Last point it worked: CM7-RC3, March 2012 Baseband
I tried to flash a different kernel: Harsh or ELP and neither would boot
I tried factory resetting, formatting system, reflashing stock kernel, flashing faux kernel, restoring 2.3.3-4.04 various Nandroids no matter what it instantly is still booting into recovery D:

I flashed Android Revolution and flashed the Rcmix Sensation kernel. Now it just boot loops displaying the HTC logo for about 15 seconds and shuts off. I tried restoring a back up to no avail, and wiped everything possible. I really need help and I'm really bummed right now. Thanks in advance.
Try flashing without the kernel. After a full wipe ofcourse.

Trying right now.
Edit: No luck
What recovery are you using? Have you tried formatting the system, data and cache partitions then installing the rom?

Using version 4.0.1.4, the blue text version, and yes Ive tried wiping everything and even mounted in recovery and installed the stock kernel, still boot looping.
Edit: Okay I got it. I just reflashed the stock kernel, then wiped everything, then reflashed the rom, then the stock kernel again. And Badaboom

thanks for the reply.
I did use nvflash. should i wipe data and cache before reinstalling cm7?
thanks
yes, wipe data, cache, dalvic, and do a factory reset (which I think does the first two, but most everything sys to also do a factory reset from CWM)
P.s. Damn, how many other night owls are there on this forum?
thanks guys the phone works now after reinstalling and wiping.
honestly the best rom on the g2x is eaglebloodv2.5 based of cyanogenmod 7.1 with the trinity 15 uc/uv kernal. dont get me wrong i love cm but i can overclock to 1.5 per core with -150mv stable
Since The last time I used the nandroid,
It left my phone in a boot loop,
Rom :Vahalla Black
Kernel :Bhudhven kernel with lagfix and cwm (beta2)

Yes, there was a thread about this already. Same problem. I was on Valhalla black, tried a full restore, and for some reason everything stopped working. Couldn't get into restore or download mode without a jig or computer.
You can restore data only, or try to minimize your mistakes.

Links for stock kernel are in these threads, with some flashing guidance.
OK I pushed factory recovery and kernel. It rebooted then I pushed cwm to the factory recovery and it didn't work. Now I am stuck in factory recovery I don't know what to do I may have bricked this phone. I tryed clearing memory and cache and installing the ROM I have on my SD card and I won't let me do that what do I do. I hope I can fix this

The only thing I can seem to successfully flash is faux123's kernel; not a single ROM has worked. I've tried flashing and wiping cache/data in every imaginable order, reinstalling stock 4.4.2 + stock kernel and flashing from there, installing from CWM 6.0.4.6 and TWRP (haven't tried 6.0.4.7 because I know it won't work), everything. All I ever get are boot logos.
What the hell am I doing wrong?

Try going back to jelly bean, install CWM for 4.3 bootloader and install CM11 on it without going to kk.

Not sure this is your issue
I've seen a section in here for a corrupted boot loader here maybe that will help.
