That's a known bug that timduru is working on. http://public.timduru.org/Android/tf101/eos4/#bugs
Thats great news. Just got into my tf101 wasnt really going to give it a chance after having the nexus 7. But i decided to root and havent looked back. If the bluetooth problem gets fixed i will defenitely be purchasing that nifty keyboard dock. Just too bad amazon has it for 189.00 have to do some shopping around in the mean time.

Anyone have any bt mouses they use that work? Can you use one while using the keyboard?

Any bluetooth mouse should work I believe. I think you can have 2 devices paired at the same time too.
I use a Dell Bluetooth Mouse with a Bluetooth keyboard all the time. They work very well together. Now with Onlive Desktop, I have a very productive business tool with my Touchpad.
I bought my mouse used for $9.00 here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002G9J3MO/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details
Good luck!
I'm using a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. Yes you can use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard at the same time. Pretty much any bluetooth keyboard and mouse will work as long as they use are HID compliant which almost all are.
Hell I'm using a Mac mighty mouse for it and it works

Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000, Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard 6000. Work great together on Ubuntu (haven't tried in Android, but there's no reason they wouldn't work).
I bought this mouse off amazon and it DOES NOT work with the touchpad. With cm7 it would work but be extremely flighty. With cm9 it will pair but will not function...I also was looking for a mouse to use with the touchpad....specifically for splashtop. Also the mouse paired hid.

It doesn't have the best review rating on Amazon, only 2.5 stars. It's probably just a bad BT mouse in general. If you bought from Amazon or a Fulfilled by Amazon seller, they have a really good defective return policy that won't cost you anything to ship back/return if its been less than 30 days. They let you print off a prepaid (by them) return shipping label.
You may have to pay a bit more for a better brand if that one won't work. I've never had an issue with Microsoft or Logitech mice. Dell, HP and possibly other OEMs usually have rebranded Logitech stuff so they are good as well.
Blueputdroid on my Droid 4 works perfectly.
I get high fives from my tech-inclined friends for doing citrix remote desktop from my touch pad using Firefox running on Ubuntu 12.04 running on cm9 with the Droid 4 serving as Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and wifi hotspot. It is a sight to behold.
If you have an android phone you might consider this.

Alright guys so I got a mouse but It won't pair. I explained in another thread why, but it pretty much won't connect and if it does the mouse movement doesn't do anything even though I see the cursor on the screen. It works great on my galaxy nexus though. :/

I tried my iMac magic mouse and bluetooth slim keyboard but none of them do anything (could be a hid thing)... they do pair, and the keyboard I can register and pair when I type the passcode. Has anyone tried these?
Also, for those using Splashtop, does it support the keyboard and mouse? Its such a hassle to click/drag or open the keyboard to type.
Am using an old BTM-100 Anycom BT Mouse. Works very smooth.

Haven't tried with webOS, but with CM9, both my logitech BT mouse and keyboard work like a charm
I have the Razer Orochi and it works fine.
Sort of mouse related....I have the Logitech Mediaboard Pro for the PS3 (keyboard + trackpad) and it's worked well so far.
Using a Bluetooth mouse made this tablet even more awesome.

You can use your PS3 controller (if you have one). You will need root in order to do this. Just go into the market and get the app called Sixaxis Controller and just follow the instructions in the app description to set up your controller. I have done this and it works, I play ShadowGun THD with my ps3 controller
I have also heard of people saying that wiimotes work too.

AFAIK the only way to get the PS3 controller without rooting is connecting it through an usb adapter to the tablet. With what company do you have your accidental damage warranty?

Lolz, I guess you should contact them and ask if rooting voids the warranty. If it ever gets bricked you can just pour some coffee on it and say it was an accident
I highly recommend the PS3 controller too. Not only is the DualShock 3/Sixaxis controller very good (I've always liked Sony's controller layout) in and of itself, the driver/app is surprisingly polished.
On top of direct controller usage, you can also emulate keyboard and mouse and go as far as emulating touch presses on the screen for games that support nothing else. Made Galaxy on Fire 2 playable for me (hate virtual joysticks).

That happened to me once when I spilled fanta all over my laptop's keyboard. Fortunately though I bought a replacement keyboard from ebay for about ten pounds, popped the old one off and new one on, and it worked again.
As for using the pad's kb with your laptop.. i see this as very unlikely as the only output from the keyboard is the propiretory asus dock connector, as it doesn't output keystrokes via usb, as this is like a straight-though OTG cable to connect to the pad.
I really hope that isn't a serious question.

It may not be an ideal solution, but gmote should allow you to use the tf300t keyboard with your laptop. You would need to have the tablet docked though, and both devices would need to be connected to the same network. Similar apps may allow bluetooth or USB connections, but that's just a guess.
cheersmate ill give that a go as its just a stop gap till i can get to currys lol

Hello everybody,
On my previous tablet a TF101 (which belong now to my wife) with Megatron ROM
I used a 3G dongle on some places without wifi. Works very well, the tablet act as a phone.
Any chance to have the same possibility with the TF700T on some ROM?
Cheers

It seems that some dongles work on the Infinity. I am not sure where, maybe on the Asus forum I read about it. Will do some research as soon as I reach my PC.

Use a 3G or 4G mifi device instead. You put your simple in it and it connects wirelessly over wifi. Works beautifully. You can connect up to 5 devices at on time too. I use a Huawei e583
Tethering from your phone or using one of those 4G hotspots would be a lot easier.

Sent from my Transformer Pad TF300T using xda premium
I remember that used to happen with me, especially with my 64GB usb3.0 stick, but I just tried it now and plugged it in and out of the usb slot about 5 times and it worked fine each time. Same with the sd card slot. Although I'm running an updated version that I haven't uploaded yet based on 10.6.2.6
i can remove the sd card and usb all the time mate its just when i dock the keyboard it wont read them intill i undock then redock them lol
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 4 Beta
