Set CPU is a paid app as far as I know.

Check out System Tuner. Free in Play Store:

Yes any link or info on how to get a paid service or paid software for free will be considered warez and will be removed from XDA. And the member that posted it will receive appropriate disciplinary action from the Mods and Admins.

I thought set CPU was free to download from xda?
Oh and op no offense but you ask far too many questions, just looking at the q&a section one of every 4 questions is from you for the last 2 or 3 pages. There is a search function and many of your questions have already been discussed on various threads. I'm not trying to be a moderator, just trying to remind you that there is search tool and that it is quite useful

Sorry for the double post everyone, but here is a link to the SetCPU app. It is free to XDA members but it is a paid app on the Play Store.
Now at DLittle2012 the OP of this thread and the other thread, "I overclocked my sensation to 1.566 and its stuck.", originally started about not being able to undo the overclocking on their device. There was no need to start two threads, and I simply went to the Apps and Games Subforum of Android Development and Hacking forum. Then typed "SetCPU" into the mini view of the XDA search and within a minute and a half I found a two post thread that had a link to the SetCPU thread.
XDA has a search feature. People Please use it!

On top of that, xda has a thanks feature use that too, I just saw your profile you haven't given a single thanks yet you have over 100 posts (many of which likely were spoonfed questions). We are all happy to help people that doesn't mean we want to carry you on your backs for something as simple as flashing rom
Sent from my sensational sensation 4g

Yeah man search some before starting 10 q&a threads. Every question you asked are pretty easy to find if you look. I'm with T-mac and yahhboy we're willing to help but plz look before posting a new question. Everything you've asked has been answered before.
If I were to guess your trolling to get your post count up.
PS system tuner is better in my opinion. I bought the paid version because it was so well made.

This. nothing more, nothing less. Although it is 2.24 compared to the market version of 2.3+. It works well even though the free one is outdated.

I apologize for my stupidity.Im very sorry to all of you that I have bothered.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA

O.k. I would like to say that none if your CPU setter or tuner apps worked.I had to completely remove the app and download the Rom again and reinstall it because I couldn't flash the version I backed up because its permanently stuck at 1.566.

Theres a reason for the mods not wanting Apharev threads....because they all turn into flame fests and tend to incite people to childish name calling and making demands like they have some right to any info or an answer from Alpharev.........

u can demand anything you want but is up to them if they want to even pay attention to what u r saying , maybe you should go over to their website and ask them in there......
Are you paying him to do this? Are you loosing anything with not getting S-Off? Everything in this community, is created by people who do this on their spare time or from their interest. THIS ISN'T THEIR JOB. Gosh, when will many of you "demanders" realize this.
That's right and he can man up and answer a question.

Mod request

Hey my friend pointed out that they split the themes and apps section into two separate ones on the epic forums. I think that would be appreciated here also
Here's a link to that thread

Yes, this was done in the epic 4g forums. IMO its much cleaner, I know, atleast with the epic, there is about just as many apps as there is themes so it gets awfully cluttered and gets difficult to find thing.

They are trying something similar with sgs2 development forums. I definitely think it would help clean things up and hopefully stop a few needless questions

To be honest I am nit sure why there is an apps section for every device anyway. We have an android app section that I beleice should hold all the android apps. Mostly due to them being universal with the exception of a small few. It is being looked into
Great request. And yes, it can get cluttered.

Install on top of old roms

Can I just install new roms, kernels over or on top of whatever is currently on my sd card.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
You go into recovery and find where it says wipe/format all partitions (except sd). You could download the superwipe zip. Should be in the sensation android development forum and its posted all over the place. You gotta know how to find it by now. I would post a link but I'm doing this from my phone. hope this can help you out a little bit more on your path to learning how to use android. I got a little testy with you and I'm sorry. Ask as many questions as you need to ask. Its best to wipe unless the developer says you don't have to. Just delete the old rom file off the SD card.
It's alright Um not trying to make a lot of posts.I just competely new to all this.I have a qwestion that I'm embarrassed to ask where is the thank you button at for U can thank all of you.and.thanks for the information.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
Thanks button is at the bottom of each post a person makes. Not sure of where its at if you use the xda app.
In the xda app thanks button is found by lightly pressing and hold on post, then a menu comes up with thanks button right there. Hope this helps!

Seriously? The Q and A forum is being ruined by questions? The guy's trying to learn, and he's anxious to do so. Sure, many of his questions have been answered before - but have you tried XDA's search? It's awful, especially if you're new and don't know certain terms yet like super-cid or AOKP/AOSP.

On May 25th there were 4 separate threads opened regarding questions that have been answered MANY times. Thanks to the mods for cleaning it up.
For me, if xda search doesnt work great... I just use google and add xda on my keyword... Works well... Q and a is a best place to ask but dont abuse it... I rooted my sensation before i even join xda.... There are other members also that are asking questions, and their thread is being push far behind because of abuse like this... Im just saying be considerate of others as well...

OK I was trying to take it easy on you and politely tell you that the answer you seek can be found in the thread for the ROM. But seeing your response has changed my mind.
First off it would be one thing if you posted something like the following.

This person has a right to start a thread asking a question.
But you on the other hand are saying this.
I know exactly where to get the answer to my question, and I know that I do not need to start a thread asking others for the answers. But I do not care I am going to do it anyway.

Now do you see why I posted the statement in my first post. Is taking the time to have a good read through the thread so hard. I think not, if people would take the time to actually do proper searching and reading here on XDA instead of posting unneeded and useless threads and posts asking questions that have already been answered numerous times. XDA would not be so cluttered, less clutter equals better user experience on XDA. I will leave you with one final though
