I changed my LCD density in the rom toolbox app and now the market won't show apps like Fandango and flixster. After unistalling the app and a reboot it still won't show these app. Anyway to fix this? Thank you!

Hey guys I'm currently running hypersensation cm7. Running faux kernel.
I used root tools to change my LCD density to 190 and now I am getting " application not compatible with your device"
Does anyone know a fix for this?

Had the exact problem for some reason you have to keep lcd dendity at stock 240 for apps to work on market
If i helped hit thanks

when i install them from back ups and that sort of thing i have no issue using them, so i know i dont "have to use 240". being as all of my apps work without an issue.
I am assuming that the market does not recognize my device as a sensation because of my resolution.
is there anyway to edit/ spoof this so that i dont have to change my lcd density back to stock everytime i want to get a new app from market ?
Thought I would post this here for everyone who loves some DPI
If you are not using a DPI or custom DPI don't do this mod.
Install:
Copy PlayStore3.7.13dpi.zip to your SDCARD
Wipe Cache
Flash Mod PlayStore3.7.13dpi.zip
Reboot
Enjoy! Some Density!!

This mod will allow people who use a density changer ( DPI changer ) is most set to 240 or 260 DPI to have a nicer looking screen almost as if you are upping the res on your phone. Well what happens is the play store sees this res and some apps are only set for certain DPIs will this fix forced the play store to install no mater what. Hope this clears things up.

Reinstall your gapps should work. hrm not sure why you got that error. Also try to go into settings>apps> pan over to ALL> force stop -google services framework- > clear data. Then reboot into recovery and clear cache and devl cahe to then reboot.

You should have that app it's prolly why you got that error I did a quick search and you are not the only one with this missing just a heads up. Let me know if you find it and how ya managed to fix it so others can benefit to.:good:
Thanks a lot for this! You're moving a lot faster than me I didn't even decompile the framework yet haha I just got back in town. Good job, not having any errors.

Found this here
All functions appear to work, Notification pull-down was causing it to crash, however, backing-up and removing the original clock from /system/app and rebooting has EVERYTHING working as it should!
I installed this manually by moving it into /system/app with Root Explorer and changing permissions to rw-r--r--
You might be more comfortable using the flashable zip from the original thread!?

nice job, i like it!
Is there a widget for this app? I don't see it.
Edit: oh I see it I guess it's only a analog clock.

Yep .. that's it
I removed the original one and pushed this one to system/app, and it force closes when I try to enter the alarms part. Everything else works. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you re-boot, that should get rid of the f/c
Reboot doesn't help :/
That's surprising, it may be to do with CM10, I have this running without problem on Blackbean-6 .
Did you definitely remove DeskClock.apk?
Yeah, but I found this app in play store and it's great, i actually prefer it over the 4.2 one

All the best
So im using Rom Toolbox Pro and desided to change my LCD density. Well, I kinda changed to large, (360) from 240. It reset my phone and i just screwed myself...I have a pin set and well, i can input my pin, but i cant press enter because its not being shown. I rooted my phone but I am still on stock odex 4.4.1 KitKat. The thing is that I can't find some of the apps on the play store while my brother who also has the nexus 5 but isn't rooted can find those apps. Some of the apps are dead trigger 2 and FIFA 14, I think it is because I changed my density in the build prop from 480 to 445 but is there any way I can still get all the apps on the play store without changing the DPI back to 480

If you change your dpi some apps won't be compatible. That's you problem
