stability and development. And yes i am talking about the SGH-T989 i cannot use the international version on T-Mobile as it doesnt support the 1700mhz frequency so i wont get 3G.
I am really liking the SGS2 ive been on youtube looking at different videos and it looks pretty awesome. Plus the super amoled display is stunning. Also, to the person who commented on the SGS2 having a lower resolution, what exactly do you mean? Are you saying the 800x400 is too small for the size? The screen is only .2 inches bigger than my HD2 which has the same resolution and i dont see it a problem. I might get the SGS2, i do really like the Amoled display. Ugh decisions decisions xD
Thanks all for the awesome information!
Got another question, 7o both phones support more than two finger multi touch?
