Any way to get things like sound or auto correct working with the dock?
EDIT: [nevermind - misunderstood]

does anyone know if the transformer have an option to enable auto correction when docked with the keyboard dock.
since the transformer just replaced my laptop i started doing a lot of typing recently and im a horrible speller so it would help me a lot if i can enable this function or if maybe if i can add it
i am currently rooted running 3.2.1 revolver 3.9.5
any tips?
Hmmm..I don't know. A dumb solution is I think you can still view the soft keyboard even while docked and you could touch the suggestions but it defeats the purpose of the keyboard and extra screen space.
Fascinate CM7 Stable
You can't, just learn to spell better.
Since I suck at speeling, I'm interested in the spell checking stuff we should see in Androids future, which will probably/hopefully work with the dock. Or at least, I think it is in ICS and not a hold over to the expected Android 5/Jelly Bean.

Hopefully the transformer prime has auto correction when docked

That happened to me once when I spilled fanta all over my laptop's keyboard. Fortunately though I bought a replacement keyboard from ebay for about ten pounds, popped the old one off and new one on, and it worked again.
As for using the pad's kb with your laptop.. i see this as very unlikely as the only output from the keyboard is the propiretory asus dock connector, as it doesn't output keystrokes via usb, as this is like a straight-though OTG cable to connect to the pad.
I really hope that isn't a serious question.
i thought as much but it was worth a try

It may not be an ideal solution, but gmote should allow you to use the tf300t keyboard with your laptop. You would need to have the tablet docked though, and both devices would need to be connected to the same network. Similar apps may allow bluetooth or USB connections, but that's just a guess.
cheersmate ill give that a go as its just a stop gap till i can get to currys lol

That's a known bug that timduru is working on. http://public.timduru.org/Android/tf101/eos4/#bugs
Thats great news. Just got into my tf101 wasnt really going to give it a chance after having the nexus 7. But i decided to root and havent looked back. If the bluetooth problem gets fixed i will defenitely be purchasing that nifty keyboard dock. Just too bad amazon has it for 189.00 have to do some shopping around in the mean time.

Hey guys ill try to explain this the best i can lol, when i dock my tab and keyboard it doesnt pick up my sd card in the dock or it wont see any thing plugged into the usb port although there is power going to it as the light lights up on thumb drive but if i disconnect the tablet then redock it they work perfect, any else got this problem or any idea what the problem is, oh and i get it on all roms

You might have a damaged tablet/dock connector have you tried removing possible dust from them?
Sent from my Transformer Pad TF300T using xda premium
I remember that used to happen with me, especially with my 64GB usb3.0 stick, but I just tried it now and plugged it in and out of the usb slot about 5 times and it worked fine each time. Same with the sd card slot. Although I'm running an updated version that I haven't uploaded yet based on 10.6.2.6
i can remove the sd card and usb all the time mate its just when i dock the keyboard it wont read them intill i undock then redock them lol
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Not sure I follow. Do you mean if you have an SD in the dock, and then you try to dock the tablet it won't read it until you undock and then dock again?
yep thats it mate its the same every single time i do it lol
